    We were in Webster City visiting family. The tire pressure on our rental car was low, and we were…read moreleaving the next day for Des Moines. Dave called the car rental company, who told us we had a full spare in the trunk, and that they'd send someone to change the tire. We checked the trunk and found a donut tire, not a full size spare. We didn't want to drive on the interstate with that tire, so we cancelled the service call from the rental company. Fortunately, someone recommended Marlie's. We called them forty minutes before they closed and they were so nice! They told us to come by so they could take a look at the tire They removed the screw, patched our tire, and only charged $30. Plus, we had a really nice conversation while we waited. As a bonus, they recommended dinner at Seneca Street Saloon. We ordered pizza, and it was delicious! Marlie's is the best!

YEA!! truck is behaving well and as the ignition control continues to not detect the annoying event it continues to get weller each day. we had some small confusion about when I could pick up, but it was resolved quickly and amicably. seems a nice place and decent folks

With the COVID-19 pandemic many dealers did not have what I wanted but this team didn't let that stop them. I worked with Drake who personally contacted other dealers in nearby states and was able to get the car delivered in Iowa. I even had my family in another state try to help me find the car in the color and specifications but they were not able to find it. It was at this dealership with their knowledge and research skills that they were able to find the car. Also, since this was my first time financing a car I wasn't sure what the process was but Sidney was very patient with me and helped me get a great deal! I took advantage of the special Toyota had and since I am going to be a new grad I was able to apply for that program as well.     I was looking for a used car for my Daughter, this was going to be her first car so it was a very…read morebig day. I found a car I was interested in, and drove to Ft Dodge, from Des Moines to look at it. At first, I was afraid this was going to be another "Big Dealership" experience, where the interaction was going to be impersonal and the negotiations drawn out and painful. Boy, was I surprised. We were met immediately at the front door by a Salesman, who immediately helped us even though we were looking at the cheapest cars on the lot. The vehicle we test drove, and subsequently purchased was clean, fully operational, and exactly what the advertisement showed. This is one of the few used car dealerships I have ever found with a "7 Day, if you don't like it, bring it back!" guarantee. That made me feel quite a bit better about the quality of the cars I was looking at on this lot. But it gets better. After the price negotiation, which took about 5 minutes, they met the price we both felt was very fair for the car. The Sales Manager came over, and very carefully explained all the paperwork to my daughter, what each form was, and what it meant. My daughters eyes really lit up, as it was her first real "business" experience. When they heard it was her first car, the Store Manager came over and introduced himself to us, was genuinely excited that we had chosen their dealership as her first purchasing experience. This was probably the best dealership experience I have had in my 25 years of purchasing cars, and the next time I am in the market for a Ford, Toyota, Lincoln or any used car, Fort Dodge Toyota will be at the top of my list. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for New car, or a quality used car. I received no payment or incentive to write this review. This review is entirely from the heart of a very satisfied customer.

Since I live in Des Moines I ended up going to see the 06 Durango on a Friday afternoon/evening. I didn't think I would be driving home in my new to me Durango since it was after 4pm and they close at 6! Wayde the salesman was helpful and considerate, while being discreet and honest. In the end I drove home well after 6pm in my new vehicle. I got an excellent price, great financing and a vehicle that I am extremely happy with!

    I brought my 2022 Honda Odyssey on June 22 to Honda of Ames for regular maintenance. When I…read morearrived, I met with a Service Advisor and clearly requested an oil change and Service A137, which includes: A: Oil change 1: Tire rotation 3: Transmission fluid replacement 7: Brake fluid replacement Later that day, at approximately 3:25 p.m., I received a text message indicating that additional services were recommended following inspection. When I opened the link, it unexpectedly showed: "All services declined (1 of 1 services declined)." Assuming this could be clarified in person, I went back to the service center. Upon arrival, I was informed that my vehicle was still being serviced and that I needed to wait 10-15 minutes. After about 10 minutes, the Service Advisor presented me with a bill totaling $760.64. Knowing that the transmission service alone costs over $500, I paid the bill at the time without much thinking as I needed to pick up my kids. However, after reviewing the invoice carefully at home, I identified several concerning issues: 1. Unauthorized Add-On Services The invoice includes three additional services that I did not request and that are not part of Service A137: Premium engine oil condition ($50) Engine crankcase cleaning service ($50) Ethanol fuel system corrosion prevention kit ($75) 2. Incomplete Requested Services I do not see evidence that the following requested services were performed: Tire rotation (Code 1) Brake fluid replacement (Code 7) 3. Lack of Authorization Most importantly, I was never given the opportunity to approve or decline the additional recommended services. By the time I received the text message, it appears that decisions had already been made and services had already been initiated without my consent. I am very concerned about how these additional services were authorized and why the requested services were not fully completed. I contacted them on the same day and followed up again the next day. I was transferred to the service manager's voicemail and left a message. [Update] The service manager called me the next day and offered to do the tire rotation and brake fluid replacement free of charge.
