Can't overstate how much we enjoyed working with Sean. He was truly a professional in every way: communicative, proactive, kind, and calming. My husband and I only booked friend recommendations for our wedding vendors so we were hesitant to book Wedlock Cinema because we did not know them personally. However, we were very pleasantly surprised at how comfortable we were with Sean right from the start. He is very flexible and very personable and easy to get along with. We are a COVID wedding couple so you can only imagine the uncertainty we had, we had to change venues to completely different cities in completely different areas and Sean happily agreed to still film our wedding. Due to some challenges my fiance (now hubby) and I were facing with planning a typical wedding thanks to COVID-19, we decided to cut the planning short and pivoted by planning a luxury elopement ceremony instead. We decided to head up to Napa, one of our happy places, and booked the Elopement Package at the Carneros Resort, which is such a beautiful location. The wedding package including photography, but not videography. We then reached out to our photographer, who came highly recommended by the wedding planner at the property, to provide some of her recommendations on videographers in the Napa area. She then provided me with Wedlock Cinema and another videographer that she has worked with in the past. I also did my research on yelp and reached out to a few other people. Always have to do your due diligence, people! Sean at Wedlock was the quickest to respond, the most detailed with his services, had the most inclusions and was able to work with me on pricing, something that I really appreciate. Due to the raging Napa County fires going on, I was hesitant on booking another vendor that could potentially be cancelled / would not be able to return my deposit, if the event was cancelled either due to Covid related reasons or the fire, and Sean was super accommodating by allowing me to put his contract on hold while we waited a bit to see if the ceremony would still be able to go on. Low and behold, we were able to proceed with signing the contract and officially booked Sean for his amazing videography services. Sean showed up to the hotel on my wedding day right on time, immediately got set up, cracked some funny jokes while filming me getting my make-up done, which put me at ease, and did his thing. He was super professional, charismatic and made both me and my hubby feel like superstars. I am not one to give baseless or unwarranted compliments, but HOLY MOLY, Sean is freaking amazing! Typically, videographers can take up to 3 months to deliver the final product to you, but guess what?...He literally got our final film back to us in like one week! What a dream, especially for someone like me who is extremely impatient. The final product was AMAZING, and let me tell you, I am quite the picky one. I had one requested change, and he stayed up super late to make the adjustment and had the edited version back to us in a few hours. I would HIGHLY recommend using WEDLOCK CINEMA for your wedding. And if you are hesitant on having a wedding video, don't be. You will regret not paying the extra $ in the long run. By choosing Wedlock, you will get someone who is very responsive to emails and phone calls, someone who has reasonable pricing, someone who will take your wedding very seriously, and someone who will deliver a high-quality product with minimal wait times (as long as they are not overly busy, I presume). Due to covid, I had a very small wedding with immediate family only in California followed by a (somewhat) bigger reception with more family back in my hometown the following weekend. Sean did videography for our wedding and was super accommodating and great to work with. You can tell that he cares about his work. He managed a rapid turn around on the video so that we could share our vows and wedding day with our family who couldn't be there in person. The video was a hit with my family! What an absolute gift to have had Wedlock Cinema capture and produce our wedding films! One of the consistent pieces of advice I kept getting during wedding planning was that we should hire a videographer- those who hadn't regretted it and those who had said they were so happy to have actual footage from a day that is inevitably one huge blur. Despite this, I waited until only a few months before the big day to start reaching out to videographers (procrastinator!), and since I'm picky and can't stand cheesy wedding stuff I didn't find many options that I was excited about. I contacted one company who said they were booked for our date but who recommended that I try Wedlock Cinema because he liked their work. Sean was incredibly responsive, and informed me that I had gotten really lucky as that date had been booked but then cancelled! He did already have a potential other couple who were trying to book the same day as well, but promised that either he or a colleague could be available to film our wedding. As it turns out (because his work is awesome) the other couple did indeed book their services as well, so Sean informed me way ahead of time that his colleague would be sent to do the filming, though Sean would still be creating the films. His collegue, Stefan, was a pleasure to work with and he stayed until the very end of the wedding, even capturing the last dance of the night! Also, Sean went the extra mile, and even though he had another wedding that day he made time to fly his drone over our venue to get some aerial footage to include in our films. Not long after our wedding day, as others had warned me, the details of the day got blurry and I got more and more anxious to see the films, wondering if it was possible that they could truly capture all the magic! Somehow, even without being there for the actual day, Sean managed to create the most magnificent films (both a highlight reel and long form that included the ceremony) that reminded me of so many special details of that day that I'd forgotten. While a lot of wedding videos make me cringe (cheesy music, awkward posing and direction), I really can't believe that Sean was able to create such a classic look for ours. He integrated thoughtful sound bites of our vows and speeches, and picked the perfect music. We are so, so thrilled that we will have these films to cherish for the many years to come.
