I thought some of the prices were high however signs throughout the location indicate prices are negotiable. Staff was friendly and greeted everyone as they entered. There is a scavenger hunt with a prize if you find all the items. You can even buy your beer as you browse. I am sure some people spend hours here. There is limited parking along the side of the building on the street. I am not a thrifter but it was fun to browse Oddballs.

Founded in the fall of 2009 the Rabbit Hole is located across the street from City Hall. There is plenty of free street parking available. According to the Rabbit Hole they specialize in clothing and accessories from the "50's-80's with some older and newer things sprinkled in". Every vintage piece of clothing is hand picked. They also offer new clothing and jewelry. A small display in the front of the store held china and glass ware. In addition to the small store they also sell online with a selection of new clothes. When I walked into the store my first thought was that I wished this was how my closet looked. Everything was so artfully arranged. The New Times has listed the Rabbit Hole as one of the best vintage stores in Miami. I almost left with a brown leather bag for $100 but I just couldn't justify the expense right now. Whether shopping or just browsing this is a fun stop to make.

Everything is separated by color not size so to find something you have to look through ALL 50 pairs of jeans, or 40 black shirts etc. there is a ton of stuff. Could not even get to a 1/3 of it. The employees are putting things away and constantly trying to take clothes out of people's baskets to hang back up!! Then at 6:30 all of a sudden one lady as my niece is in the changing room starts yelling no more no more and telling me to leave the area i told her my niece is in the room. She was "shooing" me away. I told her again. Then she turned to another employee and said in Spanish " this b*tch doesn't even know English". But guess what? I am fluent in Spanish. The thrift store is located on the side of the property. Hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 9 to 2. Thrifty Treasures has a small section of clothing. I was most interested in their bric-à-brac section which contained some vintage items. More expensive items were kept in a glass cabinet near the check out. They even had a few pieces of furniture. A side room contains children clothing, books, and toys. I ended up picking up some building magnets for the kids at school for only $4. Which leads me to why I love church thrift stores so much, they are always willing to bargain. Everything in the store was very reasonably priced and you can always make your own price suggestions. This isn't a huge thrift store but it was really fun to explore. They had some unique things and of course the inventory will always change depending on what people donate. You can support a worthy cause, find a treasure, and help the planet by keeping items out of the landfill all by thrifting. Come and check them out.

If you are looking for couture, high end, handbag heaven then this 2,000 sq. foot store is it. They specializes in bags with names like Burberry, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Gucci, Prada, Valentino, and Fendi. Everything is guaranteed to be authentic. The have new and pre owned bags. On the day I visited a new $6,000, caviar navy Chanel bag was being photographed and uploaded to the stores Instagram. A Yelp check in will net you a coupon for $75 off of a Chanel or a Louis Vuitton bag, It's definitely one of the highest check in offers I have ever seen. In addition to purses they also sell clothing, shoes, and jewelry. This is not your average thrift store, a pre owned handbag can still sell here for $1,000 but they had a few bags in the $200 range. There was even a clearance table with a selection of bags on it. At any given time they have 400 bags in stock to chose from. If you have a high end designer bag they will purchase yours too if you are interested in selling. During my visit I got a chance to chat with the owner Sandra who is an absolute sweetheart. She answered all my questions and let me take all the pictures I wanted. She even let me touch the $6,000 Chanel bag. If the bag is a consignment piece Sandra can't lower the price but if it is one of her bags she will work with you. It doesn't hurt to ask. You get a certificate of authenticity with your purchase so you can rest assured you are getting the real deal. Ultimately I didn't buy anything. If I have an extra grand to kick around I want the I Phone 11 pro but if money were no object, I would have a piece of arm candy from here.

Jara Eisen is the designer of the brand. Jara is a breast cancer survivor and her company supports the charity Fight Like a Girl. The idea for SoJara came to her when she and her daughter were unpacking a box and found an old shirt from a breast cancer walk they did and they didn't have the heart to throw it out. Instead Jara cut it up and sewed it on to a cozy flannel shirt. Now she's doing the same thing with band T's. It is her mission to "spread good vibes through inspirational messages and love for Rock & Roll". I think this is an awesome idea. All the shirts are sourced by Jara. Bands they had included my favorite Guns N' Roses, Def Leppard which was my first ever concert, as well as Metallica, The Who, The Beatles, and Nirvana to name just a few. Some of the band T- shirts have been repurposed and put on the back of vintage jackets and flannel plaid shirts. The also had hats, stickers, and jewelry. It definitely made me feel old that shirts from concerts of my era are now vintage. It also made start thinking about where my old shirts were. My daughter never wanted them although she did steal her father's Lollapalooza shirt. I guess she thinks he was cooler than me. LOL Coming here brought back so many memories about concerts I had gone to and how excited I was to wear the shirt the next day in high school.
