I got on a call to reschedule my appointment for a closer date because I was trying to make a decision pretty quickly regarding the invisible aligners. The person on the phone said they have no control over the paperwork and hopefully it came through this time. Thankfully, it did so I did the paperwork ahead of time. Fast-forward to me getting there for my 830 appointment and waiting until about 20 minutes after that to be seen. There were an excessive amount of x-rays (the 360 and about 15 manual x rays and then a full 3D wand image) more than I have ever had for any visit in my entire life. There was also a comment made by the very nice tech ( to another tech) stating that I did not want to bite down on the x-ray thing. That is not true and minimized the disability that I had disclosed for a proactive reason. The issue is my jaw cannot hold that much weight, I needed the smallest x ray film device, and it was literally cutting into the roof of my mouth. Fast-forward to getting in the chair and having the dental hygienist, do an exam. I waited a longer amount of time than necessary for that. They also swapped a hygienist out because somebody needed to go speak Spanish to a different patient which impacted my visit. Once that was done, and then waited for the dentist who they had told that I needed to be at a different appointment by 10 AM because this assessment should not have taken more than an hour max. They said the dentist was quick, but I saw him go into somebody else's room who was there after me. This of course delayed my visit longer and I ended up getting out of there after 9:45 AM. I was there slightly over an hour and 45 minutes which is absolutely unheard of for which should have been just a consultation for these invisible liners. After the visit, I received emailed estimates that were not very detailed, which left me with pause. I was also told via email that they would follow up with me on Monday the 13th after they talk to insurance which again I did not know they were contacting insurance for a consultation. It is now the 15th and I do not have any response from them and I checked in with them yesterday for an update. I had also called my dentist on Monday and they said they never heard from Aspen Dental. While the people at the Clinic were nice and friendly, the business operation piece is not well organized, and there is a clear lack of follow through along with care and consideration for the patient's time. I

I make a consultation appointment for the following saturday at 8am. I wanted to opt out of using AI to diagnose me but no one mentioned it so i did when i was waiting for the dentist, i was then told that they already used it on one of the xray scanners. A dental hygienist came in to check my gum health & she explained that i should do a deep clean that they offer. 9:50 the dentist finally comes into my exam room, he mentions older fillings, wants to do some crowns, and says he wants to redo an old root canal. I mention that im free next saturday and i'm told the person who does root canals comes in only once a month and never on saturdays, i mentioned i was under the impression that you guys work on saturdays, im then told its only one saturday a month and the specialist isnt part of that schedule. I mention my pain in my upper right from my cracked filling, he cant find it through looking or on xray. He looks at the xray behind me and says aloud "i don't have time for this i have a patient in the other room". He says to go up front and the ladies will get me pricing and scheduling. I can hardly sit in their tiny seats so i had to just have one cheek on the seat while talking to her. She looks up specialists for the root canal and none are available on saturdays and tells me i need to research on my insurance website and tell them where to send the referral. She hands me a quote for the cleaning, the root canal, the crowns & laundry list of things he'd like to do to my teeth which totalled over $21,000 AFTER insurance to which i laughed and scoffed. Just for giggles i then said and how much if i just did that deep cleaning i was told about and was told $604 AFTER insurance which is insane but felt like a bargain compared to 21k for a guy who "doesn't have time for this". Needless to say i got the hell out of there and have zero desire to go back even if i win the lottery.

I used to go to the QC office years ago and while it wasn't the best either, it was probably better than this office by a million! I can't specifically recall which days they aren't open but I think they're only open like 3 days a week because anytime I tried to make an appointment they would tell me there was no dentist in the office that day. I came in when I was about 4 months pregnant with a broken filling and my OB gave the okay for them to work on me but the woman who was there wanted nothing to do with even touching me. She was nice and I liked her but she refused to touch my tooth at all. I had to spend my whole pregnancy trying to eat on one side of my mouth and avoid that tooth... Finally, my son was born and shortly after I was able to make an appointment. They continuously called me to reschedule for numerous ridiculous reasons (which they did with every appointment I had after this as well) and it took like two months to finally get in and at this point I needed a root canal that I probably wouldn't have needed before. She ended up shaving too much off of one side of my crown and the hygienist said "I hope you don't get food stuck in there" and that was it. I had to come back for some fillings and this time I saw a man (I never saw the same dentist except that woman twice) and he was so cocky and aggressive with my teeth and would carelessly flick anything disposable into the garbage can regardless if he missed. I had a tooth with slight decay and he spent a good five minutes picking at it and making it worse... I had another tooth that required work done years before this and had difficulties with the specialist so I brought it up to the third dentist I saw at this office and he said that they would request approval with my insurance to work on that tooth. About a month later, the messed up crown from my root canal completely broke 90% of my tooth off and I was told I would need it pulled and to get a bridge put in. I was also told this at the same time that they told me that my insurance approved the work for my other tooth but since I was about to turn 21 and no longer have dental, they couldn't do the work on me any more. I am actually glad now that I have different insurance now and can finally go to an amazing dentist and try to save my teeth, because I would never want to step foot in this place again.

Dental issues of course! This practice could not have been a better choice. From the young man who checked us in, to the hygienist we each had, to the dentist, to the very pleasant lady who checked us out - the experience was perfect. We were given a through exam with X-rays, then a cleaning for me (wife had to reschedule because she needs a deep cleaning - she is diabetic) and then the doctor went over my X-rays and made a plan of attack. ZERO pressure to book another appointment and ZERO pressure to continue with their services. We will continue with this practice as they are perfect for my wife's fear of the dentist and their staff is top notch!!!! Today my teeth feel great and I have booked another appointment as I need a root canal and I have no fear that this practice will take amazing care of me, my wife, and our teeth.

Then send me a bill saying oh insurances can cover up to 13yo or 19yo depending on insurance. I am 30 so they knew it would not be covered. But they are good about checking everything else that could be covered but not stuff they can do and back bill. The front desk also applied a $50 referral credit to my balance and gave me a $50 gift card. Then I get a bill because they messed up and it should have only been one or the other. As a business you should bite the bullet and make sure the mistake doesn't happen again instead of going after patient to pay back. Desirae was no help and offered no solutions other than paying back because of their mistake Dr. Scott Lee should be aware of how the office is treating patients. Would not recommend unless you like being back billed for their mistakes and being treated like it's your fault.
