Dishonest, unprofessional and scattered company. Summary: Horrifically difficult to get in contact with. They bounced 4 checks sent back with our security deposit and it took 5 months to get our deposit back. Rented this home with 3 other military members for over a year. During the original leasing process everyone in the company was incredibly difficult to get in contact with. They don't return phone calls or emails. The only reason this company doesn't get 1 star is that they left us alone for the duration of our stay. We were model tenants and when we moved out they assessed that we would receive our full security deposit back. The first check took 3 months to arrive after the date we vacated. All 4 checks they sent to us bounced... When we called to ask why that happened everyone at the company had no idea what we were talking about and insisted that it was the banks fault and not theirs. After this first bounced check we waited an additional month before calling again asking where our refund was and they were very rude and said they were working on getting the checks. 20 days after that phone call we all received our checks and they finally cleared. Currently still trying to get reimbursed for the bounced check fees we all incurred for their first bad checks. I have very little hope that these criminals will make any motions to reimburse us. I in no way would recommend this company to anyone and I hope they go out of business soon. Disgraceful service. read more

We rented from Weeks for the past four years. We never had a problem with them. They were quick to address problems. Ann Ross was always very understanding and went above and beyond to help us. Received our deposit in a very timely manner. We actually miss them and our old rental! Would have no problem doing business with them again. read more

We're an active duty military family. I CANNOT say enough bad things about this company. They are horribly run and very underhanded. Seriously, stay away, it is not worth it. Now our story, we moved into our rental home January 2014, after being told they would do an initial walk through inspection, and change the locks. No one showed up to do either. After I called to remind them they sent me a walk through sheet to mail back and never sent anyone to change the locks. I tried to be understanding and made a point to be very thorough on our walk through sheet that I mailed in. The house was left to us infested with mice and filthy. They did call the exterminator, once. We ended up taking care of the mice problem ourselves because no one was ever sent out again. Once that was taken care of things went fine until we needed to move out under military orders. We left the house spotless, cleaned all the windows, baseboards closets bathrooms, everything was cleaned from top to bottom. Further, they wrongly instructed the oncoming tenants to move in the same day we were moving out. This resulted in a huge mess, including an incident where the oncoming tenants confronted us. The new tenants moved in less than 4 hours after we left meaning that the carpets were still wet from the professional cleaning. Shortly after we left the state we received a notice telling us that Weeks Realty was keeping our deposit for cleaning and lawn service fees. We confirmed with the new tenants no cleaning or lawn service was ever done. We moved out in August 2014, and now in November 2014 we STILL have not been paid back our deposit. The only thing that these people seem to respond too is legal action, and that is what we have had to resort to. THREE YEARS IN A ROW I have been sent their annual inspection notice to my home address where there is no USPS receptacle even though I repeatedly give them (Lisa Weeks) the correct information. I was called yesterday and informed someone would be IN MY HOME for a walk- through SOME TIME in the next FOUR DAYS anywhere between 7 am and late evening. When I called to request a more reasonable window so I could be present while SOMEONE I HAD NEVER MET wandered around my home I was accused of being rude in a follow up call from Madame Weeks this morning. She said in an incredulous and somewhat accusatory tone "you mean you do not have a mailbox at your house"? Everyone I spoke to at Weeks Realty reminded me that they have *gasp* 300 rentals to inspect annually, which indicates to me the need for more employees if they are unable to provide reasonable, attentive and respectful service. My husband works at night & was nearly in what could have become a tragic situation when, two years ago a Weeks Realty employee meandered in (notice was mailed to my home address, not PO Box) for the inspection. PLEASE, for the sake of your sanity and the condition of your property, run quickly away from Weeks Realty. Lisa Weeks states she has over 200+ properties she manages as if that's a good thing. Red flag number 1: A devoted property manager would keep her clientele within a manageable number. 200+ is about 150 too many. Perhaps with fewer homes OR more help, this business would be more successful, BUT that's still doubtful given the people running this business. Red flag number 2: communication is absolutely ZERO!! Her sister, Ann, is supposed to help cover the management aspect yet neither one EVER communicate anything. It's like pulling teeth to get an issue resolved and nine times out of ten, when we follow up to see if the problem is solved, we're met with a resounding 'huh?' as if they are confused. It takes several phone calls and emails to get any kind of response back. Red flag number 3: you have to hire a lawyer to do the job of what your property manager is supposed to do. NOT ACCEPTABLE!! Red flag number 4: you finally obtain keys to your home you are returning to, only to find that all hardware has been replaced by cheap hardware, ceiling fan is missing, the house appears to not have been cleaned at all by the vacating tenant, your custom landscaping has been destroyed by tenants to the tune of $15,000 in damages and that Weeks Realty response is that we as homeowners, are being unreasonable and can't expect them to always be at our house to make sure it's ok....W.O.W. Red flag number 5: you realize you've not only been duped by a craptastic tenant, but that your property manager crapped all over you as well. Buyer beware.....DO NOT RENT/LEASE/BUY/PROPERTY MANAGE from Lisa Weeks and her sister Ann Ross. In regards to points 2 & 3, the HOA was on us several times over violations we had no control over while living in Virginia Beach yet we were reassured by Lisa/Ann that things were under control...the REASON we were paying them. But in the end, NOTHING was under control & we were met with heavy HOA fines. Point 3....had to hire a lawyer to help get rid of a tenant, to Lisa's hesitation. It almost felt like Lisa was protecting the tenant...that they were old friends. She reassured us more than once that she knew what she was doing and to let her do her job....FAILURE!!!! Thank god we popped for the attorney which made things go from dragging for 3-4 months (Lisa) to actual results in less than 5 days (lawyer). Sad to say, but if you need a good real estate lawyer in the NW Florida Panhandle, I can recommend. Follow up....we are STILL paying for the mis-management of our home from 3 years ago. The name on the sign of Weeks Realty on Highway 90 has since changed within the past month or so. I'll post the new name once I drive by. Follow up soon. They will withhold rent money, will be dishonest with you, will not uphold their contractual agreement, will not evict tenants and will place previous tenants with trouble paying rent into your home. I was lucky and had a Navy family move in for three years. They paid rent on time and kept my house in great condition. Weeks had it easy; all they had to do was relax as the money rolled in. My second tenant was the exact opposite and was a complete nightmare. The tenant moved in on January of 2015. From January to April my rent was a couple of days late but I did receive it. Fast forward to November, I look in my account and I have not received $7,000.00 of rent. I call Ann Ross and she explains that the electronic transfer did not go through. It took them until January of 2016 to deposit half of the money. I was then informed the tenant had not paid the other four months of rent yet and he was waiting for his tax return. Weeks realty did not file for eviction and could not provide me a reason why even after I asked them to do so several times. I did receive the rest of the monies owed in February but did not receive rent for February. From February to July the tenant was late paying rent. Weeks received the money around the 15th of each month from Feb-July, at best. Weeks did not once file for eviction throughout this time period. On top of this, Weeks allowed the tenant to sign a new lease without my approval in January when he was behind at least 5 months of rent and did not pay any late fees. I was finally able to convince Ann Ross to file for eviction in June when he owed May and Junes rent. Ann blatantly lied to me twice and said she filed for eviction at the courthouse. I called the courthouse on five different occasions and the paperwork was never turned into them. Ann refused to answer any form of communication at the end of June. I was now talking to Lisa Weeks. Lisa was able to get the tenant to move out and nullify his lease. The problem now is the condition on my home. I was informed numerous times by Ann that the property was "immaculate". This is not the case at all, the carpets are destroyed, holes in the wall, yard was not mowed for at least two months... When you turn your home over to Weeks it had to be professionally cleaned which I paid for. When the tenant moved out, Lisa and Ann (who are not professional) attempted to clean my house. The total cost for me to make my home livable was around $2000. Come to find out Weeks paid the tenants last two months of rent and found him another place to live that is managed by Weeks. Why would Weeks put someone else through this knowing that the tenant would not pay rent? Unfortunately someone else is going to have to go through this. read more

We as renters are being sued for over 5000 dollars by the Home owner DAVID PAYNE because of negligence of Weeks Realty for not listing the property appropriately. We had to end our contract 3 months early, they did not follow up on leads delayed in listing it. We checked.We were ask to place a lock box outside and leave the key. I have three inquiries I listed ads on Craigslist spent hours and days with these individuals they came forward and ask why their calls were not being returned they really wanted to rent the town home, not to mention the loss of our deposit, cleaning fee which the place smelled and looked way better than before we moved in. We paid to have the town house professionally cleaned my dad got sick went into the hospital normally I would have got it rented myself. I had to leave explained all this but it fell on deaf ears.
