Words will never be able to express how much Samantha helped me with my wedding. I could not have done it without her! We checked out Longshadow back in November of 2011 for our wedding a year later. Longshadow is a beautiful venue, of course, but what absolutely sold us on the place, was Samantha. She was so sweet and SO WELCOMING! We never felt like we were being hussled. Coordinators at other venues can be so pushy and "salesy" which is such a turn off, but Samantha was nothing like that. She was so genuine, we had to get married where she was! For the entire year of planning, Samantha was there for me! No matter what I needed, she would try and help me as best she could. Any questions were answered, and phone calls or texts answered or returned right away. Heck, I even called her when I was freaking out about guests of horror, and she calmed me down! My own future hubby couldn't even do that! I really could not have survived the year of planning without her. As it got closer to the wedding, Samantha heard from me much more, and NEVER made me feel like I was bugging her. She helped me with vendors, gave me some great ideas (we served pies at our wedding thanks to her ingenious idea!) and let me bounce my own ideas off of her. She was not only a wedding coordinator, but a great friend! The day of the wedding, she was SUPERWOMAN! I do not know how she did it, but she managed to coordinate all of my vendors, bridal party, family, and STILL I felt like she was always next to me, asking how she could help me. She did so many little things for me, that I can never list all of them, but I will never forget! I could not have lived through my day without her. She made me wear a bib while drinking red wine before the ceremony (thank goodness because I ended up needing it,) made sure my photographer got all the shots I wanted, made sure all my songs were played, MADE SURE I ATE (huge help,) took me outside for a breather if I needed it, calmed down unruly guests, and ultimately made me feel like someone had my back that day! My sister in law just got married in Temecula this past Saturday at Europa Village. She hired Samantha as her wedding coordinator. I did not get to see Samantha until I came to the church where my sister in law had her ceremony. Samantha greeted my sister in law and helped her get to her little hiding place before the ceremony started so that no one would see her (Why ruin the surprise? That is what the grand entrance is for). Because Samantha was busy taking care of my sister in law, she did not introduce herself to me or the other bridesmaid. Throughout the day I did not really see Samantha, but I know that she was at the venue setting up decor and making sure everything was ready for the big party celebration. She had everything all set up by the time the bridal and groom party made their way to the reception venue (we were there early to take photos). Everything truly looked amazing. The only real time I interacted with Samantha was when she came up to me during dinner to show me where to stand for my matron of honor speech and that it is almost time to give it. Another time I interacted with her was when I was helping my sister in law change out of her wedding dress and wanting to change into a dress she had for the reception (right before she was going to cut the cake and thanking the guests for coming). My sister in law had a money dance during her reception. She wanted her guests to pin money to a sash (that I made) that she was wearing (instead of having it pinned to her dress) and also to the groom's suit. Unfortunately Samantha could not find the safety pins that she brought, but had a bag of safety pins as a back up. With little things like this, it is truly important for any bride not to have to worry about on her wedding day (as if the day itself isn't stressful enough). So after the money dance, I was helping my sister in law in her bridal suite and her husband. I was removing the money from the sash and the groom's suit and just started to place it in a box. But Samantha told me to remove the safety pins and give them back to her because she wanted them, which I thought was kind of odd because they were just safety pins and we were in a hurry to get the bride and groom back to the reception (since they had to give their thank you speech and cut the cake. Also Samantha did tell my sister in law that we were already 1.5 hours late on the schedule, so we really were rushing. My sister in law in the end decided to cut out a few things from the schedule that she had originally put together). I think Samantha did a great job at helping my sister in law with the wedding and grateful that she had back up safety pins for the money dance. She was good at directing my sister in law, but wished she kept her more on track with her schedule. When I got married, my wedding coordinator was excellent at keeping me on task with my schedule and when it was time for me to change into my next dress and so forth (I had 4 dress changes...yep, I was one of those girls). She even had a back up garter because I was not able to find the one I brought (but when the wedding was over, I found it, lol). She was very well organized and kept me at ease. So I really had expected the same level of service from Samantha. But in the end, my sister in law was happy with the way everything turned out, which makes me happy. So I am sure if you hire Samantha as your wedding coordinator, just be sure you let her know exactly what you want for your wedding day. read more

Sam is as good as it gets! I could have never expected to get the kind of treatment that we did in planning our wedding last year that she provided. Most brides, just walking into a venue is overwhelming...you want to make sure you pick the perfect place, and have all the perfect details, cause you are throwing a party for 130 of your closest friends and family... It's nuts! The minute I met Sam, I was put at ease. She has this way of knowing what you want to make your day perfect and gets all of your ideas! Every email i wrote to Sam, and every call I made she answered right away. She was the most hands on coordinator. My wife and I were overwhelmed throughout the wedding planning process and we couldn't have made it through if Samantha was not there with us. Samantha was a preferred vendor at our venue. She worked her behind off to be our liaison between our vendors and the venue. She was so instrumental in putting everything together from the beginning and we were always happy with her, but it was the actual wedding day that made us truly appreciate her professionalism. We had a large wedding with many moving parts and Sam kept everything flowing smoothly. The big day was a blur for us, but the thing that I do remember was that Samantha was everywhere and she really put together a memorable experience for our guests. Samantha is the best of the best! I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing she was leading up to our wedding and the day of! She truly is one of a kind. Samantha really knows how to put a bride at ease. A few weeks before the wedding I, or course, was getting frazzled by all of the details and all it took was one short talk with Samantha to put me at ease! She made me feel like I had absolutely nothing to worry about! On the day of my wedding she was a ROCK STAR! All I can say is THANK YOU! Samantha was my wedding coordinator for my July wedding...and she made it absolutely perfect! If it wasn't for her, who knows what would have happened. As the mom of the bride, I appreciated Samantha's services almost as much as my daughter and son-in-law! It goes without saying that she took such good care of them on their special day. But Samantha was also efficient and responded quickly whenever we had questions during the planning process. I have been dying to review Samantha because I have SO many good things to say, and when I realized today is my one month-a-versary, I figured it's about time! :) I could not have picked a better wedding coordinator. In fact, I was not even planning on having a wedding coordinator aside from the day of. As soon as I spoke to Samantha on the phone, all of that changed. I was moments away from faxing a signed contract to a venue I was not completely sold on when my sister in-law sent me a link to the Longshadow Ranch website, which I had already come across in my overly-lengthy venue search. I knew Longshadow Ranch was basically a perfect fit for us, but I also knew it was not in my budget if I wanted to provide all of the amenities I had planned on. But, given the unsettling feeling in my stomach regarding the other venue, I decided to send a quick e-mail explaining my budget, and sharing my love for the venue. Samantha e-mailed me back almost immediately, and told me to call her. BEST DECISION EVER. If you don't have time to read this lengthy review, please know these several things: Samantha is awesome, she is organized, she is honest and caring, and she is lovely. She won't BS you or make you feel like you can't have the wedding YOU want, she does everything in her power to make sure you DO have the wedding YOU want. Now I'm going to go into further detail, because I love her so much! Samantha is such a sincere person, for the first time since I began my wedding planning I felt like I was talking to someone who truly cared about what I wanted for my wedding rather than what add-ons she thought I should have, or how it wouldn't be a fairy tale wedding unless I had X, Y, and Z. She treated me as an individual, and didn't even mention what other brides were doing or what was recommended (like many, many other people were doing to me). I told her exactly what I wanted, she told me exactly how she could make that happen, and I decided almost instantaneously. Simple as that. Who knew? We live in Northern CA, so a lot of the communication was done via e-mail and phone. When my husband and I went down for Thanksgiving to visit (all of our family resides in Southern CA) Samantha suggested I check out the location to ensure I was going to make the right decision. Initially we were not going to meet up, but as we were on our way down to the winery, I received an e-mail from Samantha saying she would be there to show me around. I was already sold on both the location and her wedding services, but meeting her in person really made me feel like I was absolutely making the right decision. And my husband loved her! Samantha's all-inclusive wedding package included flowers, DJ, cake, and photography. Not only does she offer several choices within these categories of vendors,, but she customized the package to better fit the vendors I wanted. My husband and I had already planned to have our good friend's DJ the wedding, and we both loved the idea of having a photo booth at the reception. So what did Samantha do? Simply trade the DJ services for photo booth services, magic! In addition, as soon as I saw that Leah Marie (photography) was one of her vendors to choose from, I was extremely excited. That was proof enough for me that she didn't just work with any vendors. I LOVED Leah Marie's photos, and never imagined I would be able to afford her services. The vendors that Samantha uses all deserve their own outstanding reviews, but I want to emphasize that without Samantha I would not even have known of these vendors, nor be able to afford them the way I was through her package. A couple months before the wedding, Samantha arranged for us to come down to the venue and meet with each of our vendors individually. Did I mention I never even had to call any of them? She did ALL of the arranging, which is amazing and almost necessary when living 400 miles away from the location. But she didn't have to, she provided me with all of their contact information and she could have just left it up to me to meet with them if I had any questions or concerns. Instead she set up an agenda that included ample time to meet with each and every vendor. She was there for the times when I had an absolutely confused look on my face as to what I wanted (which was A LOT) to provide suggestions, but she was never pushy. It was as if she knew what I wanted without my clumsy attempts of describing it. I had no fears regarding the day of, I knew everything was going to be perfect because I trusted Samantha. And? My wedding was AMAZING. No joke, everyone said it. My (slightly tipsy) sister kept reiterating "BEST WEDDING EVER" all night. Did every little detail go right? Probably not. Did Samantha let on that it didn't? Absolutely not. Because all that mattered was that my husband and I had the experience we had on our wedding day.
