Management at Weekend Paradise is extremely unprofessional and unsafe. They openly speak poorly about residents to other residents, sharing personal and private information that should never be disclosed. They will divulge information about current residents to anyone who calls, regardless of whether that person has any right to that information. Illegal activity is ignored and covered up by management. If someone dislikes you and feeds management false information, it is taken as fact. You are then issued a 30-day eviction with no explanation. When you ask why, management claims they are "not at liberty to discuss it with you," yet they have no problem discussing your personal business with a stalker who calls the office asking questions about you. This created an extremely unsafe situation for me and my family. The behavior from management is childish and aggressive. Screaming matches with residents are common, followed by management gossiping about those residents to others in the park. We should never know who is being evicted or taken to court unless the resident chooses to share that themselves. On top of all of this, the constant sewage smell, overwhelming flies, and overall discomfort make this place unbearable to live in. This park lacks professionalism, safety, privacy, and basic human decency. I do not recommend Weekend Paradise to anyone. read more

A great place to visit with it's own private beach. There is a two lane boat launch. Wade and Tom are great. Everyone is really nice. Good atmosphere along with a nice beach. On January 1 every year the park hosts drag boat racing. read more

My family and I recently purchased our first trailer, a 2016 Springdale, and were looking for a quick getaway. I stumbled upon Weekend Paradise through a post on another RV resorts review, so I looked more into WP. All the reviews were great, so we decided to give it a shot. I called and set up our reservation with Wade. I mentioned to Wade that this was our first trip out and would require a little help with parking our rig. Wade was great; he helped us with everything and made us feel very welcome. Wade is one of the nicest people you'll meet, hands down. The RV spots themselves have full hookups and are back in only. We had a great spot and had a beautiful view of the lake. I recommend this place to anyone looking to tent camp, RV camp, launch their boat, or just have a lake beach day. read more

He really didn't have room for me but said just show up, I will find room for you. Wade, the parks guests and tenants immediately took me in as family. Best place to be. Friendly and fun for the whole family. This is the number one place to camp and relax. It's a clean and peaceful feeling. They have friendly staff as well as amazing tenants that are simple as helpful as can be. My fiancé and I absolutely love it. We have been staying here in our travel trailer and it has been the best experience that we have ever had. We've been here for two months now and I wouldn't want it any other way. My family has came here for day-trips to the lake for years now. You can launch a trailer (jet skis / boats) as well as park near the water and set up pop-up. It can get busy though, so come early or plan between holidays. The place has a trailer park feel to it as well, as the front portion is for long-term RV/trailer hookups. I wouldn't come here to stay as an RV resort, but I am ok with using their beach for a day at the lake! read more

As a gal from the PNW who had kiddie summers in Michigan - I have a pretty high bar set for lakes in general, campgrounds too! SoCal, with our drought and population, just can't compete with wide open spaces or sparkling glacier feed waters of my hometown/youth. This campground and RV park is a hidden gem though - and I got that campfire smell all up in my hair over the weekend when we stopped in to crash our pal's Memorial Weekend fest. They had rented a pontoon boat (It broke, but they had a good time regardless) and we waited ashore for them to get maintenance then return. The lake is a decent size, but blooms green with alge. When we arrived it looked just like a trailer park at first - but past the clubhouse is a sandy camping grounds, with fire-pits and right on the waterfront. The owner/ manager was very sweet and helpful. We gave the name of our friends and he pointed us right to their spot. No charge for an additional car and he didn't give us a hard time cause they weren't there yet. It's so nice to not get nickled and dimed for once. (like parking at Torrey Pines for instance, gawddamn!) The spots are large enough to set up a tent and park your truck and boat or a couple cars. There is a store nearby that sells essentials and wood, etc. As of right now (End of May) you can still have a fire. All the families and people around were nice enough. Dogs A-ok on a leash. If you're hunting for a place to pitch your tent and you need to stay local this should fit your needs for a night or two. read more

Had a great Memorial Day weekend with my family here. The owner was very kind and welcoming to everybody at the camping site. Didn't have any problems with the other families over space like in other camp sites. Everybody is jus there to spend a good time with their family and friends. Taking one star away because the sheriffs that patrol the lake in their boats are very strict and rude. read more

I lived in Lake Elsinore years ago and I can't believe how much it's grown. I stopped at the Weekend Paradise to visit my cousin who is staying there and it was great. Everyone gathers on the porch for free coffee, make fun of those who look like they had a rough night (all in fun). People are extremely friendly. It's clean and looks nice. I would stay here before I'd stay at a hotel, and I am NOT a camping type. The people here just make you want to be. read more

The only thing worse than lake Elsinore is this place if you love getting stuck in the sand or having to put your truck half way into the lake to launch a boat or ski come here, people who own this place are horrible too, I can't recommend this place at all, do all your self a huge favor look somewhere else. We actually just left there. The place was wonderful. Super friendly people. Wade, the owner, was really nice and very accommodating. We really enjoyed the place. I was a bit disappointed that the water wasn't as clean but people seems to enjoy it anyway. It was nice in general. Despite it being a rainy weekend we had a great time! Wade the location Owner/Host is very inviting and helpful. We have a 28ft RV and we were set up in the beach area of the park. Hookups are also available for RV's, but being that we were only there for the one day we found we would like to be closer to the lake than having water and electricity. Anyhow, my children are 3 and 1, they enjoyed making sand castles, playing in the rain. The location has a jungle gym, a volleyball court, a meeting hall. The night we were there they were hosting a Michael Jackson theme party with Karaoke. It was an event to donate and collect clothes for the less fortunate. Once the sun went down (daylight) and it stopped raining other families started arriving. They set up camp (tents) two spaces down from us. No problem, they came over introduced themselves, started a small campfire and did their thing. One thing I will say is that if you are looking for a quiet place after 10pm. This is NOT the place for you!!! Don't get me wrong...it not crazy or chaotic. But campers continue with conversations. The meeting hall is going strong and music can be heard from other campsites. This didn't bother us since we can get kind of loud at times too. My children didn't have a problem falling a sleep they were exhausted by 8pm and were out! Overall, it was great! We have already reserved our spaces for Labor Day Weekend! read more
