I honestly hate writing such a poor review after having what was initially a good experience here. Joe Combs was really good at communicating with me via email prior to coming into the dealership to look at the car I wanted to lease and for the cost. However, when I did finally come in, the car I was going to lease was no longer available (of course) and the other car options I had were to cost a little more in my monthly payments (naturally). After test driving the car, Joe worked with his financial department to put together numbers. They initially offered to buy out my current lease (from another manufacturer) and take it off of my hands, two months early to my lease ending. I was ecstatic about this! Joe came back with the numbers that were just slightly higher than I wanted (for money down). I told him I was still happy with moving forward and glad they were able to get close to what I initially wanted to pay. Joe then had me contact my current lease to find out the payout information on my car, so they could write them a check and take the car off of my hands. I gladly gave this information to Joe and his team. After this information was handled by their team, Joe came back with needing another $500 to put down - otherwise my payments would be much higher than I wanted. Though I was not happy about this news, I obliged because at the end of the day, they were still taking the old lease off of my hands and I was walking away with a new car. Getting into the financial paperwork is when the big sticker shock hit me. The finance guy recommended I pay the almost $2K package for protection on my lease, because my car has a 'lot of fiberglass parts that are prone to damage and BMW doesn't care if you lease another car from them - they will make you pay for the damages.' So I reluctantly obliged and shelled out another lump sum of money... The finance guy moved swiftly thru all of the paperwork, I paid my down payment & for the lease protection and drove off in my new car. Everything was golden for about a month - until my prior leasing agent contacted me with an outstanding balance & an attempt to collect a debt! I was in pure shock of receiving this information as I always had a good standing with my leasing agent. It turns out, BWM cut a check that was too short to my previous leasing agent to purchase the car and that they were refusing to pay or even call back my previous leasing agent. I had to find this news out myself. After much discussing with my previous leasing agent, they informed me that even if BMW refused to pay the outstanding balance due, it was my responsibility. What a joke! I contacted Joe & his manager, James - and I had to constantly reach out to both to get any sort of response back. I finally got Joe on the phone last week to tell me that 'they are working on it' and that he'd get back to me. A day later I called him and he said he would discuss it with his manager yet again (continued to be brushed aside). Finally his manager called and left me a voicemail, with utter lies that BMW contact MY leasing agent to find out the payout amount - and the wrong amount was given to them. That was a total lie - I was requested by BMW to contact my leasing agent to find out the payout amount. BMW instructed me on what to do and so I followed their steps and later slapped with an outstanding bill. I have since tried contacting both Joe & his sales manager via email and phone and no one has had the courtesy to call me back. This is just once again a reminder that car salespeople are some of the most bait & switch salespeople on the planet and continue to make the car industry one of which I hate shopping for. I have been a customer of Weatherford BMW since 2010. I have bought 3 BMWs and have traded in 3 cars to Weatherford BMW. I WILL NO LONGER BE A CUSTOMER OF WEATHERFORD BMW OR ANY OF ITS OTHER SISTER COMPANIES, SONEN BMW AND CONCORD BMW. After traveling the USA and getting to visit other BMW dealerships I realized that WEATHERFORD BMW is the worse example of what BMW North America wants. Then seeing how most comments on here YELP aren't in favor of WEATHERFORD BMW I find that my experiences aren't off point. It's not normal for sales people and managers to talk down to fellow workmates. This is how WEATHERFORD BMW runs things. I'm all about being proud where I shop. If its from eggs to buying a car, it matters to me where I buy it. Just hearing all the bickering at this dealership and how they talk to their employees just grossed me out. I didn't realize people get talked like this in the work place. Its especially bad when the general public hears it. I heard the manager Greg La Something threaten an employee with his job if something didn't get taken care of before lunch. Who threatens people like that? I was shocked to hear it and I said something under my breath and a salesman heard me and he said thats pretty normal around here with most the management. This whole experience made me examine WEATHERFORD BMW even more so. NOW REMEMBER, I am a happy customer with my cars. I am NOT unhappy with BMW. I am just in disgust with WEATHERFORD BMW. The management there seems to walk around there like they are untouchable. As if they are doctors and they cured cancer. Remember, you are just sales people. I was able to get some more information from employees of WEATHERFORD BMW. One tech told me that this past Christmas Bonus was cut from their budget because they were acquiring SONEN BMW. When you want families to come and buy from you that really leaves a bad taste in their mouths. You can't even take care of your own families but the managers can roll around in high budget demo cars. WHICH brings me to another point. One New York BMW dealership doesn't even give managers demo BMW cars. This is so the dealer can put more back into the dealership for their customers. Like as we all know WEATHERFORD BMW coffee stand is a joke. ALL the other BMW dealerships I went to had Starbuck's machines or coffee stands with real good pastries. I was told by several store managers that this is due to not having expensive demo BMW's for personal vehicles. WHICH at WEATHERFORD BMW, ALL managers have very nice demo BMW's. I even had other BMW store managers and service managers sit me down to hear how things are ran at WEATHERFORD BMW. They explained everything they could to me on how things should be ran. They were very shocked to hear and were very apologetic. I was also told that the way WEATHERFORD BMW conducts their CSI scores is improper. There should never be bribing to a customer for a high score. At WEATHERFORD BMW they are aren't afraid to bribe a high score from you. At one point WEATHERFORD BMW was giving cash spiffs to their sales people for good YELP reviews. Its amazing what you find out from employees. They were very embarrassed to hear my own personal experiences with my loaner car when I was in for service. I understand we are in Berkeley but does it mean that the car should smell like marijuana? I even got into a used car on WEATHERFORD's lot to find it smell like marijuana. This is a BMW dealership? THIS IS ONE DEALERSHIP THAT NEEDS MANAGEMENT HELP ASAP! Level-set: Most of us dislike the car-buying process intensely, not necessarily just because of the transaction size and the associated heartburn (though that doesn't help), but because of the ridiculous spectacle that often showcases the most negative aspects of raw, pure capitalism. As a capitalist myself, it's not that I don't understand that all businesses need to earn a profit, I just dislike the unbridled dishonesty and bad behavior that typically accompanies the transaction. Most auto dealers (new or used) have very high turnover, and not only does this lead to a lack of continuity, but also makes it difficult for dealers to establish a consistent "culture." This certainly does not help the optics for the car buyer. Over years of car-buying, I have arrived at a personal policy - never go to the same dealer twice because the previous experience has always left a bad taste in my mouth. Until Weatherford BMW. I was led there in 2019 because I met one of the sales managers at a local BMW club driving event, and she was very smart, professional, and, well, not "salesy." Just good. When it was time to get a new car, she assigned me to a sales associate (Bobby, who was outstanding and also not "salesy") and I found myself a new car. I bought my first vehicle (2020 G20 M340i) there in 2019, and the sales process was painless. Everybody on the team (and at Weatherford, it's a team effort, from the sales associate to the guy prepping the car for delivery) is well trained, well-mannered (not syrupy, just polite) and interested in YOUR buying/genius/delivery/service experience. They listened to my needs, did not try to "steer" me away from my preference, and sold me an excellent car at an excellent price. Other than the mandatory set of inquiries about extended warranties and such, I was allowed (nay, welcomed) to buy the car I wanted - the way I wanted. Ok, so the car was great (it was a pandemic car, so it didn't see a ton of miles), and my service experience there was excellent and painless, but years later, it was time for me to address my lease (I ended up buying it out) and also prepare to eventually order another car. I was filled with dread, as I was sure everybody I had dealt with had left and I would be left to contend with a bunch of new folks I didn't know. Not so - most of the team remained (my original sales associate had been promoted), and more importantly, the culture was the exact same - all about maximizing customer experience but also working out a good deal/outcome for the customer, which is all most of us want. This time I was assigned to Kevin, who represents the Weatherford brand identity masterfully - responsive, informed, polite, communicative when needed, but never trying to "hurry the deal." I put a deposit on the car in late 2021, and as the car market started to shift dramatically toward the seller, they assured me that, during a period where I was ordering a new EV and every dealer was trying to mark these up by 10-15%, my original agreed-upon price would be honored. This stretched the bounds of my belief system, and yet when the car finally arrived in late-ish 2022, they honored EVERY commitment and made the buying process so pleasant and easy that I now prefer buying a car to going to the dentist. I purchased the car, and thus far their follow-up has been stellar. Bottom line, I didn't like car buying and I didn't like/trust car DEALERS, and Weatherford has changed me on both fronts. UPDATE: It's so funny to see that someone posted 5 star review on James Whittenburg immediately after my bad review on him on 12/1/2015. Important thing note here is that this person have not had any positive reviews after Jan 2013 (when he seemed to be working in Finance dept. and not in Sales). My advice is next time if someone writes a bad review on you atleast wait for few days to before getting a positive review written :-) I didn't want to malign anyone's image with my review but just share my experience. If you had taken responsibility for your behavior then there was a possibility that I would have deleted my review on yelp but instead it seems you've chosen to cover it up by getting, if I may say, a fake review written. Original Review posted on 12/1//2015: I recently have had a really bad (very unprofessional) experience working with this dealership. I was looking for a certified X5 and they happened to have one that I liked. But since they were asking for too much money (in my opinion), l didn't want to buy that. But the sales guy (let's leave his name out as I don't think he was at fault) kept following up with me. Then finally we agreed on a price. It was Saturday and we finalized things at @ 2:20pm on the phone. So I arranged for a cab to get there as I live near San Jose and told the sales guy that I'd be at the dealership by 5pm. On my way, I even asked him to send me the VIN # of the vehicle since I wanted to buy an insurance. So he did. When I reached the dealership around 5pm, I texted him to let him know that I was there. He said he would be there in few mins as he was with another customer. He came back at around 5:20pm and then went inside the dealership. Few minutes later he came back with his sales manager, James Whittenburg. The sales manager says to me "sorry but we sold that vehicle". So I said "what do you mean?". He said "we sold it an hour ago". Then I said "why didn't you call me? I was coming here to buy that vehicle which your sales guy & I agreed on 2 hours ago." Then the sales manager said "We just sold it 5 mins ago. Another sales guy shook hands with a customer". I said "I've been at the dealership for about 25 mins, why didn't you let me know? And how can you sell it to someone else when you committed that vehicle to me?". Then he said "oh, I have 25 sales people". Now that is not my problem that you can't even keep track of who is selling what. I said I paid $200 for a cab just to get here and your sales guy made a commitment to me. Then the sales manager arrogantly says "it's not his problem that I took a cab to get there". The sales manager James was very arrogant in his behavior. Even though he said he's sorry few times but it was so clear from his face that he didn't mean any of that. Now that "sorry" really doesn't count, does it? You want to buy a vehicle (especially used one) from a dealership you can trust. And when someone at the dealer can't even keep their word what's the guarantee that they will honor any of the commitments they made to you while selling the vehicle. If you absolutely must go to this dealership, I'd say stay away from dealing with James Whittenburg. read more

Please be careful they have very deceptive sales practices here. Not more then 5 minutes after posting this, Weatherford BMW has taken down the add from Autotrader.com !!!!!!! That only took 4 days, I wonder how many people went there wanting to buy that car? I found a car on autotrader.com that Weatherford BMW was advertising last week April 26, 2010. After talking it over with my husband we decided to send an email to the Internet Sales MGR Roberto Roy 510-761-6075 on Friday May 30, 2010 at 11:48am. Stating we did not want to waste his time or ours and made an offer on the vehicle. At 3:27pm Friday Mr. Roy emailed us back and said he would take the offer. I called and left a message for Mr. Roy that we would be in Saturday to check the car and complete the agreement. We did not get a call back that night. Saturday morning my husband called Mr. Roy at 11:30am and asked if the car was still available. Mr. Roy put him on hold for a few minutes and then told us the car was there. We told Mr. Roy that we would drive 90 minutes to see him and would arrive at 1:30pm Mr. Roy said he would be there. When we arrived Mr. Roy said the car was not available and it was sold last night. What? He then proceeded to tell me that he tried to email me and let me know but for some reason did not have our phone number. I asked Mr. Roy " Why did you tell me you had the car when I called you at 11:30am this morning" he replied in front of my wife and 2 other sales people " I always tell people we have the car" He then started to offer me other vehicles to look at. Mr. Roy did send an email to advise that the car was not available, but we had already left. Mr. Roy said he did not have a phone number to call us. Another lie, as the email we sent him to inquire about the car, and the next email we sent him to make an offer had our Cell phone number in the email. Mr. Roy felt as though it was not his fault we drove all the way to his dealership as he tried to contact us with an email and we should have email linked with our cell phone. As if it was our fault he did not tell us the truth the first time we called. And , why did he not bother to call us the night before knowing we had emailed an offer if the vehicle was being sold that night. My husband's response to that was" Don't deceive people into thinking you have a car, let them drive 3 hours, waste gas and toll and their time because you want to get them on the lot to sell a different car! Do you really think we want to buy a car from Weatherford BMW now that you lied to us! As of today Weatherford BMW has taken the car (a 2004 BMW M3 Convertible, Silver with vin ending in PK07092) off their website, 5 minutes after posting this review Weatherford BMW has taken down the add from Autotrader.com that only took them 4 days! Don't know about you, but I would never buy a car from this dealership or Mr. Roberto Roy. If anyone wants a copy of the emails that we sent and the email Mr. Roy sent, just ask we are happy to share the information to protect you from deceptive selling practices. read more

While we don't comment online very often, our great experience at Weatherford BMW compelled us to write this review. We came here to purchase a CPO BMW without expecting much and it turned out to be a pleasant and exciting experience. At every step of the way, we were treated with respect and patience. Every concern of ours was addressed and every question answered. We are especially grateful to Mostafa and Erin in the Sales Department who relentlessly worked with us through multiple hours of selections and deliberations. Erin patiently navigated us through six full test drives as we were considering various engines and packages. She readily explained car features and subtle differences between trims. She was able to spontaneously modify the driving test route so that we could test certain features of the car - from highway acceleration to handling tight corners. Definitely ask Erin if you have any questions about a new or CPO BMW. After spending a few hours test-driving with Erin, Mostafa took us under his wing to assist us with the decision-making. We had multiple concerns and inquiries based on our prior research and experience with BMW's. Mostafa was fluent with every aspect of our questioning from mechanical parameters, to manufacturer's service bulletins, to the subtle aspects of warranty agreements. A real professional, Mostafa didn't show any sign of impatience and was able to quickly pull up supporting documents and references. Of course, negotiating the deal is a very individual experience. In our case, working with Mostafa turned out to be a positive and productive process. At every step, we were treated with dignity and respect. There was never any pressure or games. The whole process was very amicable ending in full satisfaction - no buyer's remorse. Once we reached an agreement, the rest of the affair was streamlined and easy. What really impressed us is the standard of care that Mostafa exhibited at the tail end of the purchase. After the deal had already been negotiated, Mostafa examined faint imperfections in the vehicle paint and insisted that the affected area get refinished by the Service Department at no additional cost to us. Honestly, the car had very few miles on it and we were ready to drive it away as is. Mostafa firmly stood behind the BMW name and expressed that they do care about the quality of the vehicles that leave Weatherford BMW's lot. We will be coming back to have the paint corrections completed in the next few days at no cost. We are very pleased with the car that we purchased and the overall experience. We were able to test every model in which we were interested and had every resource at our disposal to make an educated decision. The staff made the overall process enjoyable and effective. The thought of buying a new vehicle can be stressful and overwhelming. From deciding on the model, going through the features, and then comparing prices can be very daunting to say the least. Last week I had made the decision to purchase a pre-certified BMW. Rather than spend aimless hours going from dealer to dealer, I decided that I would narrow my search online, perusing dealer websites looking at available inventory. Living in the Bay area, I combed thru several of the main dealerships, but it became apparent really quickly that Weatherford in Berkeley had what I found to be the best and most comprehensive selection of pre-owned BMW certified cars. I easily found the model and color I was seeking, and Weatherford had done a great job in highlighting the vehicles attributes, everything from feature set, VIN to pricing all at my fingertips. Further, I really liked that I was able to see a selection of 40+ pictures on the specific vehicle I was interested in purchasing, not to mention even a video of the car; truly a class act all the way. I called Weatherford at 9AM and was delighted to be connected to a salesperson immediately; I began working with Renold. Renold let me know that the vehicle I was interested in was available, and that he could work around my schedule for me to come into take a look and to test-drive the car. I had let him know that should we come to terms on a deal that day, that I already had my financing in order. He mentioned that he could most likely beat the rate my bank had quoted me, and after submitting the easiest loan form imaginable, he told me know that I would qualify for BMW financing, saving me roughly 3 points on the APR. So already feeling really great about this dealership and my salesperson, Renold - great inventory, pricing, and really helpful folks who I felt weren't trying to strong-arm me into a purchase. Upon inspection of the vehicle, it even surpassed my expectations - car simply looked, drove and even smelled brand new! We quickly came to terms on an agreeable price and I've got to say that working with Renold was a breeze and a real pleasure, bypassing the typical adversarial back and forth that usually encompasses this type of transaction. I would be amiss if I didn't also point out the finance Manager, James, was also really great to work with - he had the patience to answer all of my questions, and to show me all the various options available to save money by pre-paying for extended maintenance plans etc. Let's face it; it's great to have peace of mind knowing that you are covered for the unexpected. This was truly one of those great purchasing moments when everything aligned and in such a timely manner; from my initial call in the morning to when I was driving off the lot took no longer than just a few short hours. Weatherford BMW provided an extremely professional and courteous experience in both their service and sales departments. Service: In April 2012, I had a breakdown driving back from Napa, CA and had to have my 00 323ci (E46) towed to Weatherford BMW. It was after normal business hours for the sale department, so I parked the vehicle and placed my information, description of the incidents, and vehicle key in their overnight service drop box. Weatherford BMW's Service Advisor, Mr. Richard Angelis, contacted me on Monday and provided an overall assessment of the vehicle and recommended service. Having recently moved to the area, there was no local service history at Weatherford BMW, however, Mr. Angelis reached out to my most recent BMW service sites on the East Coast for historical information in order to provide a detailed course of action/options for maintenance. Within 1.5 days, Weatherford BMW was able to order, deliver, and replace the drive shaft assembly at an extremely reasonable price with a complimentary wash and detailing upon completion. Mr. Angelis was customer service oriented and made to time to greet me and explain the scope and nature of the maintenance. Sales: In May 2012, I decided to trade-in my aforementioned vehicle for a pre-owned 09 M3 (E92) and had the great pleasure to work with Mr. Boris Star as my Sales Manager and Mr. James Whittenburg as my Finance Manager. Having made my decision towards a pre-owned vehicle for purchase, Mr. Star, was extremely knowledgeable in providing all financial options available for consideration, to include the differences amongst the model lines from the standard 3-Series to inbound new M5. Mr. Star listened to my interests and preferences and tailored the purchase experience to suit my needs, specifically on what vehicle best matched my financial situation, lifestyle, driving habits, and future plans. Having narrowed to purchase of a pre-owned M3, Mr. Star, offered a test-drive to include full-explanations of all standard features and options on the vehicle, a walk-thru of the service history, and existing maintenance/warranty plans associated with the vehicle. When we finalized the trade-in and credit history, Mr. Whittenburg, was able to offer an even better local finance option, specific to Weatherford BMW, which my current lender, USAA, could not match. In fact, the difference in savings allowed for me to extend the maintenance/warranty plan on the vehicle. Both Mr. Star and Mr. Whittenburg were extremely professional, yet personable and could not have found a better experience. In addition, following purchase, Weatherford BMW, has contacted me for any follow-up issues/questions on the M3 and overall just to ensure that their service was consistent with what is expected out of BMW. This review is for Roberto Roy and Boris Star!! I have leased 3 BMW machines from Weatherford BMW all from my Client Advisor ROBERTO ROY over the last 12 years. A few months ago before my lease was about to end Roberto contacted me regarding my lease-end options and I took his advice to place an order for a new X5. About 6 weeks after placing my order I received a telephone call from Roberto informing me that he was no longer employed at Weatherford BMW. I asked him would that change the "deal" that he and I had agreed on regarding the return of my lease and the lease quote on the new X5 and he assured me that it would not. I asked him could he have the dealership place in writing the agreement that he had promised me and he told me that he could not but to please trust him like the other 3 lease transactions that we conducted. At that point I did not have a good feeling because although I trust Roberto I have had no dealings with any other Weatherford employees in the Sales Department except for Roberto; he always took care of me even made my service appointments for me. I must have called Roberto about 5 or 6 times asking him to assure me that he had made the necessary arrangements for a smooth delivery and in all of our conversations he would just tell me "trust me, everything will be fine". Roberto told me that he would select a Client Advisor from the Sales Department to deliver my X5 to me when it arrived. 2 weeks later I received a call from Boris Star informing me that my X5 was 1 week from arriving at the dealership and that he would take care of my delivery I asked him did Roberto discuss our agreement and he told me yes and that nothing would change from Roberto's lease quote on the X5. 5 days later Boris called me and we set an appointment to return my current lease and take delivery of my new X5. The day before I was to meet Boris at the dealership I called Roberto and told him that I was concerned regarding taking delivery of the X5 being that I had nothing in writing and that I was afraid that they would "bait and switch" me in regards to price once I arrived for my appointment. Roberto asked me what time was my appointment at Weatherford and he told me that he would meet me at the dealership. The next day when I arrived at Weatherford Roberto was waiting for me on the showroom floor and he introduced me to Client Advisor Boris Star, Sales Manager Rafael Macia, and Finance Manager David Manalo. They took my lease-return with no charges for the return and had all the lease paperwork ready for me on the new X5 and all the numbers were just like Roberto had promised. Just leased a new X6. I had been working with Chris Phan via email so he knew what I was looking for. When I arrived Chris was busy working with another customer. He immediately came over with another gentleman named Jon Heppler. I hate being handed over but I hate waiting around more so it made sense for Chris to make sure I was getting help. Jon took us to the used lot first and allowed us to test drive an X5 and said we could anything wanted afterwards. I wanted to compare to an X6 so we drove one of those as well. We finally sat down and ran some numbers on various X6 combinations and found one that worked. I think he was ready to close but I told him that I do not make snap decisions and wanted to think about it but would decide over the next week. He was fine with that and offers to send other X6 options he had from Concord and Marin BMW as they own those dealerships as well. I left the dealership pretty much sold on the X6 but want to test drive an Audi SQ5. We drove over to Audi and asked for the manager. I had been in contact with her online and stated that I would be coming in. My wife and waited around for 30 minutes until a salesman finally came out to help us. He was new so I'll give him a small break but we waiting another 15 minutes for them to bring out the only SQ5 they have in stock. That being said the SQ5 is beautiful and fast. I was close to changing my mind. When we finally sat down and ran numbers the payments came in much higher on a vehicle with less features. We asked him to print them up for us. He left and returned and gave us the rookie version of the hard sell. "How can I get you out of hear with a car today?" There was the turn off sales pitch. I said I wasn't going to make a snap decision and he then added "I've been here a month and haven't sold a car yet". I felt sorry for SOB but that wasn't going to make me buy a car. Like Jon from BMW he said he'd be in contact with me during the following week. I never heard from this guy again. Meanwhile Jon stayed in contact and check out a number of cars for me. I find the X6 I wanted at Eastbay BMW. Jon was able to execute a trade to get the car to Weatherford. I went to the dealer yesterday and picked it up. They were busy and had just implement at new CRM system so the process took longer than I would have liked but fortunately there was a Giant's game to watch in the meantime. Took my new X6 home last night. Got an email today thanking me for may business and making sure I was happy with everything. Needless to say Jon at Weatherford BMW kept me in a bimmer when I might have read more

I am writing this review in regards to the service performed and received to my boyfriend's car in mid January. This place is really good except for a few bad apples but every company has them even mine so I cant dock to many stars from this review. Richard my service adviser was extremely helpful, he listened to all of my concerns about my vehicle (peeling interior trim, tire light, and the replacement of an exhaust tip plus standard service) and got it all done in one day, very impressive especially when I had seen how many cars were in the driveway(a lot). There shuttle service was really convenient and the kid who picked me up was very polite and quite knowledgeable, I was truly impressed he didn't look any older then 17 and he was able to tell me everything that was done to my car. When I got there it was still busy, but Richard quickly and in an easy to understand way explained everything that was done to my boyfriend's car( this made it really easy to explain to my boyfriend. Richard got my car washed and brought up and sent me over to the cashier. This is where my experience at Weatherford went down hill, the overweight b*tch cashier greeted me with a sigh and a frown. Hello lady we are in a lousy economy BE HAPPY THAT YOU HAVE A JOB! I had to pay a hefty bill to replace the tires. Giving my money to someone who looks and acts like they are completely unsatisfied with their job not to mention very rude doesn't make it any easier for me. She handed me the keys and that was it, I didn't even get a customary non meaningful "have a nice evening" from her. If it wasn't for the cashier's inability to provide a pleasant "end" to my service I would have given Weatherford 5 stars. Long story short avoid the cashiers at this place, they will ruin it all. To be honest it seems like even there coworkers are fed up with they rudeness and antics as well. Hopefully the managers can rectify the problem, I believe my boyfriend's car is due for an oil change in July. I am going to ask him if I can take the car in instead of him to see if I get the same customer service from that cashier that i did in January. I know some people just have those bad days but come on you really ruined my experience that day, quit your job if it gets under your skin that bad. Disappointing Service Experience I've been a loyal BMW owner for years, but my experience with BMW Weatherford in Berkeley has been deeply frustrating. Over the course of four years, I repeatedly asked them to address a fuel tank pressure sensor issue in my that should have been covered under my extended warranty. They kept insisting there was no issue with the sensor, yet continued to perform unnecessary and unrelated services instead. Even after I provided documentation from another BMW service center confirming the issue, they still denied the repair and told me to return again for yet another paid check-up. At one point, I was told the engine light would just keep coming on, and that I should simply stop by occasionally so they could clear the codes... As the second owner, I requested access to the vehicle's full service history, especially since the car had always been serviced at Weatherford. That's when I discovered the previous owner had experienced the exact same issue. Weatherford had performed repairs totaling more than half the car's value, replacing nearly every part mentioned in related BMW forum threads, yet the fuel sensor was mentioned in the papers but had never been addressed. The previous owner even provided me with a second-opinion report confirming the sensor was covered under warranty. All this was completely ignored. Again, I was asked to pay more for another check-in. I also requested the service records copies and, unsurprisingly, was denied access. Over the years, I've been dismissed, brushed off, and never treated with fairness, kindness, or professionalism. I couldn't help but wonder: Is this just about making money, or is it how they treat someone with an accent like mine? Like the previous owner, I spent thousands of dollars (and as a schoolteacher, these expenses were a heavy burden), trying to fix problems that never actually existed. Thankfully, I eventually brought my car to BMW Fairfield, where they diagnosed and replaced the fuel tank pressure sensor under warranty in just three days. Their service was professional, respectful, and efficient, a complete contrast to my experience at Weatherford. My engine light has never come on since. This is my third BMW, and until now, I've never had an experience that made me question the brand. I truly hope no one else has to go through what I did. read more
