5 year old twins had the pleasure of 4 lessons with her this last summer and they absolutely loved the 1-on-1 attention with Ms.

All my questions and emails were answered in a timely manner. The class sizes are small and individual attention could be given. Improvement for my daughter was noticeable in very short order. The hard working instructors (Josh & Steve for us), were spot on with directions. They had the student's attention with their verbal directions and showed the strokes and kicks themselves. At times they tag teamed to teach a class and were cohesive and inspiring. We also received a considerate phone call on the one time the pool had a problem, so we didn't leave the house and make an unnecessary trip. We look forward to good continued experiences in the future. Thanks everyone! !

if I could give 0 stars I would. if recently moved to Pennsylvania and i have a autistic child that…read moreis nonverbal and he don't understand the meaning of wait or sit down or any little command specially coming from a stranger. first let me start by saying that my son loves water and as a mother i though this school would be the best for him because ever since i spoke on the phone with them i told them my child is on the spectrum that's ok, she told me yes that's totally okay we have special people for kids like him ,i said great so we schedule a free try out for Thursday at 4 pm. today Thursday I arrived a hour early so that i can see the place and talk to them about pricing, well i felt great with the place and everyone looked friendly before i went for my son at school i explain to them how inpatient he was and how he is and she still said don't worry.so with all my confidence i got my son and like around 3:40 i head in with him changed him into his swim suit and told him he was going in the pool .to make the story short the time for him to go in the water come and i told the instructor hi he is nonverbal she said okay and then tells the life guard he is nonverbal i guess it was for him to be more aware of him. everything was fine until the instructor was asking him to sit on the bench because the pool was too deep for him to be standing, he won't sit i told her she said i need him to sit so i could also show the other boy that was there with her. We were having a hard time sitting him down and then the manager KAITLIN G comes and said to me and my son " you need to sit Hun if not you won't get a class, i turned and told her i explained how he was, and you know. she said i know but he need to seat or he can't take the class. I I'm already unconfutable in front of all this people and my son is crying because I'm trying to get him out the pool i pulled him to seat for a few second and i hear the manager on the back saying maybe that shows him he have to seat and said to him in a firm tone seat! i grabbed my son and walked out of there in tears said absolutely nothing to them. how do you welcome a child in the spectrum if you not even train well to deal with kids like this i don't recommend this place to any mom out there with a child in the spectrum my son will remember this day for ever.

The facilities are…read morebrand new and the pool is a heated salt water pool which is great for the little ones as it is less hard on the skin. His instructor is Stephanie and she is amazing. She has the perfect personality for our son and we couldn't have picked a better teacher. The only negative to this place is strip mall it is located in as it is pretty run down, but on the bright side there is plenty of parking and there is a Dunkin Donuts in the parking lot. As for cost it is a little on the expensive side for private lessons and is more than what we payed in NYC, but it is worth the extra cost to make sure he is safe in the water. I would definitely recommend sending your child here for swim lessons based on my experience.

The front desk team is always friendly, flexible, and incredibly helpful when it comes to scheduling make-up classes. A special shoutout to coaches Maribel and CJ --they've been exceptionally professional, patient, friendly and consistently encouraging. Their clear instruction and positive energy have truly boosted our daughter's confidence and swimming skills. I also highly recommend the Summer Clinic Program--the daily evaluations really accelerated her growth and gave us great insight into her progress. It's a safe, supportive, and fun place for any child to learn to swim.I highly recommend it to other parents!

Her current instructor is beyond amazing though. Our biggest problem with Bear Paddle is the facility. It feels disgusting. I understand the locker room will be wet, but the floor always looks dirty too, and it doesn't feel just wet, but slimy. It smells like strongly of urine half the time, and sometimes feces. Which leads me to believe they don't clean well enough and they likely need their drains cleaned. The floors in the changing rooms have gunk buildup. The walls are filthy. They need a professional cleaning service to clean multiple times a week, the floors need an acid wash and to be disinfected everyday. The walls need to be cleaned. I don't want to sound harsh or nit picky, I just don't think it's asking too much for cleanliness to be a high priority in a facility where kids and families change and expose their bodies to water, floors, benches, etc. Particularly for what they charge, considering they don't offer more flexible payment setup options. I don't want to keep my bank info on file, and the fees for cards are obnoxious---the tuition never seems to stay the same month over month either. Again, really do love most of the staff and instructors--and I love how far our kids have come by going here. But I'm to the point where we are probably going to have to switch schools, because I can't risk my young ones by exposing them to whatever is going on with that locker room.
