The IMSA event was super well organized--easy parking, clear signage, and friendly staff. Coming from the East Coast, the rolling terrain and elevation changes (hello Corkscrew) were awesome and made the racing extra exciting. The track and facilities were well kept, and the views were great. Definitely a fun, memorable weekend--worth the trip.

Great and fun track days for high decibel events but really sucks when it comes to noise complaints. Nothing you can do but overall a nice track that's really close to the Bay Area that we all can come to enjoy.

So this is my first car race/ Formula 1 car thing. It's pretty cool. I couldn't stop making Ricky Bobby Jokes. Definitely not a lot of diversity, but it's my first one. So whatever. Didn't really have an expectations at all, so I definitely had fun.

Came by for a private even the other day and it was a phenomenal experience. There was an employee prior to entering the facility to sign off on a waiver and parking was right in front of the facility due to our small group. Catering from the venue was decent and catering staff wore masks covering their mouth and nose along with blue gloves for safety. The track itself was clean and in great working condition.

Attended the 2021 Monterey Grand Prix. It was my first visit to the track and it was great to experience the race in person as opposed to TV. We had 3 day tickets for the Flag Room. The Flag Room is a tent located on a hill between turns 4 and 5. A great view entering and leaving turn 4 and entering turn 5. The Flag Room is equipped with inside and outdoor seating. Breakfast, lunch, snacks and refreshments are included. Golf cart shuttles are available to and from any location within the venue. A don't miss location is the corkscrew for some great driving action.

Love this track in General. They have that famous corkscrew for you and 2.4 miles track later, quite fun for learning or to take your cars out to race or just enjoy the track. We attended the AMG Driving Academy with AMG Mercedes Benz. It was an amazing experience. Got to drive the track and got to ride with the professional race instructors, that was the best part! We got to drift and race with once another too. Beside the track, they have a small gift shop with everything WeatherTech Laguna Seca logo on it! There is a Bubba Burger restaurant there but it wasn't open when we were there! So not really much option for food and drink. Luckily, our AMG training class got catering food in for us breakfast and lunch. This track is not too far from Monterey and Carmel, so we did a StayCation before we visit here!

One of the most iconic race venues in the world. Into motor sports? Cars? Trucks? Bikes? Find it all here! Laguna Seca hosts some of the best racers and races every year. They also host several open track days for the average Joe like you and me to go out and put together our best Mario Andretti to Lewis Hamilton performance on the track. Make sure to bring some shade as it gets hot and there isn't a ton of shade to be found.

A couple of vipers at the track

World famous Laguna Seca with its cork screw at turn 8. Amazing track. There is a large paddock but no gift shop. Be warmed that there is a 90 FB sound limit and the sound station is near turns 6, I forget. Violate if 3 times & you are off the track for the weekend. So do it at the end of your Sunday if you have to. There is food but no seats and nothing is covered & can get windy so be prepared.

Everytime a student driver made even the slightest of mistakes the head guy/owner of SB would yell so loud that his face would turn red. He made my entire experience horrible and I paid $10k! Everything he said and told us to do and not do was lead with intimidation and anger and threats....wasn't encouraging or helpful at all. Seemed like most of the instructors were also scared of him so they didn't encourage us to improve. I asked my instructor about him and he said yeah we are all scared to do something wrong. What a horrible way to run a business! I would've done more f4 classes but not here, EVER! There are much better run race classes. Run from Skip Barber and never look back!!

We started 25 minutes late. The staff seemed like it was their first day there. Skip Barber describes their courses as "lead and follow". Let me describe that for you. The instructor leads and you follow. This is not a bad concept as long as the lead car is capable of the same speed as the student. The "lead" car on the day of my session was a completely stock Toyota Camry. If that sounds bad, it was. Now add 4 students in the "lead" car every session receiving "instruction" while you are driving a car capable of 150 mph and the result is a lap speed of well under 70 MPH. The same lap car was used for all cars that day. Therefore, Formula 4 cars and GT cars were restricted to the same speed behind the lap car. If driving an exceptional car well below it's potential is appealing to you, I highly recommend Skip Barber.

My sight glass shows it is perfectly full with clean oil. Note: i asked them to not do oil change because i do that myself. Dangerous negligence: They claimed to adjust my chain, but my "before and after" photos prove the alignment marks and slack never changed. Worse, they left the backing lock-nuts on BOTH the right and left swingarms completely loose. Loose hardware: Both brake fluid reservoir caps were left loose with noticeable play in them. I had to personally tighten the screws down further myself so they wouldn't leak or vibrate off. Skipped work: I explicitly asked for a throttle and clutch cable adjustment. They didn't even touch them--the play is exactly the same as when I dropped it off. Leaving critical hardware loose on both sides of the axle and completely ignoring requested safety adjustments after a paid inspection is incredibly unsafe. It feels like they will lie to scare you into buying unneeded services and send you out the door on an unsafe bike. Avoid RS Speed Shop at all costs.

Worst experience EVER…read more We have been attending the Monster Jam event every year for the last 8 years (except COVID years obviously because of closure.) Every year the line on Main St. to get to the parking lot has been getting worse. This year was the WORST amount of CHAOS I have ever experienced for an event. We got into the area an HOUR early and still missed the first half hour of the event due to the incompetence of the descriptions below. First of all there was absolutely NO POLICE PRESENCE. No cops directing vehicle or pedestrian traffic. No cones directing vehicles towards the parking lot. Nothing. So there were tons of cars blocking all lanes cutting in front of each other. Car horns going off on each other. Almost seen a few fist fights. It was ridiculous. Second. There were NO signs letting vehicles know that the parking lot was CASH ONLY. I can't even imagine all of the cars that waited for over an hour in a two block radius to get into the even and not having cash. And having to turn back out of the parking lot. Third. The lines for spectators to get into the event were a 1/4 mile long. And at times wasn't moving at all. We stood in line for 45 minutes with tickets in hand. By the time we got to the front the ticket takers were already waving people inside because even they had enough of the nonsense. Once we got inside the event was like any other. Great fun. Monster Jam as a brand had NOTHING to do with all of the madness above. It was the Salinas Sports Complex and the organizers that get the blame. I love going to this event and look forward to it every year. IMHO it is the best arena near the Bay Area for this event. But I don't think I will go next year. And I think many others will feel the same way. My kids didn't like all the madness. The angry parents swearing at each other. The honking. The stress. Salinas Sports Comlex. Get your ISHT together. Notify the Police and have them do their job to help with your event. Or hire some competent people to get vehicle and pedestrian traffic into your event more efficiently. I did take tons of video from the event. If you are interested go to iDrive2Fast.com . Karl Sorry for the double bad review. I mean this place deserves it. Visited on July 3, 2026. We visited Gilroy Gardens after spending quite a bit of time researching…read morethe park and reading about its accessibility accommodations. Based on what was advertised, we expected a welcoming, family-friendly experience. Unfortunately, that wasn't what we encountered. The issues started before we even entered the park. After paying for parking, we were directed to a distant lot and faced a long walk to the entrance. Despite large crowds, there didn't seem to be any staff available to answer questions or help direct guests. We had purchased tickets online ahead of time to make entry easier, but ended up standing in one very long line where many guests were confused about whether it was for prepaid tickets, security, or both. It eventually became clear that everyone was funneled through the same process. The lack of organization made for a frustrating start to the day. The security screening also seemed inconsistent. Some guests were told to throw away drinks, while others brought in large meals and glass containers without issue. Clear and consistent policies would go a long way toward reducing confusion. Once inside, we stopped at the Welcome Center to inquire about accessibility accommodations. The process was surprisingly minimal. We were handed a paper pass and told to take it to each attraction. Based on the information on the website, we expected a more thoughtful and supportive system. At our first ride, we were given a return time and told that if we were more than 15 minutes late, the accommodation would no longer apply. That policy felt unnecessarily rigid. When we returned at the designated time, we were directed to wait at the exit gate in a crowded area where guests were constantly passing by. After everyone else boarded, staff seemed confused about our return time and had to figure out where to place us. One of the most disappointing moments involved a mobility device that staff would not recognize as an approved accessibility aid. Despite explaining its purpose, we were told only traditional wheelchairs qualified. The interaction felt inflexible and lacking in understanding, and it significantly impacted the rest of our visit. Later, we headed to Water Oasis and struggled to find a family restroom or accessible changing area. Restroom lines were extremely long, and the area itself felt overcrowded and poorly managed. There was very little staff presence, nowhere quiet to sit, and no one available when guests were cutting lines or creating issues. There was no space for my child to play and no occupancy limit of any sign. Not fun or safe for anyone. After less than two hours, we decided to leave. Before exiting, I stopped by the Welcome Center to share feedback about our experience. During the conversation, the employee assisting me appeared to smile or suppress laughter while I was explaining our concerns. Whether intentional or not, it came across as dismissive and unprofessional. I was told a supervisor would come speak with me, but no one ever showed up. What made this even more frustrating was seeing a large group of employees gathered near the exit saying goodbye to guests while assistance inside the park was so difficult to find throughout the day. I understand that no amusement park experience is perfect, and I'm not leaving this review simply because the day didn't go as planned. My disappointment comes from the gap between what Gilroy Gardens advertises and what we actually experienced. Accessibility is more than handing out return-time slips. It requires well-trained staff, reasonable flexibility, accessible facilities, adequate staffing, and a genuine commitment to helping all guests feel welcome. We invested time, money, and a lot of anticipation into this visit, and unfortunately left feeling disappointed. Based on our experience, this was the least accommodating amusement park we've visited. I hope Gilroy Gardens takes guest feedback seriously and makes meaningful improvements, because there is a lot of potential here. As it stands, we won't be returning.
