Do not book this DJ for your wedding…read more We are writing this review to protect other couples from the experience we had at our wedding. What follows is a factual account, corroborated by our wedding coordinator, venue staff (bartenders and food service), and approximately 90 of our wedding guests who witnessed these events firsthand. FROM THE MOMENT HE ARRIVED: Upon arrival, he immediately attempted to change the entire layout of our reception area -- a setup that had already been carefully planned by everyone involved -- because he felt his placement "would sound better." He insisted on positioning himself between the bride/groom table and our guests, and refused to adjust his own setup to accommodate the existing arrangement. His sound quality was notably poor -- multiple guests independently described it as muffled, as if the music was coming through a wall. After he left, the venue's standard backup Bluetooth speaker actually sounded better. He also plugged into an electrical outlet he had been explicitly told by our wedding coordinator not to use, and made a comment to our guests that he had driven three hours to be there while the venue was in his advertised service area -- completely unprofessional. FIRST DANCE: We provided our song list well in advance via email, which he confirmed and replied to with the full playlist. For our first dance, he began playing the song, stopped it, and announced over the microphone to our entire reception: "That's the short version, let me get the longer one." What followed was over a minute of complete silence while we stood in front of all of our guests. He then played a live/bootleg version of our song -- not the studio recording we had requested of a well-known, widely available James Taylor song. My spouse and I ended up singing our own first dance song ourselves. This moment is documented in photos, video, and the accounts of nearly every guest present. THROUGHOUT RECEPTION: -- He handed us a microphone for toasts at the wrong time, despite having the written itinerary, leaving us stunned and unprepared in front of our guests. -- After the best man and bridesmaid speeches, he left complete silence with no music and no direction, requiring us to intervene. -- There were multiple other silent gaps throughout the evening where no music was played and no effort was made to fill the void. -- During buffet, rather than calling tables one at a time as is standard practice, he released multiple tables simultaneously, and while other tables were still getting food creating a chaotic, crowded situation that numerous guests noted. -- Songs we had specifically requested -- confirmed in writing -- were not played until we forwarded him his own confirmation email during our reception. -- He was rude to our wedding coordinator and her staff, per her own written account. HIS RESPONSE TO OUR COMPLAINTS: When we emailed him with these concerns and requested a refund, he did not apologize or offer any resolution. Instead, he threatened us with civil legal action and advised us not to post reviews, suggesting it would be "defamation." Truthful reviews of a business are not defamation. We are posting this review so that no other couple has to experience what we did on one of the most important days of their lives. Our wedding coordinator has documented her concerns in writing and recommended we seek a refund. We have email confirmation of our song requests, a coordinator's written account, venue staff witnesses, and the accounts of nearly 100 wedding guests.

Most of all he catered to all different kinds of music and also play the requested playlist we were asking him to play. I'm very please with his service and will hire him again in our next event. Btw... the photo booth was a hit. Thank DJ Starchild/Orlando for a job well done!

We cannot say enough great things about Sara! Since our first phone call we felt like she…read moreunderstood what we wanted for our big day and instantly clicked. She is also so kind and patient which made the wedding planning process so much easier. My husband and I are shy people, and Sara made us feel so comfortable and natural at our engagement session. She knew when to let us be ourselves and when we needed guidance which we really appreciated. We were blown away by our wedding pictures and truly feel like she captured all of the emotions that we felt that day. She is great at capturing timeless photos and candids which are my favorites. Not only is she a gifted photographer, her organizational skills and professionalism were above and beyond! She responds to emails quickly and is always available for any questions. She reached out before our wedding day to confirm which group photos we wanted, and her timeline was perfect! The whole day ran smoothly and we're so happy to have beautiful pictures to remember our day!

My wife and I considered no fewer than 30 photographers before we finally chose who we were going…read moreto work with. The decision was the most time-consuming choice we made - every photographer had a unique style, and prices varied wildly. We were meticulous and judicious in whittling down our list of options, enumerating the pros and cons of each. At the time, I took pride in our rigor but in retrospect I find it laughable. I knew from the moment we added Wolfcrest to our list that Sara and her work was the best. In fact, it stood out so superior to our other considerations that to even think of pursuing her as our wedding photographer felt like a guilty luxury. Imagining our own memories framed through the lens of Sara's composition felt so indulgent that we were reluctant to even consider the possibility initially, and so we continued the 'process'. But when we finished our lengthy exercise, every pro and con enumerated, inevitably it only could have ever been Wolfcrest. Now, our photos read like a story book. Wolfcrest elevated our wedding's niche theme to an otherwordly romantic event. In these photos, my wife resembles a renaissance ideal of beauty. Looking at our photos now feels like the guilty pleasure I knew they would be the first time we saw what Sara can do. Thank you Sara.
