I held off writing a review of this business because I wanted to give them time to do the right thing. After my move, I discovered problems that I contacted the company to try to get them to solve, but the jerk who answers the phone was incredibly rude and dismissive, ignored my request to put me in touch with the company owner since he wasn't helping me, and then my emails went unanswered too. So unfortunately I have to say that this company is unreliable and you should under no circumstances hire them. The movers are not careful or thoughtful, and nothing will be done to rectify their many mistakes. In my case, the mistakes included a bookshelf that is now very wobbly, a suitcase and several boxes that they let sit in the pouring rain on the day of my move, two missing pieces on my book case that have rendered it unusable, the destruction of my two bidet hoses, and forgetting to bring a mattress bag to move my mattress in the pouring rain. I regret tipping any of them for the work that they did before taking time to actually inspect that work. On the day of my move I was too tired to realize how much damage they had done. It took about a week of starting to rearrange furniture at my new place before I realized it, but then when I contacted them to let them know about the issues, they ignored me. It's very stupid and short sighted because I'm renting an apartment, so this is obviously not going to be my forever home. When I do move, they could have guaranteed my repeat business and they could have benefitted from me suggesting them to others. Now they have not only lost any chance at more money from me, they can be sure I will tell everyone I meet to steer clear of them. I never leave negative reviews, but this experience warrants one. Not only did this moving company show up 2.5 hours late for our out of state move, but they handled our belongings with a complete lack of care. Every piece of furniture, (including family heirlooms), arrived heavily damaged. Deep gouges, broken legs, and scratched surfaces that were not there prior to the move. Items were poorly wrapped (if at all), and it showed. What's worse is the complete refusal to take accountability. After documenting the damage and reaching out, we were met with dismissive responses, delays, and ultimately no resolution. They wanted us to provide them with product #'s for each piece of furniture, several pieces don't have product #'s as they are antiques and have been in our family for generations. No meaningful claims process, no effort to make it right, just deflection and ridiculous requests for product #'s that don't even exist. Moving is already stressful. Hiring professionals is supposed to reduce that, not make it worse. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you value your belongings and expect basic professionalism and accountability. read more

Never ever hire this company!!! They claim they provide all the supplies you need to move. They ran out of moving blankets. Had us supply our own tools to take my furniture apart. And damaged almost all of my furniture. Did damage to my hardwood floors. And almost 2 months later have done nothing to compensate me. Zero Stars!!! read more

I would not use this company. Our moving job was a disaster the movers were slow, showed up high, argued through the entire move, one worker walked off the job and had to be replaced wasting more money. Because of their inefficiency they did not fully or properly load the truck forcing a second trip again wasting more time and money. We have moved three times with the same amount of stuff and the packing and unpacking took no more than three hours. The owner is rude and unwilling to work with me on a refund due to wasted time and damages. They were subcontracted to us and we were told by the company that subcontracted them that we would have to discuss a refund with We Get it Done, when we called the first time we were told by the owner that we had to call the company that hired them. Both companies are blaming the other and no one is keeping up the 100% satisfaction guarantee that is shown on the paperwork that was sent to us. I've been in sporadic contact because they ignore my calls and texts but when I call from a different number, they answer. It's now November and I haven't seen a check or heard from them. I hired we get it done moving for a move out job on January 17th. I hired them to pack my belongings and move them into a new apartment. The workers took from 11AM-7:30PM to complete the job. The workers were doing drugs on the job. The workers damaged several pieces of furniture: mattress is teared and covered in dirt, 4 cabinets have dents and scratches, a desk has scratches all over, the couch has gashes and is covered in dirt. The employees left without assembling the bed frame, part of the paid-for service. I had to put it together. The manager, Jeff, was rude and irate when we would call to ask him to direct his workers. There were no moving supplies brought besides boxes and a tool box. No piece of furniture, mirror, lamp, was covered as it was moved. This resulted in every piece having some kind of damage, whether minor or large. They scuffed the walls of both the apartment moved out of and moved into. For smaller items, they dumped them with no organization into boxes. Items spilled or broke. The workers were lazy, rude, and admitted throughout they did not have professional moving experience. One would sigh and complain each time he had to move something. Another snapped at me when I asked for help with packing, as I ended up packing most of my fragile belongings as the group of 5 workers just stood around or took smoke breaks. One filled a medium sized box with 6 containers of flour and nothing else. Half of the crew left mid way through the job with no explanation. Very disappointed with this company. I was stood up 2 days in a row with no warning the first day and only 15 minutes the next day. Very dishonest and unprofessional. I gave a requested notice of 3 days notice twice when I needed to postpone my move. I ended up firing them and they refused to give back my required 50% down payment. I would not recommend using these movers. Shame on them for taking advantage of a senior citizen on a fixed income. Disgusting behavior. read more

my 78-year-old mother and her disabled elderly roommate called this company to move only the big furniture from an upstairs apt to a downstairs apt after setting an appointment and recieving a 396.00 dollar downpayment they called and rescheduled the move for 3 days later the day mom told them they had to be moved out the original agreement was 396.00 down 396.00 upon completion 2 movers and a truck they didnt even need my niece showed up at the sceduled time of 10 am they were 20 minutes late spent 30 minutes in the bathroom several smoke breaks and loading most items to be thrown out including tvs and other item into their truck had to be coaxed to keep it moving as my mom was going to be charged an additional 396.00 if it went over the 2 hours. i showed up aroud 10:45 there were dressers and stands in the lawn in the mud scuffed dressers they broke her bed and lamp they were polite then myself and my neice did most of the moving ourselves .when almost done the one kid who introdused himself as will asked if i knew how they were getting paid as they couldnt leave without payment. i called my mom who was at work and she informed me the boss was herassing her for the final payment at that very time. i told her not to pay him and to call her bank i called the boss he was rude told me my mom better pay or he was adding 50 a day until she did and her credit rating would be affected i told him he could talk to my lawyer he offered a 30 dollar discount for her inconvienience and then said tell her to pay the balance and her lawyer can fight us in court to get it back at the same time the will guy was asking my moms roommate for payment and had the audacity to ask her for a tip. i then told the guy to take us to court and get the rst of the money and asked those movers to leave total scam just awful to think people rip off people use that skill for good people come on read more

The gentlemen who picked up and delivered the piece of furniture we paid for were great - polite, considerate and efficient. The female who handles the business side will of things quotes random prices that are misaligned with services. First, I was quoted a price of $130 for two men, one of whom would be using his "personal" truck. Second, When they saw the piece they decided they needed 4 men and a u-haul type truck so I was given a new quote of $400. We agreed up $375. Third, 4 men showed up in the man's "personal" truck. So, I paid the $130 in the morning of the delivery before and knew 2 men needed to be added. After the men left I called to see what the new cost would be since a moving truck was not used. I was told the "personal"" truck was belonged to the man driving it (one of the owners), but it was owned by the company. We landed on $360. At first she said the $130 was a discount...and that they charged $400 for four men. Later she told me she was charging me for three men. I told her that I had four men and she then said she was giving me a discount??? Every time I pointed out holes in her reasoning a new "truth" was produced. At one point she told me they charged a flat rate for mining certain types of furniture so I asked her why she was charging me by the number of men. I paid the $360, but word to the wise - get a break down of cost from this woman. She told me the costs of the truck was what increased the price so much and then when I asked to have that cost deducted she said it was negligible. She then said there was the cost of moving an object and that the men are paid $50 per two hours - their minimum work. Then she said they had to charge gas even when they didn't use a moving truck. I told her she should be charging me for gas and that isn't the same as a moving van rental. So - back to $130 - 2 men at $50 each, plus a charge for the object itself, plus gas is well more than $130. So...the $400 seemed like a real price gouge. Bottom line is she needs to figure out her prices, be honest with people, and not treat people like they are idiots. I did tip the men who were lovely. I had no problem with the men at all. They were sweet and made sure the sizable piece was where I wanted it to be for fear I couldn't move it after they left read more

The company charged me 50% deposit and the rest would be paid after delivery. The company never showed up and I had to call and ask them what was going on. They stated their computers were down and didn't have paper printouts of the delivery schedule. I was told they would come the next day but when they told me the actual date it was two days later which was not possible because I was closing on my house, I stated all this when I sent the deposit, my invoice also backs this up. I asked for a refund and Hannah insisted they would come in two days, I said that's not what we agreed upon and asked again to be refunded. I then called my bank to start a claim to get my deposit back. I called her back and told her I had contacted my bank and started a claim, she responded with, "how can you do this when I already refunded your account." I told her when the money was redeposited into my account I would let the bank know and cancel the claim. That was over 2 months ago, and they have since sent me 2 more invoices for services never rendered. I also contacted Angi's List to start a complaint and also followed through with the payment company Square Up because Hannah told me they refunded me already which they had not. I can't even think of where to start. I am very disappointed. First confirmed a time The owner was disappointed because his guy didn't want to come. He apparently found his friend or cousin to help. All this unknown to me. These guys came and damaged walls and furniture like there's no tomorrow. Very unprofessional. They were IMPATIENT. ready to go. The guy said he's just helping his cousin. He never did moving before. They damaged furniture and walls. Made my wife so sad and cry. This is unacceptable. I wish no one has to go thru this horror And devastation. The owner was quick to call back when confirming the guys. But didn't answer any calls after I told him what happen. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. ill be sure the word gets out. We moved from Brooklyn the movers loaded everything from the 3rd floor not even a scratch.
