For years Wegmans has been my favorite grocery store. Shopping there now is good preparation for The socialism and Marxism that sweeping our country. Nice store, they have beautiful looking pre made meals but way too pricey!!!! (For those prices I'd go to a restaurant and skip the mess!) branded packaged products had very good prices cheaper than other local stores in many cases, took a shot on some store branded products which were delicious (Frozen pizza) bought their brand paper towels which were cheap and of excellent quality.... definitely worth a visit, checkout was performed predominantly by senior males (checkout took 3 years and two days) however it was nice to see Wegmans does not age discriminate and I applaud them for it, reminds me of Florida seeing seniors working in service. What can I say about Wegmans, the best grocery store ever! I have been in several during my days of living up north but this one here by far was the best! I watch the staff help people find things, very pleasant and smiling and the store was very clean and very very well-stocked. Alright. I have officially been converted to a Wegman's fan. I've been here a few times prior to the pandemic (this location and others) and just thought it was okay. My fiance always raved about how much he loved Wegman's (yup, this is what happens when you're 30+. You have a favorite supermarket). My first impression was that most of their items were more expensive than regular supermarkets. But maybe I was just looking for the wrong items. Since the pandemic, we've been frequenting Wegman's a lot more than before and I've found that this is actually the opposite. The prices of their produce and meat are comparable to a typical supermarket's sale prices. For the meat, you can definitely save a few bucks in the long run if you just buy the family packs and freeze what you can't use. The produce is usually pretty fresh. And don't get me started on the Wegman's brand line of products. Most of everything I've tried from the Wegman's brand is great quality and significantly cheaper. I love their sliced/shredded cheeses because it tastes great, lasts for a while, so I usually just stock up on a few to keep in my fridge. Their 12-pack of seltzer is only $2.99 and although the 'unique' flavored ones are not great (avoid Dragonberry, whatever you do), you can't go wrong with plain, lemon, or lime. There's also a sandwich corner where you can get sandwiches made to order (my favorite is the chicken tender sammie). I'm not sure if it's open now because of Covid but it was our favorite stop to pick up a sammie before hitting the beach, pre-Covid. On top of the great supermarket deals, there's also a liquor store connected that sells a variety of $6 bottles of wine. I haven't tried all of them but out of the ones I have, it seems like it's hit or miss. But hey, it's $6! As for social distancing measures - the first couple of times we came (usually a Saturday at around 9), there would be a line wrapped around and maybe about a half hour wait. But since July or so, there hasn't been a line. It is a bit more crowded now (as of August) but at least everyone has to wear a mask per the state's mandate. We only come here once a month since it's a 40-minute drive, but it's worth the trip. Also, shoutout to the fact that they were the only ones out of all the stores we've been to, who had flour in stock at the beginning of the pandemic, when everyone (including ourselves) was trying to bake sourdough bread. read more

I have pretty high expectations when I enter a Wegmans. There's reasons they are considered one of the best grocery store chains by many. This store delivered, and then some, especially for quality, organization, availability, appeal, etc.. I don't shop in New Jersey enough to know what are considered competitive versus high prices, but I were living or regularly shopping down here, I would be comfortable buying groceries here, especially the produce. This store is just one more reason for me to be disappointed that we'll probably never get a Wegmans in the mid-Hudson Valley. read more

I miss going to Wegman. I forgot how much fun it is. To me it feels like a real international food show. You walk around looking and your excitement started to build up. You imagine tasting everything you see and pairing it with your favorite drink and company. With every corner you turn is another amazing experience with many different culture food. I'm one who loves to eat different food all the time. All the while the friendly employees are saying hello. The food court is spectacular. One of the easiest reviews for me. Wegmans is the greatest grocery store of all time. I go to Wegmans easily 2-3 times a week and most of the time I don't even need anything but end up leaving with a full cart. I know I know I know, a lot of people say it's a confusing place to navigate but with the app or even after visiting a couple of times you'll be a Wegmans expert. Anyway, I've digressed. In my opinion, Wegmans has the best store brand quality of items in comparison to all major grocers. Golden Grahams is my favorite cereal but I actually prefer the Wegmans brand version for example. I'm rambling because I get excited about Wegmans. Let's get back to the review. They are a clean store with people usually available to help you and even stop what they are doing to go check the warehouse for your item if you don't see it on the shelves. Again, I can't think of a store I'd rather go to for my groceries. I try not to recommend them too much because I don't want everyone taking over my store buuuut for the sake of Yelp I am going to recommend Wegmans to everyone whose eyes this review comes across. Wegmans is my favorite supermarket to go to. They always have enough registers so your idle time isn't so long. They know how to bag your things and they are super friendly!! There aren't mean looking people like other supermarkets I've been too. The produce on some days are scarce and some days they are stocked up. I'm still trying to figure that out. The meat section needs more stocking up. Some days there aren't any ground meat. And they need to stock up their eggs too. I love the family value egg packs but they never have any. I love that they have an organic section and the food court. Their wegmans brand isn't bad at all. They taste just as good as the other brands. Have you ever looked UP at Wegmans? The dust balls are disgusting! You can really see the filth if you go upstairs. Food and dust bunnies are not appetizing. I love Wegman's, I'm so bummed the closest one is 40+ minutes from me. First off, everyone is so friendly in here, both Wegmans employees and even the people shopping. People are actually excited to be food shopping, it's almost strange! Secondly, their selection of foods is insane and the food they make on site is spectacular! I had the best veggie burger of my life from Wegmans. So good. I came on a Sunday and although the store was packed, everyone was happily shopping and there were awesome demos setup around the entire store. Their private label products are super high end and always highly regarded. What a great shopping experience, I could have spent hours in the store! Clean store and the pricing is great too. I along with everyone else LOVE WEGMANS. Seriously, I live closer to Shoprite but I go out of my way to come to Wegmans. I first started coming here when I was trying out Veganism. They have all the major vegan brands and products. There is a large variety of items and brands. The other thing is that they label all their Wegmans brand products as low fat, vegan, heart healthy, etc. Now I primarily come because the wegmans store brands, which are Wegmans and TopCare, are amazing. Honestly, everything from hand soap to cat food. They quality is excellent and very affordable. My gripes, the check out lanes are really narrow! Try to get in the handicap lane if you can. Also, their items are never on sale. HOWEVER, they're always reasonably priced so it really doesn't matter. read more

Finally, I stopped in a Wegman's. This place is located in a shopping center accrose from Lowes. There's plenty of parking available and I must say I'm impressed with their hot selection of meals at the cafe. They have pizzas, subs, sushi, rotisserie chicken, fried chicken, and Asian cuisine, and more. There is a few tables and seating on the first floor and steps to the second floor, with many more seatings occupancy. You can even purchase the cold meals. They have microwaves so you can heat it and sit there to dine. The condiments and utensils are available on both floors. The place is clean and not as busy as ShopRite but their prices of fresh produce is slightly more expensive. They also a several aisles of organic produce and I must say those prices are definitely less than your local whole foods. Overall, I'm so glad to try Wegman's and I may come shop here more often as Shoprite is way too busy everyday. read more

10 stars. 50 stars. Like... 30,000 fucking stars. Wegmans is to food what I imagine Jesus is to Christianity. Although I don't know much about that. I'm not a Christian. Still, like any man of faith my strongest belief is that Wegmans is the most amazing place in the world. Better than Disneyland. Better than the Red Light District in Amsterdam. Instead of thrill rides and giant stuffed animals or hookers and coke you can get high on their amazing sandwiches (oh man, the breads they bake...) and pay strangers to help you achieve an endorphin rush. The Woodbridge location is not the Wegmans location where I have the fondest memories. That would be the one in Allentown. But Woodbridge will always hold a special place in my heart. Why, you ask? How's this for an answer: My mother told me that she decided to buy a cemetery plot across the street because she knows if she's buried next to a Wegmans I'll have a reason to visit her. Insane. I love Wegmans! I wish there was on closer to me but I come here whenever I am in the area, and even drive the 20+ minutes to this location at times. What I love about Wegmans is that they have all the brands you know and love as well as their own awesome self-labeled stuff. The prepared foods, olive bar, deli meats, hot food bar, and ready to cook meals (like marinated salmon, etc.) are all excellent. Prices are pretty good overall; I would say about the same or better than other stores. Some things I love here: -the Mediterranean bar (so many options of olives, tomatoes, cheese, etc.) -whole wheat pizza crust (not the raw dough but the already cooked one; by far the best crust I have found anywhere) -sliders (salmon and bacon cheddar are both really tasty) -bags of apples (really fresh and they last a long time) -frozen salmon fillets (very convenient and great price) -sushi (really good and freshly made) -bread (although some of their bread has high fructose corn syrup which is definitely unnecessary) The desserts also look super delicious. I have never tried them, except once when someone got me a birthday cake from here (which was amazing). There are some issues. The meat/butcher selection could definitely be better. I was looking to buy some lamb for a stew and could not find anything that I could use. I wish they had more options for tortillas and a few other things that I normally buy and end up going to other stores for. The store is always ridiculously crowded, even during the day on weekdays and at weird times when other stores are not crowded. The organization of the store is also kind of weird and it is massive so it can make it hard to navigate. Despite the issues noted, I do love Wegmans. I think the Princeton and Manalapan locations are a better for various reasons, particularly in terms of how they are laid out. Those are not convenient for me usually though so this is generally a good compromise. read more

As far as I'm concerned Wegmans can do no wrong. And this location in Woodbridge is just as fabulous as many of the other locations throughout the north east: + Large bakery with donuts, bagels, cookies and freshly baked breads. Try the Garlic Tuscan Bread... it's my absolute favorite. + Excellent selection of meats and cheeses in the deli. I love a grocery store that pre-slices and packages items from the deli so you don't have to wait in line. So smart! And Wegs has a variety already packaged - several types of ham, turkey, Swiss, American, provolone! + Well organized and wide aisles. We were able to find everything we wanted without bumping into carts. - Lack of a bulk candy section. This was probably the only negative I could come up with. There was only a handful of candy to choose from... compared to other stores in Upstate NY this was pitiful! + But Woodbridge more than makes up for the lack of candy with its huge bonus liqour/wine/beer store attached next door. Whatever it is that you need they probably have it. Note - you have to purchase all alcohol in the liquor store portion... cannot bring into the grocery store. ++ And all at an excellent price. Usually I have to wait for family packs of chicken to go on sale at Stop & Shop or Pathmark in BK... at Wegs they're always on sale. Jumbo bottles of my favorite refreshingly sweet wine at my local shop are $12.99... at Wegmans I got them for $8. Until Wegs comes to BK next year this is the closest location, so best believe I'll be stopping in during all future road trip to New Jerz. read more

If you've been to other Wegmans, this one is no better or worse. But I love Wegmans. So if you've never been, this review is for you! I went to school in western New York, so I had many years of experience. Large selection of pretty much anything you could ever need. Bakery, fresh breads, meats, cheese, etc. Their cafe area offers by-the-pound wings, hot and cold food. But the real star of the show is the sub shoppe. Get a Danny's favorite. Something about the bread and the way they stack cold cuts in some sort of perfect balance makes this the best sub ever. My friends went to get baby food for their 1-year old, and commented that the prices were cheaper than even Target. Granted, we were in New Jersey and they live in Brooklyn, but still noteworthy. Best grocery out there. Don't talk to me about Publix, Whole Foods, or any others. read more

Wegman's is a great store with an emphasis on very helpful and good natured emplyees. I have yet to run into a crabby worker there like so many other places. My only complaints are 1. The so called speedy check-out lines will accept "cards only", no cash and 2. Wegman's for some reason, has decreased most of the bulk candy it once offered. No more mini jelly beans , no more cinnamon jelly beans and many more varieties of candy are no longer available. The bakery is excellent and the rest of the store is awesome. read more

Love Wegman's! The scallops are really sweet-- got the recipe from the scallop man at Wegman's. The Wegman's pan searing flour makes scallops and other fish really delicious. The produce at Wegman's is excellent quality and fresh too. They will refund your money if you are not happy with anything you purchased. One of my favorite places to do grocery shopping at. I love how huge this Wegmans is and the amount of varieties is has when it comes to its products. They also sell a lot of organic stuff and compare to your regular Whole Foods the prices at Wegmans are much cheaper and reasonable. Some of my favorite items that i like from here are the Wegmans brand water and the yogurt. Every time i go to Wegmans that's something i leave with. Worst Wegmans Ive ever been to by a mile. Cold cuts are thicker than bricks and god forbid youre looking to buy a reasonable amount of cheese, they only cut them in 10 dollar chunks here. I am a big fan of the Wegmans in Dewitt, NY. and was very excited to visit this location. The layout is almost the same as the other Wegmans. The only issue I had was that the place seems to be not as clean and not well stocked. There are aisles where items are not fully stocked compared to other locations where the conditions are clean and neat. There is a children's center where you can drop off your kids while you going shopping. I am still a great fan and will return when I am in the area. read more

I love Wegmans!! I'm so happy that I found this location. Although it's about 20-30 minutes from work and out of my way to go home, I'm still willing to come here! Every time I go to a Wegmans, I casually stroll through every aisle and look at everything. I never rush because I just enjoy shopping at Wegmans. I love the Mediterranean Food Bar ($8.99/lb) for their gherkins and dips! Wegmans also has a prepared food section, hot/cold food bar, sushi, made to order subs, etc! There also so price comparison charts to Shop Rite that makes getting the best deal so easy! I also love Wegmans store brand items. They have consistent low prices. Instead of weekly specials, they have deals that last for about a month. Their regular prices are also pretty reasonable. If you have not been to a Wegmans, you need to go ASAP! read more

Ordered a large sub sandwich in Wegman's deli. Apparently you cannot order a large sub and get different meats on each half of the sandwich. So...we ordered two halves with one having one meat and the other half with extra meat specifying two meats and said we would pay extra for the extra serving of meat. The server measured the two meat choices as one order(four ounces.) Instead of telling us that you cannot get extra meat they went ahead and made a skimpy sandwich that was virtually a vegetarian sandwich. We made a complaint to customer service and all they said was we are sorry without explaining their deli policies or offering a bit of a refund. The staff member was very nice but was so confused and clearly didn't know fractions or they weren't given clear instructions on giving the customer what they want. We used to enjoy their subs when trained staff members knew how to make a good sandwich. Not anymore. We'll stick to local delis where real sub sandwiches are made without measuring the meat down to the milligram and with good customer service. read more

Extremely dissapointed by Woodbridge Wegmans. I bought pork ribs that were spoiled so bad that I couldn't get rid of the smell from my house. This happened twice within last 3 months. Yesterday I wanted to get the bread sliced.. Waited 10 minutes but there was nobody around. When I saw some other employee and asked her for help, she said she didn't work for bakery. She was a manager for a different department but I didn't get her name. What a shame. I used to go to wegmans in Princeton and loved it. Woodbridge location is very bad. read more

I hadn't been to this Wegmans in a while, as we only stop by if we're in the area, but our visit last week was so disappointing and nothing like the good experiences we'd had before. I don't know if it was an off day or if the store quality has just gone downhill, but almost everything seemed worse than in the past. The store wasn't well-stocked at all (other than maybe the frozen food). Wegmans brand tofu? None. Half-gallon jugs of whole milk? None. So many other things on our shopping list just weren't available, and we weren't even there that late in the day. A lot of the stuff that was left, basics like celery, was of such terrible quality that it might as well have been empty. Even the rotisserie chickens were done by dinnertime. There were zero samples. No cart wipes, broken scales in the produce section, just one thing after another, and we left incredibly disappointed and needing to go to another store to finish our shopping. On the plus side, we had no issues with the checkout scanner, the last bunch of cilantro left was actually good, and I tried their cold-pressed cranberry apple juice for the first time, which was inexpensive and refreshing, but the overall shopping trip just didn't feel like the usual Wegmans experience. read more
