I found a coat I wanted to buy and the back seam was ripped (which I can fix since I sew). I went…read moreto check out and I asked the cashier (Brunilda) if there was a discount she could do since the coat was ripped in the back. Brunilda then proceeded to RIP the entire jacket down the center back and said "NO GOOD" ???!!!! This was a vintage jacket and she literally destroyed it on purpose ??? I still bought it begrudgingly and I'm very annoyed over the fact that she purposefully destroyed this beautiful coat so I wouldn't buy it. I have a feeling Goodwill employees do this on purpose and hide the item to then take it home to repair and then resell?? I had a similar situation w an employee at the Hallandale Goodwill who put a purse in the garbage that I wanted to buy and also said " no good" and would not let me purchase it OR offer a discount. I could be wrong but doing this is kind of evil and unscrupulous imo. When a customer asks for a discount bc the item is clearly damaged you don't proceed to damage it more and then say no discount no good!!! Period! Work on your customer service please bc this is getting ridiculous
