I started by showing her a photo of what I wanted my hair to look like and she literally sat down and game planned with me in comparison to the photo and what was possible for my hair- so cool! I loved how she was upfront with me on the price before we started the process of transforming my hair to fabulous (see photos for reference)! It was roughly $400 I got a hair cut and my hair is very long and thick adding to the price. Every step of the way she kept me up to speed on what she was doing. I have been coming to see Veronica for her awesome artistic talents, and quite frankly she is the only person that I trust that could even touch my hair. Of course being Asian, I am very picky on hair stylist , since many stylist previously has screwed up my hair . I have left another review for her here on Yelp, and while I wanted to update the review, I did not want that review to be erased so I am leaving a new review here. I know if you are reading this review, you have probably read every reviews that was written for Balayage bombshell. Which is absolutely normal when you are dealing with beautifying yourself. Without mentioning any specific users here on Yelp who have left distasteful reviews for Veronica, I can honestly say that Veronica is a total straight shooter. First thing first, we all as woman have gone through probably dozens of hairstylist. IMHO I personally believe that any hair stylists cannot guarantee 100% the results of what your hair will look like in the end. Mainly because we all have different hair types. Take me for example, I am an Asian with super dark hair to begin with. But as you could see it in my photo, my hair lightened as much as an Asian hair type can be. The hair stylist can get you pretty close if not really close to your desired looks. But what the hair stylist cannot do is to maintain your hair afterwards. Unless you book another appointment. That is entirely in your own hands. Veronica is very attentive, and through the initial consultation, she will explain to you the process, what is achievable, and absolutely mentions that maintenance is key. What you do after you leave the salon is not the hair stylists fault at all. I have been coming to Veronica for over 2 years now. I have never had any issues with the outcome of the way I looked. And quite honestly when I left her chair, I always felt more beautiful than I first walked in. Really, isn't that the point all along. That when you leave the hair stylist chair feeling more confident and beautiful not only did the hairstylist do an awesome job, but brighten up your day, and also boosted your confidence level. That to me is worth more than how my hair look at the end of the day. But I promise you, Veronica has always hit the mark on how my hair looks. And as a side note, Veronica's personality it's absolutely wonderful. She is never confrontational, and I love her because she is just super chill. So if you haven't found the right hair stylist yet, take your chances and check out Veronica. I think my review will make more sense if you go and check her out yourself. Veronica is an Amazing Color Expert! She's extremely knowledgeable and experienced. She's always learning the newest and latest Balayage techniques for her clients, rather than staying with the same old techniques everyone uses. I came to her after darkening my bleach blonde hair with brunette box color. I wanted to go blonde again, but Veronica was very upfront with me about the condition of my hair, telling me that my hair would not withstand more bleach without compromising the integrity of my hair. She would not bleach my hair that day...which I'm grateful for, even though it wasn't what I wanted to hear. After following her instructions to treat my hair with K-Pak reconstructer by Joico and allowing time for my hair to grow out....I came back to her for blonde balayage and she did an amazing job!!! This was not the closest salon to me, however I am sooooooo thankful for trusting my gut and choosing Balayage Bombshell instead of my (name brand, well known) salon down the street. I wanted something fresh, something new and couldn't help but gravitate towards all the photos of darker hair transformed into bright hues. I am not in my 20's anymore as a matter of fact ya'll I'm 40. Albeit I've been told I look young I thought I am just too old for highlights or any drastic changes... even if my soul craved it. We talk back and forth via text and she asks me to send her a photo of my hair in which I comply. Then to be on the safe side she said to come in for a consultation at no cost! (I will be adding this as a suggestion tip as well) The drive is about 20-25 minutes from me...but I would say centrally located and very easy to get to from almost all of Vegas. I walk in to friendly faces and was greeted by the sweetest lady who offered me drink and not a minute later I was greeted by Veronica who led me through the salon to the best seat in the house! Private salon which I love because I am super self conscious of my forehead and hate when it is exposed for all to see (when in reality no one is paying attention... but hey it's my insecurity when I'm super confident I guess that inner voice will stop giving a damn and I'll own it like Tyra Banks.) But at least for now, Veronica and Balayage Bombshell offers me sweet refuge. Veronica is awesome and I can tell she has years of experience she takes her time to learn what I want and we do a strand test... it takes!! I book the appointment for the very next day! Of course I return to Veronica, she is so awesome! I pretty much went back to birth she is so easy to talk to. All the while she her magic, explaining why and what she is doing as she does it and even uses foil the same color as my hair when processing! This was an awesome experience and so much more to me than a fresh look and Bombshell hair (which Veronica delivered) I am rejuvenated and feel lighter inside and out to match my "tiara" as Veronica calls it. Went from drab hair.. to Balayage Bombshell!!! As soon as my mom saw my hair (who is the worst critic) she couldn't stop raving and taking credit for sending me pics from Veronica's clients. I found Veronica on yelp and as usual, you guys came through! She was quick to respond my message on yelp. I set an appointment for a consultation with her for that week. She text me about an hr and half before the appt. asking if I could go in earlier because her appt. before me cancelled. Luckily, I was just at home and didn't have plans for the day. So that was a big YES! I got there in 10 min (I live nearby) and she told me the cost and process for what I originally wanted done. The process was a lot more than what I had thought it would be and I wasn't sure I wanted such a drastic change so fast. She politely gave me an alternate option with bayalage (to lift what I currently have & make it lighter) I loved the idea! She let me know she had the time and asked if I wanted to get started.
