I got my wash + blowout done Mercedes C and she was amazing, i love how thoughtful and attentive she was to my requests, and absolutely loved how my hair turned out! When she washes your hair she really deep cleanses your scalp and gives the BEST scalp/neck massage. I couldn't be any happier with my hair and experience and definitely recommend and will be back! I met Antonia by chance when I was calling around different salons to see if I could find a good match for my daughter who needed a haircut. My teenage daughter has special needs and going to a salon can be overwhelming for her. I called Mosaic and they said they had someone great who happened to be available that evening. We met Antonia and she was so kind and patient. I started seeing her as my stylist after that and am so happy I did ! I just wanted to share my 5 star experience with Michelle at Mosaic on the west side. After going through a traumatizing Hair experience with a scamming, dishonest, disgruntled and awful stylist elsewhere, I wasn't gonna make the same mistake finding a new stylist since relocating to Vegas. This time around I made sure I had vetted reputable referrals for someone who could fix the mess that was left on my head. I was referred to Michelle and she is a platinum certified great lengths extension artist and wonderful colorist. Not to mention, she also listens to what you're going for and takes the time to consult with you so everyone's on the same page. I was in tears for days up until my consult with her and then afterwards I was so excited to have her do my color correction and fix my extensions that were botched. Finally, the day came and we split it up into two parts first color correction and then I went back two days later to put the rest of the hair extensions that were all missing from my head that I had paid for, but were withheld by the previous stylist. She spent 2 1/2 hours delicately and meticulously correcting my color and I appreciate that as it's very challenging to not only correct color, but I have to do it around someone's extensions that were just put in poorly. By the end of appointment was absolutely over the moon no more tears just happy and felt confident once again. Then I went back for the second part and she did an incredible job filling in all the empty parts of my head, where the extensions I had paid for were missing. She was super honest, and I knew I was in amazing hands. At the end of the appointment I was over the moon and so grateful that only was she able to take me on short notice but do such a beautiful job. Even people who would just blow out my hair and style it that have seen me since said this is the best my colors ever looked. Stay away from Mosaic Salon in Las Vegas. I booked a simple blowout. Nothing more. Amanda asked about my hair goals. I said I wanted blonde eventually, but only after my hair got stronger. I even said summer, four months later, so it could heal first. She pushed. Don't worry, I have a very gentle bleach that lifts fast and easy, no damage. It was my 40th birthday. I trusted her. My hair started very faded orange. Almost yellow-orange from old copper. And I don't even have long hair--just neck length. She applied blue toner to cancel the yellow, left it on too long, turned it neon green. Then five color removals, one quick fix, fifteen plus toners, fifteen plus washes. Fifteen plus hours total. Amanda had no clue. She kept calling over other stylists for advice, so they all hovered around staring at me like a lab rat. It wasn't hard. My hair was light enough. But she destroyed it. Chemical burns on my scalp. Sensitive from ears to neck, hurt so bad I couldn't sleep for days. ER visit. Owner Michelle shows up only the last thirty minutes, tries lilac toner, then says we didn't bleach you. Fact: she wasn't there. The team spent fifteen hours erasing the green she caused. She calls me a liar. Says I wanted black. No. I wanted brown with lilac. She said brown would stay green after she wrecked it first. Couldn't go lighter. More damage. So black was my only choice. And it's still green. Hair's chemically fried again. My hair was fragile going in. She swore it'd be fine. I should've trusted my gut. Michelle told me to come back. I asked for a refund. I was nice the whole sixteen hours in Amanda's chair. Extremely nice. Told her it's not her fault--even though it was. Never mean, never raised my voice. I only snapped at Michelle. After she called me a liar, refused to look at the photos I sent of the burns, said it's not chemical, it's a reaction. After five removals, a quick fix, fifteen plus toners and washes. It's chemical. Photos sent to Amanda. She never replied. Michelle guilt-trips me. Feel bad for Amanda, she's crying in the back because she couldn't get the green out. She lost money on you. Not my fault. Then God bless you like I'm the bad guy. I recorded every word. Her denying bleach, denying burns, blaming me. DM me, I'll send the photos. Amanda ruined my hair.
