Great to have this facility! Pickleball is the hottest and fastest growing sport. So having this…read moreavailable has been awesome! It is easy to sign up on "Meetup" for all different levels of play. However, the pickle ball lines are hard to see and the kitchen line is white on one side and black on the other so it is a little more challenging than other courts I have played on. I have been playing in the advanced level and they allow 24 people to sign up on Meetup at one given time. It tends to be a bit disorganized, however, everyone does figure it out. $10 for two hours of play is reasonable. I have also played tennis on these courts, and they are excellent. The place is well lit, very clean and modern. The staff has always been very friendly and you can reserve courts for your own group very easily. This place has been quite busy...the word is out!

Look for tennis and pickleball signs. There is plenty of parking and as you enter the club they have a reception area in a small area to get ready, you will find stringing machines and some racquets and clothing stuff in a small area. If you climb 4 stairs, there is an area that you can watch the courts play from there, which is cool. Then, on your right side, you have neatly maintained restrooms and also shower area. Then, as you walk down, the courts are well light, and the temperature is well maintained, too. One thing I don't like is that the courts are narrow and have the extra color after the baseline. Otherwise, it's a very nice facility . On my exit, I did see a birthday party on the way to the courts so you can check it out..

This pool is a great size for little kids where they are able to be independent enough in a safe fenced area which includes playground equipment, toddler play area, the pools, and snackbar. Parents are still able to keep an eye on them from many vantage points. Kiddy pool is 12" deep with a step-not a gross shallow wading pool. The lifeguards are well trained and active participants throughout the swim club. They do a tremoundous job of "actually" watching the swimmers in the pool so everyone remains safe. There is always a group of kids playing baseball, frisbee, gaga, pick up hoops. Tennis pro on site for lessons & drills, morning yoga on hill for parents- its even during swim team practice so everyone is occupied. Or sign up for "Brookie Bots" !(underwater robot camp) Pack the cooler with lunch or dinner & make a day of it. It's always easy to find a quite spot to read while in the shade of the mature trees. Or choose to get some work accomplished (WIFI), On site grills, charcoal & grilling supplies, festive activities on holidays and throughout the summer including Teen Bash, movies nights while on swim floats, Adult Bash (beer garden, margrietta bar, buffet, music and parents hitting the dance floor) One of the members began the Annual Burger cookoff ! Thats what is so great about this member owned club. If there is something you want to see happen-engage the kids, family, or yourself ! and always love the oldschool vibe ! The mansion was built in 1882 and is architecturally interesting, as are a few of the buildings. There is a tennis house that I would love to call my own( I have a thing for tiny houses) But as a township taxpayer I can't help feeling that this property is underutilized. There is a tiny playground that seems to be forgotten. An antique tennis court that appears not to have been played on for decades. A lawn bowling court that is meticulously groomed, but does anyone even know what lawn bowling is? And grape vines that are reverting back to their wild form. A few times a year there are tours of the mansion, and in the summer months there are some concerts near the very large gazebo. But this is not a park with much recreation going on. Not really advisable for walking or jogging unless you are within walking distance. Maybe a picnic spot if you live or work nearby. With all this land it would be nice to see some biking or walking trails, or an upgraded playground at least. Still, in a township where open spaces are evaporating, I guess it is good that this land was not sold to a developer. But for the amount of taxes that residents pay, it would be better to see this park become more utilitarian. It just squeaked in at 3 Yelps.

Joan was a first class tour guide - as was Stephanie who gave the upstairs tour. It's a beautiful house, built in the late 1800s, with many fascinating artifacts and pieces of furniture and the history of the house and the Kuser family are very well presented. I highly recommend a visit - not only to the house but also to the park which has a wndmill, fountain, clay tennis court built in 1912, caretakers home, carriage house, gazebo, laundry house and gardens.
