Decided to take the kids out for ice cream. We normally drive 20 minutes to Louisville to hit Graeter's but this place came to mind so I thought we would give them a try. If you have an allergy kid, this is a good option for ice cream in Oldham County. They have all the traditonal flavors of regular ice cream (chocolate, vanilla, cookies n cream) but also have great selection of fruit sorbets for those who can't tolerate dairy. They have a few dozen popsicles that all look amazing. Today I tried a strawberry popsicle that was embedded with real strawberry and kiwi. My children had scoops of chocolate and mango sorbet all of which didnt survive the car trip home. I must mention it's super affordable. We walked away with treats for 4 people for just $10.00. Besides that there is plenty of parking in the lot as well as street parking nearby. I give 5 de Mayo five stars!

Delicious. The service was fast and good. We love the cookies and cream. We will definitely be back. Best ice cream in town.

This place is fantastic. Fresh fruit. So many varieties of fruit popsicles. A must do when in La Grange.

The fries lack, onion rings are batter, and I'm too scarred to venture into the menu any further. Ok, if it's warm I don't like it. Got it? 4 stars then? Wtf, mate? This trip I went with the seasonal Oreo peppermint, and it was super good. Better than I was expecting , honestly. Kids got turtles, and ate as kids do. Life lesson: pass on the burgers and fries, go for the treats. You can thank me later.

Considering how extremely busy it was the food came out quickly. I got the California burger with onion rings and a half chocolate half vanilla shake. Everything was delicious. I love the crispy edges of the steak burger. The onion rings were perfection. I am not a huge chocolate fan, the plain chocolate custard was to rich for my taste so the mix was perfect. If you're the person who orders your chocolate shake as vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup I'd suggest the 1/2 and 1/2. Love the location, thankful to have something on this side of town for those of us who live a bit father out. It was super clean and nice inside, love the ambiance and all the staff were so kind! Glad they offered both the spicy and regular fry sauce! Worth the wait!

They carry a slew of other dairy products such as cheese and butter. Flavors of ice cream vary as well as store hours based on the season. I believe their facebook page gives the most reliable source for hours, typically 11-9 through the summer. Staff is always super friendly, typically you'll just see Mrs. Rowlett making and serving ice cream while her brother is busy with the various cheeses and butter. Prices are sure to not break the bank and will certainly yield more than a few smiling faces indulging in such wonderful products. Craving more than a scoop or two? Well they've got half gallons ready to go home with you currently priced $12/each. My kids say Rowlett's is the best and I wholeheartedly agree!

I promise you, you've never tasted anything close to the coffee ice cream at Rowlett's Milkhouse Creamery. You'll thank me later. I took advantage of this beautiful fall day to drive to Campbellsvirg in Henry County and see this place for myself. Our office gets special treats on birthdays and I got to enjoy the coffee ice cream and I was in love. The texture was like silk on your tongue. The hint of coffee was just enough to fit through the sweetness to make it out of this world divine!!!!! So I'll shut my piehole about the coffee ice cream and talk about the other things Rowlett's has to offer. They have a large variety of cheeses, ice creams, ice creams and butter. I was looking forward to buying some butter for the banana bread I'm getting ready to make; however, they were sold out. Oh well, i'll have to make another trip there I guess. This business is locally owned by brother and sister Terry and Sharon Rowlett. I had the pleasure of meeting Sharon when I visited today and she was as nice as she could be. This is most definitely worth the drive and a great way to support local business. Y'all gotta make the trip. You won't regret it.
