WeOlive is one of our Shreveport favs!!! Must-try their mimosas during happy hour (usually every day until 1 PM). Their classic one has peach and basil in it, but they have several other combos of flavors. My tip is to ask the server for their favorite and get that one! There are plenty of options to try, and I can guarantee that none will disappoint. We love their salads and their flatbreads. To be honest, we haven't ventured off and tried anything else since we love these options so much. Our absolute fav is the burrata flatbread with spicy honey. It is absolutely delicious! It is perfectly crispy and not greasy. We have gotten it every time, and continue to be impressed. The servers are all sweethearts. Everyone seems to be very attentive and caring, willing to answer any questions. They have seating both inside and outside (both shaded and not). We stopped in to meet friends that were hanging out. I liked their selections of wine, not your common bar wines. I had the Angels & Cowboys red blend while my wife had the featured cab. In town to visit my son at Barksdale AFB, and I'm kicking myself in the butt for not stopping here earlier in my trip. Quaint and welcoming shop. Felt it as cozy, and with just the perfect variety in their menu. Son and I shared a caprese panini and prosciutto wrapped dates. Both were amazing, as was our drinks. I indulged in a Chocolate Peanut Butter porter. Lots of great gourmet things for sale - for a smaller city like Shreveport - flavored balsamics and olive oils. The food and and quiet atmosphere at this restaurant almost made me forget I was at lunch during the work week. We sat on the patio where there's three tables (with umbrellas) and a bar with a few stools. Our waitress was nice and the food portion sizes were spot on along with the flavor. Cute place. Chose not to "enjoy" the food or beverage. We walked in at the same time as another woman. There were 2 small tables inside with seating for 4 at each. There was additional bar and window counter-height seating. The two tables had a yellow post-it that said "Reserved 6/6:30. We were there at 430. The woman we walked in with asked if she could sit at one of the tables inside. The young lady behind the bar said that the tables were reserved but asked how many people would be joining her. The customer said just 1 more person. The young lady behind the bar said that they could sit at one of the tables inside. So nice of her! I asked if we could sit at the other table of 4...both tables had a crumpled yellow post-it placed on each table with "Reserved 6:630" on it. I figured if they kindly allowed the lady before us to use one of those tables, it was worth asking. It was still 1.5-2 hours before the reserved party would arrive. The same young lady behind the bar told us that the table was reserved and that we could sit outside. Hmmm. I asked if we could sit at the wide-open bar seating. She hesitated for several seconds, then reluctantly allowed us to sit there. We sat down for about 2 minutes, then after exchanging looks with my husband, we chose to get up and leave. We are not white. The lady before us and every other guest and employee at this place was. So, I can't review the food and beverage..only the customer service. We just weren't their kind of people. I have not personally experienced such blatant discrimination in over a decade. read more

This was quite an experience. La & Le were working. I don't think either one ever stopped smiling. I stopped in on my last night in Shreveport to unwind. La took great care of me at the bar. Le walked me through several products in hr shop area. I ended up with two bottles of oil and one of vinegar. The sparking wine I had was amazing, as was the Italian sandwich. It was even half price glasses on Wednesday, so not too hard in the wallet. I am unsure of my next time in Shreveport, but I know of at least one stop I will make. My first visit here (3/11/20) was quite good with some reservations. First the good. Friendly supportive staff. It's got a nice selection of wine from small producers that you don't find at a grocery. The tapas selections were good and creative. I look forward to visiting small tapas bars while traveling. And I travel a lot. My reason for not giving a fifth star was the small plates were quite expensive for the portions. I know small plates means small portions but for $19 the charcuterie & cheese plate just didn't have enough cheese or charcuterie meats for the price. read more

This place was amazing for lack of better words. The staff were so pleasant and professional. My boyfriend and I stopped in on a whim because we saw a keyword..."wine." Who knew we'd be tasting smooth olive oils, amazing vinegars and local honeys. Stopped in before dinner with my boyfriend to do some wine tasting. We chose 8 wines off their menu and sat outside as there was not adequate seating inside for our infant carrier. Their merchandise leaves the space feeling quite cluttered and limits the amount of indoor seating. The outdoor space was quite nice and we were quickly attended to by a very friendly and helpful server. The tasting was reasonably priced, although a couple of our selections were absolutely terrible, especially the local Shreveport wine which was by far the most disappointing wine I have ever tasted. I would stick to West Coast and import wines here. Overall I would recommend this business to a friend and we will visit again. read more

I've been here several times and haven't found anything I didn't enjoy including the flatbread, crostini plate etc. Wine and beer selection is great, many are locally sourced. Not worth it! The food is minimal for the price, outdoor seating is weird with the patio being so deeply sloped. Inside is freezing cold, service is lousy as the server doesn't know that they're supposed to bring silverware and napkins at the beginning of service. I love We Olive! The food and wine (and olive oil) are delicious. I've been to a couple We Olives now and am yet to be disappointed. Each one has a little local touch which is cool.
