As far as the other reviews, even though they're several years old, I feel the need to respond. Why would you sit and wait? Put the stuff outside and go about your day, that's the whole point. If they have an issue, they'll get in touch. The furniture pickup review? It says right on the scheduling page that they don't accept furniture! Try reading the information about the organization and the acceptable donations before you schedule.

PROS: The company seems to run very professionally and is attentive to Covid guidelines. They only allowed a few people in at a time, masks required, good signage, out front, etc. CONS: Most things were not priced to sell so much as they were priced for profit. Also, a staff member was with you in every room kind of hovering (if they weren't initially in the room, they followed you into the room). As a customer, this felt awkward and uncomfortable.

The company offers moving services for purchased items and it was very helpful for me when they delivered a piece of furniture that I bought. They were very professional with Covid guidelines. While this was not our agency, the staff at Haven took us under their wing and agreed to work with our agency to help process this unique situation. It was easy to see why our birthmother chose Haven to help her place her child with us. Haven provided her with great resources not only during the process, but also after placement. They also did an amazing job teaming with our agency to ensure we were supported as well- keeping us informed the whole way through. They were with all of us through the entire delivery/ placement process to make sure that our son's best interests were paramount. We felt comfort in knowing that our birthmother was being well taken care of, and appreciated all the love and support that our family received. We consider the staffs of both agencies to be his 'fairy godmothers' and helping us find our happily ever after. Post placement we send our birthmother regular updates per an agreement Haven facilitated. They have helped us foster and maintain a level of contact that met all of our needs. Their advocacy for birthmothers and focus on erasing negative stigmas around placement is both admirable and supports our beliefs as well. I just can't, stress CAN'T just drive by a thrift store…read more... So en route to a camping weekend I had my route all planned out to include a few thrift stores on the way. Worhwhile Wear was one of those stops. Located in a small shopping complex next to a Giant supermarket I was impressed by the layout, displays, and quality. While it's a little on the small side, the quality was decent, and their sorting process thorough. I didn't see anything damaged, out of date, or stained. The store is set up nicely and the displays were thoughtfully curated and pleasing to look at. The toy department was a little skimpy, as were shoes and jewelry but what they had was nice. Prices seemed to be all over the place. I ended up buying a pair of higher end sandals for $10.99, which I struggled with. But they did appear to be worn very little. However, the next day when I wore them they literally feel apart within a period of 2 hours use, with the straps breaking away from the sole and the sole falling off. I'm assuming they were old and the glue just gave out. Oh well, live and learn! If I find myself in this area again I would stop again. WORTH NOTING: receipt is emailed to you unless you request otherwise, also no public bathroom use allowed, even for customers.

They wrap up your purchases with care - which means a lot when you find something fragile that you really like. And they have plenty of carts! No need to juggle your treasures. The store has color tag discounts every time I go in and they run special sales through the month, as well as a rewards program. Easy to drop off a donation, too. Plus, it is in a shopping center so I can pop in after groceries or before Dominick's pizza pick up ;) Definitely in my top three for area thrifting any day of the week.

It looks like a lot of people have been donating furniture. They have a lot of space displaying that. I digress. I like tchotchkes/ Knicknacks. And I like keeping my eyes peeled for little vases that way I can give them out as gifts if somebody's not feeling good or if they're feeling good and just need a little surprise. I was happy to see a Patrick Nagel picture here. ((It's very nostalgic for 80s lovers like me!! )
