First time to an indoor playground and wanted to take the kiddo. Came on a Monday as daycare was closed for the day. The check-in process was fairly straightforward, just a waiver and payment. Price is only for the kid using the equipment so parents are free which is nice. Pricing was ok, would have been a great deal if it was 30% less but ok for a few hours of entertainment. The area is divided into two sections - half is for younger kids and the other is for older. The younger section has a number of fun activities including a giant bouncy mat, small foam pit plus slides, large slides, entire jungle gym, small racetrack, and even the cars that kids can ride down small ramps. 80% of the equipment is in good working order, some of the cars were broken and some kids were fighting over the ramp cars. Staff doesn't really monitor the play areas so it's up to each parent to help police kids which usually works. Plenty of adult seating couches, and though it got a bit crowded it wasn't too bad. Not a bad place to burn a few hours once a month or so, but can see the playground getting boring over time. read more

We enjoying coming here! Not sure if they changed management or what but things have improved for the best! They made better use of the same and it doesn't look as empty as it had looked just a month ago! Even the restroom looked more "kept" Definitely will be visiting more frequently now! We do love that there is are two sides, one catered to under 5 and the other side for older kiddos. I do wish that the younger side was strictly for under 5 as the older kids do get a bit aggressive around the littles. No one enforces what side kids stay on. read more

A wonderful experience at Wonderwild! I took my daughter to Wonderwild and we were absolutely delighted. The place is clean, safe, and full of creative and fun activities for kids. The staff was very friendly and attentive, always making sure the children were doing well. I loved that there were areas for both active play and more relaxed play. This would've been a 5 star review if it wasn't for just one thing. We had our kids bd party here and almost everything was great. Prior to the event, I have to highlight Alfred's (event coordinator) service. Alfred was great, patient, and extremely helpful explaining everything and helping us choose what we needed. On the day of the party, the rooms were clean and nicely decorated, and the play area was great, kids had a blast. From the two people that were assigned to help us, Savannah was great; she was patient, nice, helpful, and pleasant. The only reason this is a 3 star review is the other person assigned to help out; Jose. Jose was available at all times, yet he seemed extremely annoyed most of the time and with any requests. Not just with us but even several guests mentioned they'd had some kind of unpleasant service experience with him. Other than that everything else was great! read more

I have hosted several parties here and attended as a guest and this place is going downhill fast. They have always been strict on rules but the new ownership is lacking customer service while enforcing the rules. They just start closing the garage on people the minute the party time is up while guests are socializing with no warning to get the kids into the party room. They are ripping down decor and shoving guests out. Also, they used to keep it clean but it smells awful like a dirty diaper and filthy carpet. The couches aren't clean. They also force you to pay the tip they specify and therefore the party attendants don't really care about helping much. It's a money grab and it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. read more

Because this is a great indoor playground in a place that doesn't have many of them. --- --- --- We came here for a 4 year old's birthday party, which consisted of one hour of play time, followed by lunch and cake in a private room for half an hour, and then we all went our separate ways. My wife and I drove separately, so I only witnessed about 15 minutes of the free play time, but it looked to everything that my son dreams of. Slides, tunnels, things to jump on - there was no shortage of fun. The only negative for him is that he would have happily traded in his cake for more play time, but that was not an option on this day. The best thing about Wonderwild: there are tons of places like this in the suburbs, but almost none inside the loop. So for parents in Houston, this is a Godsend. The worst thing about Wonderwild: it's only open for private parties on the weekend, which means, you have to come during the week for open play. That makes it really tough on households with more traditional work hours. read more

This place is priced based on walkers versus pre walkers. They are a six and under establishment so for those with toddlers this is a great aspect so you know your kid won't get run down. They have a big ol jumping contraption on both sides as well. They have private rooms for parties and it's clean. Plenty of spots to sit on the side for parents and caregivers. Overall, it's nearby where I stay in Houston so every time we are in town we always make a stop here! Remember, socks required! read more

I was a bit apprehensive after reading the reviews but I gotta say - we had a wonderful time celebrating my daughter's birthday! The place was nice and clean. The two ladies helping us (Maddison and I can't remember the other lady's name) were wonderful, very responsive, proactive and got us whatever we needed. They helped set everything up and break everything down. We did a themed party so the venue provided all the decorations, balloons, plates, napkins, plasticware and everything else we needed. The bathrooms were clean, baby changing area was super convenient, not broken (which is rare) and also very clean. The kids had a blast, my birthday girl was happy as a clam and didn't want to leave. Great establishment, just depends on the days they decide to change the rules depending on how busy their day is. There's never a consistency. One day it's ok for your 2 year old to play across all areas. The next time you go they're strictly forbidden to go to the same area they've played in before. read more

Honestly, I want to love this place, because it's one of the only play places in the area. But there is so much that needs to be done here. First of all, what's going on with the AC? The last two times I've been here, it's been hot. The AC sounds like it's struggling. I understand it's a big place, but minimally, there needs to be some airflow. It's stifling. And I've told the staff several times that the front door needs to be partitioned off so kids can't just head straight for the parking lot. There needs to be a little gate so that parents can feel rest assured to let their kids play. The last time we came, a mom came running out to the parking lot in a panic because she was trying to find her child and it was a possibility that the child had left the building, as the front door is really unattended and completely accessible. The front staff say they watch it, but they sit low behind a tall desk, and they are hard to see when you come in if they're sitting. It's just that this place could be fabulous, and it just doesn't have the attention or care it really needs. The new owners have improved it, and I guess with it being the sole place around, it's a cash cow for birthday, but in all honesty, it needs to be better. Tempted to start one myself!! I took my kid to play at wonderwild to get out of the house and escape the heat. He decided he wanted to get on one of the inflatable slides (suitable for adults too), so I went with him. No big deal until I tried to stand up to get off of the slide, it partially deflated causing me to fall off and land on my ankle. I sat there in terrible pain, crying for about 10 minutes and then tried to leave. I could not really walk. It was clear that I was in serious pain. Not one person that works there bothered to ask if I was OK or offered to help me. In fact they acted like they didn't see me. I thought I was going have to army crawl out of there. I was considering calling emergency.... I finally gathered up enough strength to limp out and on my way out I stopped by the front desk to tell the person behind the desk that I had hurt myself on the inflatable slide. Before I even finished telling her she told me which slide it was!!! She continued with stating that I signed a waver and that I could try to sue if I wanted to but I would never win. Honestly, my mind was not even there. I just wanted them to know so that no one else would get hurt and I wanted to go home and take care of myself. It wasn't until later that it really upset me, knowing that THEY KNEW THE SLIDE WAS MALFUNCTIONING AND ALLOWED PEOPLE TO GET ON IT ANYWAYS. she told me which slide before I even finished saying what happened!!!!!! There was not one stitch of compassion or sympathy for what had happened to me. Turns out my ankle was fractured. I will NEVER return to Wonderwild, knowing that they allow people on their inflatables, knowing that they are not holding air. The way I was treated when I was just trying to alert them of the situation is unbelievable. The fact that I was CLEARLY hurt and not ONE person offered help was mind blowing. At least I was the one that hurt myself and not my child. This establishment does not care about their guests take your children somewhere that DOES!!! read more

DEATH TRAP. They have retro arcade games that arent attached to their pedestal bases and one fell on my 4 year old. HORRIBLE, UNSAFE for younger kids due to apathetic staff who do not enforce the safety policies that are clearly posted everywhere. Staff refused to remove a child who was well over 6 (maybe 9 years old) from the 6 and only side, after the child had already trampled my 2 year old on a steep slide ladder. As a former elementary school teacher, I knew the child was too old, but staff and management repeated "I cannot remove the child, I am not the parent". Do NOT bring your toddlers here. read more

I agree with many reviews already written...nice play place but lacking in a lot of areas and VERY expensive for what you get. I paid ~$500 for 1 hour of play and 45 minutes in the party room for my son's birthday. They would only let our party stay on the little kid side even though we had some older kids that wanted to go to the big kid area and it was completely empty. The staff was nice but in my opinion just another reason for them to charge more as they basically did nothing. If it was less expensive and open to the public more on weekends I'd be here often but for them to only have weekends reserved for parties is ridiculous. read more

So I had high hopes for this place. I took 5 kids here, ages 5, 5, 7, 9 and 11. They only wanted to go into the big kid area so they could all play together. Within 30 minutes, they were bored. They came back to me complaining there was nothing to do, and they wanted to go over to the other side, where the little kids were. There was just more to do over there. I spent $89 bucks and it only lasted 30 minutes!! Additionally, there's no food sold here, no water except stale water fountains, no concessions. We brought water here with us, but no snacks. You are allowed to order food from outside restaurants and have it delivered, which we did, but no plates or utensils were provided. I definitely wouldn't have a bday party here, as the prices are astronomical and definitely not worth the services provided. Overall we probably won't be coming back with bigger kids. Ages 0-6 are allowed in the younger kids area, I guess it's good for my 5 year old... but what will his older sister do? They have a better and longer play time at kids empire. read more

Not well managed as there are open electrical outlets & wiring, exposed metal bars, etc and zero supervision from staff to monitor any hazards, dangerous play by older kids in the wrong area, or enforcing no shoe rules in baby/toddler areas. Their small kitchen play area has some really haggard, old sad looking toy sets with broken and missing pieces. That being said it's a decent option when desperate for an indoor AC'd activity in the blazing heat of Texas but it leaves a LOT to be desired & could easily be so much better with management changes. read more

If you plan to do your party here, read the contract very carefully and do not rely on the information they tell you. Horrible customer service by manager and owner! I booked my party on January 29th for March 25th party. I was told I would have 15 minutes before the party to set up. I requested the lavender/white room for my daughter's party. The other room is bright green and purple. I understood it's not guarantee. I called back a few weeks later to confirm the order party room. I was told by the manager that no other party was booked at that party time except for mine but we were booked in the green/purple room. I asked why if both rooms are available, why were we not booked for lavender room. He just said there's no guarantees on which room you get. Mila, probably the Owner, calls me back that evening from her cell phone to discuss with me. She said there's no room assignments. Their contract says there's no guarantees you will get 15 minutes to set up even though they tell you that you have 15 minutes to set up. I try to get clarification from the owner since I wanted to make sure I have 15 minutes to setup before my guess come. I wanted to greet my guests and not spend the party time setting up the table. The owner gets frustrated with me and talks over me in a rude tone that nothing is guarantee. So when I get there on the party day, the room I get is the one I get. So there is no way for me to plan decorations (I try to incorporate room colors so everything ties in nicely). She also said there is not 15 minutes guarantee time to set up. You can only bring your party stuff into their location 15 minutes before party, not the party room. You have the room the start of the party. She cancelled my party. I had booked almost two months in advance and she cancelled my party at no fault of mine. I am now scrambling to find another venue for my party day. We already sent out invitations. I have held two parties here before and have previously recommended them. It is disappointing that a business can be this unprofessional, have no regard or consideration for their customers, and that's just normal for them. If you have questions on party details, don't expect direct answers. Just read their fine print contract. Note that all the bad reviews for Wonderwild are about their customer service and host not being helpful. Read the contract closely. Week of your party, they will charge at the beginning of the week for entire birthday party plus 20% tip for party host. They will tell you you party host help facilitate the party and help you decorate but reading these reviews, customers had to decorate and do host duties themselves as party host assigned were disengaged. That was also my experience from my previous two parties held at Wonderwild. read more

Fun place to take the kids of all ages. When it's a rainy day or cold I take my two year old , they love it!

I took my granddaughter to a birthday party here on May 4, 2024. When I walked in, the lady at the desk put a wristband on my granddaughter's wrist after I told her what party and my granddaughter's name. At the same time she handed me a sheet of paper and said sign this. I thought it was very rude of her not to explain what she was asking me to sign. I started reading it and asked her if that was a release in case of injury. She said yes. First and foremost, your employees should not just hand us that paper and tell us to sign it. They need to explain to the customers what it means, what we are signing. Second their job isn't just too hand us a paper to sign. They need to explain to us that somersaults are not allowed. No one told me that, I later saw it on the bubble trampoline. The bigger girls were doing somersaults. Why? Because employees did not tell them or their parents that somersaults are not allowed. Second, your employees need to walk around and observe the children. Had they been walking around to observe, they would have seen this. If a child is hurt because another child is doing somersaults, you WILL be held responsible because parents and their children were not informed! That girl almost fell on my granddaughter and that girl is much bigger than my granddaughter is. My granddaughter could have been hurt badly. I told the girl somersaults are not allowed and she looked at me like I was crazy. That is your employees job. They don't get paid to just sit behind the desk and watch us sign a release. Train them correctly. Tell them to get up off their lazy asses and do what they are supposed to do. Show guests where the drinks are also. They announced that pizza was being served for the party but did not say anything about drinks. I did not see drinks anywhere. I went to the front desk and asked where do I buy drinks? The guy who announced the pizza said he brought a red cooler of drinks in there in the corner of the room on the floor. I only saw two kids with drinks. So apparently the other parents did not know about the drinks either. Train them correctly. Their responsibilities do not end when the party is paid for! Thank you. I hope the next party I take my granddaughter to over there, I see major improvements in the customer service! read more

Today was our first time. It was not too busy, but had a good crowd for the wonderwild side. I am a bit disappointed that the rules are not strictly enforced. Plenty of parents wore their shoes in the play area intended for infant-8yros. Even the attendant walked into the play area to vacuum with shoes on, and decided to not say anything to the offending parents. I will not be taking my crawler back because of this. There is also a dangerous outlet/section poorly blocked off right by the young toddler section, so if you have multiple kids to supervise be very aware! read more

We had my sons 5th birthday party and everyone had a great time! The contract is pretty much self explanatory! They do tell you ahead of time that 15 mins before are not guaranteed to decorate/set up but lucky for me we didn't have a party before us so we were able to get extra mins and the helpers were fast also. They did a good job, I hired spider man and they helped with the timing of pizza, show and cake! It is a bit pricy but its totally worth it because you have a private area all to yourself and guest. They do book fast so recommend you look into this place 2 months ahead of your prefer date! overall we will come back again for some play time! read more
