They will divulge information about current residents to anyone who calls, regardless of whether that person has any right to that information. Illegal activity is ignored and covered up by management. If someone dislikes you and feeds management false information, it is taken as fact. You are then issued a 30-day eviction with no explanation. When you ask why, management claims they are "not at liberty to discuss it with you," yet they have no problem discussing your personal business with a stalker who calls the office asking questions about you. This created an extremely unsafe situation for me and my family. The behavior from management is childish and aggressive. Screaming matches with residents are common, followed by management gossiping about those residents to others in the park. We should never know who is being evicted or taken to court unless the resident chooses to share that themselves. On top of all of this, the constant sewage smell, overwhelming flies, and overall discomfort make this place unbearable to live in. This park lacks professionalism, safety, privacy, and basic human decency. I do not recommend Weekend Paradise to anyone.

After we signed the contract and paid our deposit, they told us that they would not honor our contract because they double booked for our date. They offered us solutions, but none of which included them providing us the lodging we had signed a contract for. They offered to put our guests up in a Holiday Inn nearby. We had booked 7 of the 8 airstreams and would have needed the date we booked to prepare for the wedding. We also placed value on having our guests stay where we were going to get married. What really frustrated us is they actually asked us to pay to change our lodgings. They offered us the Elsinore Yurt for $200 extra dollars, which honestly was very frustrating because they asked us to pay extra when they broke the contract. They told us this was the only place available the day of our wedding for us to be prior to the ceremony, when we had originally paid for over 24 hours to prepare. They did offer to simply refund us what we paid on the Airstreams and we could keep our wedding date. Throughout our conversations, they told us the Yurts were only available in 2 day blocks. However, we looked up alternate accommodations on Air BNB and found the same Yurt they wanted to charge us $200 for for about $100 on Air BNB for only 1 day! Also, Yurts they told us were unavailable for our guests on the original night we signed a contract with them for, were available on Air BNB for half the price they quoted us and for only 1 day. I cannot imagine how a double booking can occur without extreme lack of professionalism in these days of computers. We were very sad because we planned to be lifelong customers of this place and bring our family here for decades. They essentially ruined our plans for our wedding and we are still scrambling, and I believe they lied to us, although they deny it. The only other option is that the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. I do not recommend this place and feel they are a bad business that is trying upcharge people who are looking for a lower cost wedding. We also believe that if we had tried to break the contract (like they did to us after we signed it and paid) they would have taken legal action against us or fined us, as their contract made clear. We did get a refund. Their on site restaurant wasn't good either.

I'm a 25 year-old female and lived alone with my small dog. I always felt safe in this park and the neighbors were so friendly, often lending gardening equipment, helping me put up tarps, catching my dog when he ran out, and having the occasional BBQ. Chuck the park manager is always kind, helpful, and works very hard, he's often the only person working onsite. So if you knock on the door and he's not there, call his cell and he will pause what he's doing and come to the office to help you. This park is also one of the few parks in the area that doesn't have a cap on the year of your RV/Trailer to live here. As long as your vehicle looks good and well-kept on the outside, it'll be accepted. The only reason I'm leaving is because I'm moving out of state for work. Chuck was very helpful with organizing the paperwork to transfer my trailer from my living space to their storage onsite. My experience was beyond convenient and I would 100% live here again if I return to California.

Traffic was bad, we started late, and I was tired and getting hangry. Right about that time, signs were pointing towards an exit to Lake Elsinore - what a treat. The town was decorated for the Christmas holiday and Main Street was all aglow, as if Hallmark just wrapped the latest "Big-city-girl-meets-small-town-Christmas-tree-lot-owner" love story. After a delicious meal at MSKT(Main Street Kitchen & Tap - separate review), we took a stroll and enjoyed the glow, and a bit of history, of Lake Elsinore. This easy walk through town ended about 30 minutes later, but left me wanting to return, perhaps to see the famous poppies in Spring, but more to look into some of the shops we gazed through the windows of during these "after" hours. The folks we met were welcoming and encouraged us to spend a staycation checking out more local history and the many activities of the area. If the festive lights and decorations of December are any clue, then I'm sure this town is worth some extra time and I look forward to returning. Cheers!

However, when push comes to shove, Lake Elsinore is a nice place to visit. I love the local MiLB team The Storm, the lake is super pretty, and I like the cool little eateries. Would I live here? No, it's got an underbelly of racism and other bigoted opinions that I don't like. It's a work in progress but people have a long way to go in educating themselves about other people, cultures and backgrounds. Thankfully the Storm is very inclusive! LEUSD is fine, it's a poorer school district. Some of the schools are fantastic! What about the lake? The beach is nice, but it's strongly recommended by locals not to swim in it due to toxicity levels. You can still take a nice boat ride! I went during the Annual Water Lantern Festival and had a beautiful time! Is LE growing? Yes! But not as fast as some other suburban areas like Murrieta or Menifee. LE does have a theater, Costco, bowling alley, and new area where plenty of eateries can be found. However, don't expect to find too much to do. The Storm baseball team is a plus but they're not around all year obviously.
