New ownership is wonderful! Great spot to take the kids. Would recommend to any parents. Our daughter loves the trampoline and the zipline.

Thumbs Up: POST has done an excellent job repurposing Houston's historic Downtown Post Office into…read morea multipurpose destination. Thumbs Up: The rooftop lawn and garden are beautiful and provide a relaxing place to enjoy the city skyline. Thumbs Up: Portions of the rooftop are dedicated to gardens that grow fresh produce, adding a unique touch to the space. Neutral: I wasn't able to determine where the harvested produce ultimately goes. I'm sure the information is available somewhere, but I don't recall seeing it during my visits. Thumbs Up: I can actually see my home from the rooftop. Thumbs Up: I've watched a few rooftop concerts from my balcony. Thumbs Up: As an added bonus, it's always entertaining to hear some of my neighbors complain about the "noise pollution" during HOA meetings. Living Downtown comes with unique advantages and occasional inconveniences. If someone can't tolerate city life, they may be happier living in the suburb provinces. Thumbs Down: Access to the rooftop is sometimes restricted during seasonal events and special art installations. I understand the need for ticketed events, but I wish general access to the public spaces could remain available whenever practical. Thumbs Down: I am able-bodied, but I couldn't help noticing that rooftop access appears difficult for visitors who use wheelchairs or have mobility impairments. The elevators are not easy to locate, and several were out of service during my many visits. Improving accessibility would make this space more welcoming for everyone.

They host an array of events and activities (some are free, while others are ticketed). Events and activities include live music, DJs, yoga, Zumba, and seasonal events like Winter Wonderlawn during Christmas and Lunar New Year. There are seven gardens which take up about an acre. There's signs throughout the lawn that explain the different gardens and various spaces. Sky Farm is operated by Blackwood Educational Land Institute and they focus on regenerative agriculture and cultivation of food. The Outpost can be rented for events. Yelp Houston has hosted some events at the Outpost in the past. During the summer, it gets very hot! They have quite a few covered/shaded areas and there's vendors throughout if you need water or a beverage. There's lots of seating too (both covered and uncovered). A visit to Post Houston isn't complete without making the trek up to Skylawn! The views alone are worth it!

I was invited to this location because of the progress that my YouTube channel was making. I did…read morenot realize that YouTube even came out and did formal trainings to get your channel even better, but I was invited to this exclusive event. This location seemed to be physically in the middle of the city. Much construction along my route made me want to simply turn around and go home, but I trekked to the final destination. When I arrived, I must admit that the building itself seemed rather on the positive side of eye candy. Once YouTube opened up the event for all the exclusive content creators, you could see that this facility is really well maintained and is designed to give an elegant outing for whomever chooses to rent this place. The staff, who I would assume were part of the accommodations, were really nice and courteous the entire time all of us were in attendance. I am not certain if the food was part of the venue's menu or if YouTube purchased the food from some other establishment. If I get to go here again and eat there food, I will update my review accordingly.

This venue is breath taking and romantic, especially during the evening. The courtyard is an added bonus for a romantic feel. There is also a terrace that over looks the courtyard from the reception area, which also adds the gorgeous view. The food and bartender service were great! I didn't receive any complaints from my guest. I received compliments for the food and drinks more than anything. We worked with the venue coordinator and they are always available. We worked with Laura and Rebecca at first. Towards the date of our wedding someone else stepped in at our last meeting. Something that would worry brides is working with someone new but the transition worked out perfectly.
