This is a nice donut shop that's in the Westminster area. Every time we've been in, the donuts always smell delicious. Service is quick and fast. They do have a variety of donuts available but my favorite are the cronut holes and the donut holes. There's just something about the mini glaze flavor condensed in a tiny ball of dough. The good: I ordered delivery from here for a baby play date I had with some old friends. It was convenient and timely. I got jalapeño kolache, croissant donuts and a coconut donut. The croissant donuts were my favorite and were more donut-like than I expected (in a good way). They weren't dry inside the way some cronuts are and they were easy to pull apart with your teeth the way a donut is (croissants are harder to pull apart). I love the punny name. The donut flavor options are more classic. I'm a sucker for a yeast donut and definitely prefer it over the heavy cake donuts. The bad: I didn't care for the jalapeño kolache because it barely had jalapeño flavor and it was a bit dry and tough. It wasn't very unique tasting. The interesting: They have a few other locations. The best donuts I've had in Colorado! We routinely go for the croissant donuts which are delicious. Today we also tried the salted caramel (excellent, will definitely get it again) and the maple bacon (wasn't my favorite, but still good). Four donuts for $9.75, which isn't cheap, but also isn't more costly than other donut shops. The service is also great! The customer in front of me today was an older woman who didn't seem to have the easiest time getting around -- when she paid, the cashier offered to walk her to the car, and carried her donuts out for her. Food and donuts are great! Service is less than desirable, probably zero stars. We ordered breakfast burritos this morning and they gave us sandwiches. We've been there many times and ordered burritos, never once said sandwiches. They argued with us and told us they pulled the tape and said we said sandwiches, which is a lie. The young man behind the counter acted like an entitled kid that needs someone to turn the lights on and put him in a customer service 101 class. We tipped him 20%. He pushed the box across the counter and walked back to his cell phone and did not acknowledge the business we gave them or the tip for just putting what we ordered in a box. Donuts - they make me happy dance and this little gem makes me happy dance and clap. In case you haven't guessed the donuts are really good - my favorite is that they don't pre-fill them so you can pick your donut and your filling. You will have a bit of a wait because of the donuts not being prefilled but it's not a huge delay and so worth it. They are always super friendly and apologetic when they are out of donut - the blueberry go quickly. They also add a donut hole or two to every order I have gotten. I haven't had a bad donut or even a just okay - they have all been fresh and yummy. The store is small so if there is a line it feels very crowded. So i stopped by this place since my friend was pumping gas and the wifey was hungry and even though i had left a bad review before based on their service i went here to get her something quick to eat but let me tell you If you like really salty meat paired with super bland burritos this is definitely the place for you. You cant even taste the green chili even when we asked for extra inside the burrito there is no flavor just an extreme salty taste coming from the steak which i had to remove a lot of the meat it was just too much salt. The jalapeno kolache was just like a hotdog wrapped in a croissant dough with few slices of jalapenos inside. The donut was soft but so are the ones from kingsoopers but id rather buy a dozen at kingsoopers or safeway for 5.99 that are better and much cheaper.
