Ever since they switched over to these property managers our apartment complex has been TERRIBLE! The office staff have horrible attitudes, never answer the phone, go on lunch at 12pm and won't open the office until after 5pm, and they pack their things to leave and go home for the day at 5:30. I have been trying to pay my rent since the beginning of the month but every time I walk to the office there's a sign that says "closed for lunch". I call throughout the day but never get an answer, i've sent emails and still haven't received any responses. The last day I attempted to pay my rent before I gave up I looked at the sign but the windows were opened so i decided to knock but no one came to the door so i went to check my mailbox and saw someone moving so i looked in and recorded the lady sitting on the couch watching tv and knocked again. She looked at me and turned away and i continued to knock until the head manager came and told me they're closed for lunch. I tried telling her I just wanted to give her the money order for my rent so i won't get a notice to vacate but she over talked me and wouldn't accept the money order. I asked the maintenance man if he knew the time they come off lunch break but he said he doesn't know because they take hours and hours and he needed some keys out of the office to fix on a unit but he wasn't able to get inside either. I also have pictures of the trash cans overflowing with trash all around it covering some of the parking lot yet, they still make us pay trash fees. There's trash all over the complex that they let sit for days before someone picks it up. They sent some guy out for pest control but he only came and sprayed behind my fridge and left. Ever since he sprayed ive been seeing roaches and he hasn't came back but we have pest control fees as well. I am highly unsatisfied and contemplating breaking my lease. Would NOT recommend anyone moving into the luna apartments! read more

casa bonita apartments my heat is broken (since 11/19/2022)... and, the office phone just rings and rings.... there's no voicemail nor emergency hotline. it's freezing in my apartment. my stovetop hasn't worked since may 2022. my bathroom sink pipes has been leaking all over the floor since june 2022. god forbid i wake up in the middle of the night, running to the bathroom and, forget about the large puddles of water on my floor. there's no onsite maintenance man. yet, they can have make ready people come fix the vacant apartments, to put back on the market. the code of compliance officer said that they would be by 11/15/2022 to fix things.... no one showed. he also stated that they would be fined $2,000 each day after the 15th. hhhhmmmm. i'll be calling them back in the morning. read more

I requested that my refrigerator be serviced, It was looked at a week ago, supposed to have been fixed, has not worked yet. I signed my 1st Yearly lease after being here 5+ years Cannot wait for lease to be up. Been late only one time. I will probably pay my lease out soon. Our ceiling collapsed Aug 21 2021 and still today over 2 months later they have done nothing. The ceiling is full of black mold and asbestos and termites. I called code enforcement and then Wehner filed Eviction. Luckily the reporters from Ft. Worth Star Telegram and our insurance adjuster have been here and taken tons of photos. But you'd think the regional manager would get things done....she is a unprofessional, lacks basic customer service skills and has no leadership to offer or display. If she did they'd follow suit....I will be reaching out to the news stations and the tenants association. I signed my lease in June...this is about to be the longest 11 months ever! If you see this company name printed on any of your apartment documents, flyers, Craigslist ads, Facebook posts, etc. RUN!!!! Don't walk away but run away! I live at an apt complex right now that has centralized heat/ac. I understand that when time comes, they need to switch the a/c to heat but not when it's still 79 degrees outside! They keep blaming it on the city, telling us that they HAVE to but I've lived in other apartments before that have centralized heat/ac and they can talk to the city about it. This management company has no respect, empathy, or best interests of their tenants. I told them to put themselves in our shoes, sleep inside a hot apartment after a long day of work, and see how it feels. Their answer: "the city is making us do it." BS!!!! P.S. They have also entered into my apartment without notice, did some maintenance, used my toilet, AND made a mess. Unacceptable and unprofessional. P.S.S. None of the washing machines are working. Our condo association fired Wehner Multifamily, LLC after we were unhappy with the service they provided. I, the Secretary of our HOA, am pleased to say that we believe we made the correct decision to do a management company search as demanded by our fellow Homeowners after they were completely unhappy with the service provided by Wehner Multifamily, LLC. The ways of the past Boards and the lack of support and input from Wehner Multifamily, LLC, lead our community into a downward spiral. We contracted with another management company to work for us starting July 1, 2016. I am writing this review today, March 4, 2017. The transition from old to new management was unprofessional and difficult due to slow downs on Wehner Multifamily, LLC's side. They did not transfer all requested documents, keys, etc, over to the new management company in a timely manner. Douglas George, our management, admits that he is an accountant, not a community manager. To be fair to Douglas George, it is probably more the fault of his boss to put him in the position as our manager. He did not give us guidance in making plans for our community. He didn't go over a budget with us. He didn't ensure that the requested maintenance we asked him to do was completed, or completed correctly. On the positive side, Douglas George did ensure that the bills were paid and that the accounting was done. Regardless of who is at fault, Wehner Multifamily, LLC did not provide the services that we needed and were paying for. To make our review worse, we are actually paying less per month for the better services of our new management company. It's hard to give anything more than a 2 star rating. If it weren't for our realizing that some of our problems were probably due to lack of attention forward thinking from past Boards, a 1 star rating may have been more appropriate. This was further complicated by an announcement by our manager that they were going to resign at the end of March 2016, but that never happened. It was delayed until April 2016, and it still didn't happen. We ended up firing them after we completed our management company search and transitioned to a new company on July 1, 2016. Was Wehner Multifamily, LLC of some help to our community? Yes. Were we getting our money's worth with Wehner Multifamily, LLC? No. Were they doing a decent job of improving our community? This is a DANGEROUS management company...their direlection of duty and breach of lease contracts has led to multiple fires, standing water and neglected swimming pools full of mosquitos to roach infested living quarters. Francesca the manager at their Casa Bella location has breached every business code of ethics in play. Not sure if perhaps Wehner is seriously in the dark and she is a master manipulator to that magnitude or she is a product of the trickle down effect. My daughter moved in on 06AUG and saw roaches. She reported to the office but they couldn't get someone out until 13AUG. My daughter spray-bombed the apt for 4 days straight with every kind of "roach spray" Home Depot had but she still saw roaches and she has pictures (time/date stamped) to prove it. Then she found one inside the refrigerator and again after they replaced it. Sara Escobar, leasing agent/Asst Mgr, informed her a week before move in that she had to pay a $1000 NR 2nd chance fee to move-in of which she struggled and did. Even after Massey Pest Control sprayed she STILL saw roaches. Effective immediately she moved her possessions out on 23AUG due to her son has a severe respiratory disease and he is allergic to roaches. Now mind you my daughter NEVER slept 1 night in this roach infested apartment because after seeing roaches while moving in her oldest son would GO BACK AND check everyday but he STILL saw roaches. Sara Escobar stated that Massey Pest Control never saw any roaches after they treated the apt 2 time but guess what.....my daughter has pictures to prove it. We will exhaust every legal entitlement available to get her rent refunded and the outrageous $1000 2nd chance fee that she was charged. This is a filthy place to even consider living at but unfortunately my daughter was just hoping to get in a place since she works from home until she could find a more livable apartment. She had no idea that it would be this bad. The neighbors literally stayed up ALL night long playing loud music and drinking outside their apt. DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT be fooled by this complex - The Encore on Mustang - because they will reel you in and you will have to suffer until your lease ends. The devil IS a liar and we will not fall prey to what they say about refunding the $1000 2nd chance fee and the rent paid. Instead, we will let the court decide. We ARE still in a pandemic folks but people like this owner is only out to make money at your expense. We moved out of their apartment complex this past FEBRUARY and just now in SEPTEMBER got our deposit back... And that's after many, many phone calls and many, many emails. I had to threaten contacting the BBB, the local apartment association, and a lawyer just to get someone to take us seriously and stop giving us the run around. It's been so long that I'm not even sure the check was for the full deposit, but at this point in time I don't care, I just want to finally be done with this company. DO NOT move into any property, house, etc. that's owned by Wehner Multifamily unless you wanna be ripped off and accused of being a bad tenant and called a liar. I won't even go into how we were treated by the manager since I've learned that she no longer works there. Over the past 2 years of living at Cooper Park Apartments it has been nothing but issues. Trashy complex, dumpsters constantly over flowing, my unit hadn't even been cleaned or finished when I moved in. Any time you try to call the office they either don't pick up the phone or forward your calls, don't expect a phone call back either. Last year they "lost" my lease that I had just resigned and had to bring them my copy as they were trying to charge me month to month. I moved out on September 14, 2020 and as a single mother working a full time job, getting my new place situated and taking care of my child I hadn't had time to turn in my keys. The property called me yesterday stating that they were going to charge me until September 25, 2020 because they didn't know I moved out, even though I submitted my 60 notice and paid the prorated rent balance they provided me. I would really appreciate it if someone at Whener Multifamily would give me a call back or answer my email so that I can get this resolved and finally be done with this nightmare. read more

I am with most of the other reviewers on here, the only reason I am giving Wehner Multifamily 1 star because I have to. Lets start off with how terrible it was living at their property in Edmond, OK. My apartment flooded out 2 days before Thanksgiving, it was taken care of in a timely manner but only half the work was done and we lived with a nasty looking wall with no trim or paint in the kitchen until we moved out. There was a mold problem. The water in the shower went from scalding hot to freezing cold over and over again. Maintenance did a half a** job on everything. The apartments were ghetto. The lease we signed ended on 09/30/2017, which is the day we moved. Believe me I didn't want to be there any longer than we had to. They changed management midway through living there, this is when Wehner took over. And it all went downhill from there. If I wrote all of the problems out on this review it would be 10 pages long. I turned in a vacate notice 45 days before we moved out, which was conveniently "lost" by the negligent and unorganized girl that used to work there. Now they're trying to charge me a months rent for 10/2017 when we no longer lived there. They are also trying to charge me eviction fees. As if it's my fault that they lost the paperwork and that they don't keep track of when their residents move in and out. So basically they're saying that my apartment sat empty for an entire month without them even checking? I called and told the girl working there at the time we had finished moving out and I left the keys on the kitchen counter of the EMPTY VACANT apartment since the office wasn't open at the time.Of course they change employees about every month. I can't get a hold of corporate, and the "employees" in the office are so terrible and rude, I am embarrassed by their lack of professionalism and the fact that they think its okay to speak to residents/former residents the way that they do. It's truly disgusting. It's looking like I am going to have to start a legal process and take legal action against them. I have already filed a complaint with the BBB. read more

Really I don't even want to leave a star my name is Kyle and I'm living at Western oaks apartments and there has been sewer water there has been plumbing issues and all kinds of other stuff like infested with roaches I have been here for about seven months and I've been written up 2 times in the last two months the kids haven't been loud there's been no music since February 3rd and I keep my music at a reasonable volume with that being said I will no longer keep my music at a reasonable volume since I'm being kicked out it's like walking on eggshells around here the stupid retarded maintenance guy don't even know how to fix stuff he keeps getting shipped off to different apartment complexes not even fixing stuff the right way I have a year-and-a-half old daughter and they won't even replace our heater they're saying it's working and it's not and then talking about people in Spanish and laughing at them this is America I understand but they shouldn't be talking crap about people in Spanish especially when they understand it I have been really respectful all the way around but my respect is gone and from here on out since we're being kicked out anyway because we've been rolled up two times in the last 2 months I'm going to be listening to my music as loud as possible I'm going to be recording everything and I'm going to be taking more pictures I was staying in some other apartments and I've got lots of videos and pictures of that and I'm fixing to go to court so either this gets taken care of and handled or it's going to be on that's not no threat that's a promise I'm tired of this Western oaks apartments pushing me around this whole company has been pushing us around well push my lawyers around I'm done with it and I've got pictures too and videos other people have been playing the music from 6:30 in the morning really loud until 10 or 12 at night sometimes 2 to 3 in the morning and it keeps happening and happening and I don't hear them or see them getting in trouble I didn't even get to have a small get-together party when we moved in and everybody else around can throw parties until late at night I don't think so I'mma start calling the police on everybody every one I sure will that's a promise read more

This is the most unprofessional company I have ever had any contact with. They don't answer their phones or return e-mails. They violate their own contracts, management of the apartments that I'm in is a joke. She has tried to block me from moving, but egg on her face. Due to the apartment being in abatement I have to move. I've only been here six months into a year lease. I have to take them to court to get my money back. Avoid Chaparral apartments in Fort worth, Tarrant county has already stated that anyone on housing has to move and cannot be leased to anyone with a voucher. These people are the worst of the worst. This company absolutely sucks!!!! I have had a leak in my apartment for over a week. The water is coming thru the wall from another apartment. It has ruined numerous items under my sink but the big issue is NO ONE answers the phone or returns call. I have called the manager of the property and the Wehner front office.
