We had a nice visit here. My husband and I came after dinner wanting something local and sweet. My husband got the pistachio almond ice cream, and I decided to be a child and get the cotton candy flavor. I appreciated the addition of almond to my husband's ice cream, but it tasted a little artificial. The cotton candy also tasted artificial but that is to be expected and I really enjoyed it. I do wish the ice cream flavors had more of a homey feel to them, but they were still delicious! The staff was helpful, but I feel like the selling point of this place is the whimsical decor. Personally I would trade the decor for a bit higher quality product, but we still had a nice visit and would recommend if you're in the area in the mood for some dessert! read more

We stopped overnight in Louisville during a family vacation and I found this neighborhood gem for our 6 year old son. What a cool concept of an ice cream parlor. The staff was very nice and the space itself is great for kids to play in after grabbing a scoop. I will say that a small kid's single scoop seems a little pricey for what it is, but you're paying for the space. Wish we had something similar back home. read more

When I go to a local ice cream shop, I really prefer something made in-house or as part of their unique brand. Here, you will get Blue Bell ice cream. Not bad, but... can't I do that at home? I'll be honest. My family loved it here because the service was above and beyond. The man who helped us was incredibly kind and told us about how he built the building and painted everything in it! Which is very impressive - if you haven't been here, I'd go just to see the art! It's an environment perfectly curated to be a kid friendly ice cream shop. Is it the best ice cream ever? No, and I don't feel bad saying that because it's Blue Bell. However, it's still good ice cream! But the draw of this place is definitely the environment and the workers. read more

Strolling out in Germantown my friends and I originally desired Baked AF, they have been closing early so luckily We Scream is within walking distance. What a sweet tooth savior this was! There were so many options I was not sure what I wanted, the oatmeal cream pie milkshake ended up being my choice. The milkshake is thick, drinkable immediately but still thick. It had the most moist sweet chewy pieces of oatmeal cookie in it. They were blended well enough to not clog the straw which was a bonus. The service was good, the store became very crowded after we entered but they handled it well. The entrance tends to get a little crowded because everyone has to file in a certain way. However, the interior is so fun and colorful that you just have so much other things to focus on other than being in line. Add this to your summer ice cream list! read more

Super cute ice cream shop at the corner of Goss Avenue and Spratt. It just opened and they offered an All You Can Eat special for $10. We visited late on Sunday night before closing. The shop is brightly lit with a pinkish theme. When you enter, there's a small seating area and then counter to order ice cream, shakes, floats, sundaes, and candy! It's a kid's dream. There were many flavors to choose from and of course we sampled a bunch! Some notable flavors strawberry cheesecake, oatmeal cream pie, salted caramel brownie, cotton candy, and many more! We ended up ordering the cotton candy, salted caramel brownie, and peachy peach! Everyone was very happy with their orders. Pricing was competitive at $4.50 for a scoop. Very, friendly staff and an owner I assume I got the Sunday with hot fudge and she got a shake. She said the shake was very thick and delicious. I was very happy with my Sunday both flavors of ice cream I asked for we're very delicious. The whipped cream was real and generous, the hot fudge did not have that fruit toast, corn syrup, Wang that a lot of of them do very smooth than peanuts were very high-quality no powder or dust, nice solid, crunchy fresh nuts, and the cherry on top was very firm not old in a jar forever plus they give rewards points and the place is very cool with magic eight balls and Rubik's cubes and a chest. Our cat on the wall, that's a very interesting place. I will be getting a Sunday there again. read more

I LOVE this place!! Me and the boyfriend went down here for national chocolate ice cream day since they were having $2.50 on single scoops of ice cream. It's such a cute little place!! We walked in and it was so so colorful -- they had little fidgets in the middle of the toys for the kiddos to play with and every wall is decked in pinks and blues and oranges... they had a BUNCH of options ice cream wise and are happy to let you try them!! I tried the cotton candy and oatmeal cream pie and it was SOOO good!! They also have a bunch of mix ins and toppings to choose from for 50 cents each, but I passed since I was feeling more simplistic today. The guy working the counter was very nice and got us out pretty quickly considering he was the only one working!! Aside from scoops of ice cream, I noticed there were plenty of beverage options.. Jones', Faygo, even Nehi which I feel like I haven't seen in forever!! They had small pints of Bluebell ice cream you could buy and even Talenti pints for dairy free options, and had a small candy/toy section with sour patch, pixie sticks, hot wheels, and more!! Overall the vibes of this place were on point!! It was fun, but also cozy and homey all at the same time. I'm just so glad we have a great ice cream place less than 5 minutes from us without having to haul over to Dairy Del or Dairy Kastle!! :) read more
