I've been to weaveXpress several times now and each time I've had amazing experiences. First of all let me say this salon is super cute and blinged out. Second of all you can get a glass of wine (adults only of course) and relax while your hair is getting done. Lastly I've never dealt with such fun, kind, down to earth hair stylist that just make the time go by so fast. As a woman who gets her hair done quite often, as well as weaves, I can tell you about some horror stories in my past. My appointment was at 4:30. The door was locked when their website states they close at 6pm. Anyways, so we finally get started at 5:00P-Late. I brought two bundles of hair. I have really thick hair so it requires a bundle and a half. SO, I used their ATM to pull out $120 for them to do the, "49 sew in" they offer. The price went up to $74 because I wanted it flat ironed. Told her to keep the change. 15 min later she says "oops I forgot to give you your change." lol. I responded, "I told you to keep it." She didn't thank me at all. I just tipped her $46 before she even did my hair! Ungrateful. The lady I had this day was so slow, on her phone texting, and answering calls. After two hours, She stops and told me after she added the braids, that she was going to have to stop and work on the other lady that had been waiting two hours to get her hair even started. The manger "T" said that it would only take 30-45 min and he would tell the stylist that I was in a hurry as well. He never did. I told her that I had dinner at 7:30p if she could just have me done asap. Thank god she never helped w the other lady. There was another hair stylist there working on her anyway. She was taking so long I had to cancel my dinner plans. It's now 6:30P, my hair looked horrible. She only used about 80% of one pack of hair. And even told her my hair is thick when I sat in her chair. She stops after the fact and tells me my hair is too thick after she did the sew in and calls her sup, on what to do lol. I asked her repeatedly to put at least a full pack of hair in. She took the hair out and started over. At this point I'm trying so hard not to lose my damn mind. Hair wasn't blended nor flat ironed yet. During this time she is telling me on what to ask for next time I come in so it's done the way I want. I told her that I just wanted the hair put in. She said because she needs to double the hair that it would be more. She probably said that twice to me as if I couldn't afford it or something. I told her I would pay whatever I needed to walk out of there w what I was looking for. The first two times I had my hair done here in total I've spent close to $600, so money isn't the issue. So, she removes the hair and some braids, re-added more braids, and starts re-installing the hair. Since doubling the hair weft will be $5 more per bar (BRAID), I told her I gave her $120 to take it from that. She stops and tells me that all she has is the $6 I gave her for a tip. Ugh, no. I gave her $120, I have no pockets, no purse on me so I didn't lose it and I know that I gave it to her. Literally half my head is done and she leaves AGAIN to call her sup. "T" on what to do. Counts the drawer, tells me, "The drawer is only $14 over plus the $6 you gave me. We don't want you thinking we are trying to pull one over on you." lol I told her to please just finish my hair. Just in case I wouldn't be done in time, I told my someone to bring me my clothes etc. Time is still passing and getting close to the second part of my plans that evening. About 8:30p now. I told her I had tickets to see a show, Zumanity, at 9:30p. She finally finished my hair. I swear she had to call her sup at least 5 different times possibly more, asking what to do with all these minor situations. I told her I would pay for whatever needed to be done. She didn't finish my sew-in till 8:37p. I didn't even have time to go home, fix my own hair, shower or get ready for the rest of my night, I had to put a hat on to hide what she had done, and get ready in my car. Shitty thing is she didn't blend it, flat iron Nothing! Thank god I had someone bring my clothes because I would've been late to the show. And my friend had been waiting for me over an hour now. I felt so bad. THE WORST THING ABOUT THIS APPOINTMENT IS THE FACT I COULD HEAR, THE SUPERVISOR/OWNER 'T' TALK SHIT ABOUT ME. HE WAS LOUD AND SHE WAS RIGHT NEXT TO ME, LAUGHING AT THE SHIT HE WAS SAYING. I was cool the whole time. Lol I found a new hair stylist in Henderson. Had extensions done and hair had grey hairs all in it.. I'm 23! Went back for a tightening a month later with a 9:30 appointment, they open at 9. Store locked and only answering machine. They called back at 10:10 and apologized saying to come back and they would get me in and out in 45 minutes. We agreed upon 4 pm. Wasn't finished until 6:55.... They're cheaper than most but the end results aren't worth the discount. read more

The worst place to ever go and have your hair done every 2 days it falls out you have to go back pay to get it done again there are the worst people to deal with never give them your money in advance and pay for services for hair because they will give you the crap crappiest hair and then tell you that they can't do it they are the worst business I have ever seen and I've seen a lot of bad ones. read more

It's just really frustrating when people don't value our time. Their time is always more important. But that isn't the way it should be. Especially when you are paying for a service! And I have a full time job, a husband and 16 month old triplets. I have no extra time! This is why I am writing g this review. I finally got some time to myself to get my hair done. I made an appt 1 week in advance. I spoke to one of the owners several times on the phone. He seemed so awesome and very helpful. When I got to the place, I was at the wrong location. Apparently there is a barber shop and a hair salon? No big deal. Same parking lot and once I arrived at the correct location, I was only about 10 mins late. I got there and I was greeted by a couple people in passing. After about 20 mins, the owner came out to say hello and charge me for the hair. Turns out, they only take cash! Ok, that would have been good to know prior. They have an atm machine but it only allowed $40. Ok...so I had to drive to the bank. Before I left, he told me about 15 more mins. I was gone for that amount of time but I still waited. And waited. And waited!!! Without anyone saying anything. Just people hanging out, laughing and joking. The most frustrating part is that no one gave me a heads up or anything. I have a life and my time is precious so if I have some time to wait, let me know so I can get some other things done! But no. No one said anything. My appt was at 2p and I waited until 3:30p and then I walked out. About an hour later I received a text saying my appt had been canceled. I wonder if that's when they noticed? Anyway, if you value your time, maybe find a different place. read more

OMG DO NOT GO HERE!! Tre seems like a nice guy until the claws come out. Here is what happened. I came down to get my hair done. He was going to give me blonde extentions and I bought the hair from him as well. On 12.22.17 I texted him and told him the hair was knotting up and just didn't like good. He asked me the type of shampoo I was using. I told him and he told me it was good (so he can't blame it on that) He told me to come down and he'd redo it...perhaps he could work his magic. I did and it seemed okay for one day and then back to the same old same old. We decided that a wig would be best. He said he would make it and I felt really good. I thought finally a stylist that will stand by their product. For the next FOUR weeks I was patient. No wig. I'd text him once a week to check on the status but their was always some excuse. It was the wig maker is in the hospital. He lost his business and had to move suddenly (which I had no idea what he was talking about) Finally, when I asked for my money back he got mad and told me he was canceling my sister's appointment (which she had nothing to do with this) then when I called him on it he tried to play the dozen by saying I inserted his husband (let me explain) yes I did because his husband who is a color specialist was going to color a portion of my hair so my real hair could match the weave hair. I paid his husband 100 as a down payment and scheduled the appointment for later. It turns out I didn't need his husband to color it because Tre was going to make me the wig so I simply asked could I use the 100 as a credit toward the new wig he was making me. He told me no because even though his husband does hair it is two completely different business to which I told him no problem. Bottom line....there are way too many places to get your hair done in Vegas. Tre will fool you to think he's nice but if he's stress, ticked off or what have you...you're going to get your eyes scratched out. I asked him for the address and he told me to come get my damn hair and grow up because I know where the salon is. The reason I was asking for the address is because he told me he had to move his business unexpectedly (so I guess that was a lie and an excuse on why he didn't handle his business) He actually tried to call me out for being a Christian and a Pastor (which had nothing to do with anything) I never yelled, cursed or did anything like that (again him trying to throw up a smoke screen instead of being accountable for his lack of professionalism). After more text of him trying to engage me in a cat fight...I just told him I'm better than that and I'll take it to social media. Honestly, after waiting for a month with promise after promise to deliver the wig...there was no wig...he just told me the hair was colored and I can pick it up from the front. What's probably more crazy is he thought he was doing me a favor and I'm like NOOOOOOOO you owe me that much. Lesson learned! read more

OMG, what can I say except my hair has never looked BETTER!!! I went in today for the first time, and YES I WILL BE BACK!!!! Dana, was kind enough to fit me last minute, as I have a very important interview tomorrow and I wanted to look my best and I do. She was quick and efficient. I was in and out in about 2.5hrs which has never happened before. The atmosphere is beautiful professional and clean.
