I went in a bought formula, bring the cards (it's kept behind the counter at customer service) up to check out (Cheyanne was my cashier and she was very nice!) . It was 3 cans of Bubs Goat milk, I didn't realize until I got home and my husband pointed out that the gentleman who gave me the formula gave me 2 cans of cow and 1 goat. I went in and explained the situation to Chris (whom was very nice and helpful) and while he couldn't do anything bc formula is non-refund/exchange per FDA law, he was still extremely apologetic and very nice. Cheyanne: 4.5/5 Super nice, make up on point (not important but still a good job!) but didn't catch we rang up the wrong formula (also not really her job so not mad at her). Chris: 4.5/5 Super nice, very apologetic and I could tell he felt bad, even offered to pull cams and make this a learning moment for others. He couldn't do anything but that's the law (had it not been law, he was definitely willing to help) and he really didn't have to make it a training moment but I'm glad he offered for it to be! Man who gave me the formula: 0/5 The cans are COMPLETELY different colours and different animals on the front!! While my son isn't going to die, cow milk is extremely upsetting to his stomach and causes him really bad gas, Colic and bloating. Again, my son won't die but some babies HAVE to be on a specific formula due to health reasons more severe than CMPA. Please make sure you give people the right formula! Our baby's physical health and the parent's mental health can depend on it. Honestly Chris and Cheyanne are the only reasons this rating is so high bc they're both EXTREMELY nice and helpful and (Chris) was apologetic. Having PPD someone being that nice and helpful can be a big change in how the day was/is/will go. read more

This review is specific to the pharmacy. I know you take lunch from 1 -130 which is understandable. However with that said I think it is clear that at 130 there is going to be a huge line. The day I went in for medication the line was wrapped around aisle 4. Only one register open and the lady working the register was not friendly. When I got to the counter after waiting 30 min (4th in line) my medications were not ready. Doctor called them in the day prior. Another lady behind the counter told me I would have to wait 1/2 hour to get them filled. That would have been an hour total wait for medicine that should have already been filled. Other people in line were complaining about the line as well. A lot of unhappy people. I for one have stopped going there as much as possible. As customer service desk is also a nightmare. I really like this market. My elderly dad lives in the neighborhood and I take him to this market for his shopping twice a month. The scooters are always charged, the grocery selection is good, reasonable and well-stocked, and the staff is always available to help. Last weekend when I took my dad, we met a greeter in the produce section named Angel. He was so wonderful! He helped my reluctant dad get several good vegetables into the cart while eliciting agreement from my dad that he would try them. He accomplished what I couldn't - getting Dad to agree to eat more healthy veggies! He also suggested some other items like cantaloupe which my dad loves. I also talked my dad into using the pharmacy at this Weis instead of a pharmacy chain that seems to constantly have issues filling my dad's prescriptions. I've found that pharmacies in the local market offer more personalized service and get to know their customers. This really does make a difference. There are other options for markets in the area, but I'm happy using Weis. This particular store offers what other markets in the area don't - personal and friendly service. I won't be shopping anywhere else. read more

I have tolerated this store for decades because they usually have what I need, is close to my home and I know where everything is. I am done with this store, filthy shelves, expired products, employees with attitudes. The lady at the courtesy desk needs fired, just brutal. Don't buy a PA lottery ticket there (they won't pay you) I was told to go to sheetz or Sunoco, convenience stores. they are obligated to pay you! Ummm Hello I bought the ticket at your store! you're not obligated to pay me? giggling teenagers socializing instead of helping customers? Just finished my shopping at the Kendig Square store in Willow Street. The entire time I was checking and bagging my groceries, there were 3 teenage girl employees standing in the lane directly next to me laughing and talking about silly teenage girls stuff! While watching customers do the job they could at least be helping with!! I understand self checkouts because of staffing shortages but when employees are standing around doing NOTHING and customers are doing all the work?! When you go in the evening please be aware that if you pay by cash you must use the smallest self-checkout, as the larger self-checkout lines only accept debit/credit cards. And you have no other choice than to scan and bag your own groceries. That would be understandable if there weren't 5 teenage employees fooling around at the self-check-out behind you. Their language, their discussions, and the fact that they are getting paid to joke around while you do their job is simply unacceptable. They were not working just having social time and messing around with the scanner. Never again. read more

Women, be careful. An associate at this store sexually harassed me and told me he was "stalking" me. The first manager I spoke to about the incident was incredible - he was very empathetic, understanding, and so emotionally intelligent. When I talked to the manager in the morning, John, I was met with a very different reaction. John told me my story sounded "really weird," laughed when I relayed one of the comments the associate made to me, and simply told me he would "address it with the persons" but he has "not heard anything like this before." But don't worry, he told me he would give me a gift card next time I came in. I wonder what sexual harassment is worth these days? read more

I'm not from the area but my dad lives nearby to this store. I took my dad shopping over the weekend. It was his first outing in 18 months. This store was very clean, had excellent selection of products, plenty of stock, and reasonable prices. We had a loaded cart and headed to the checkout. Both my father and I are handicapped. We unloaded the cart to the conveyor belt only to realize we had accidentally loaded onto a self-check line. A very nice checker named Tamara quickly stepped up and very kindly offered to check us out. No one asked her to do that and she did it so pleasantly and efficiently. My dad and I were very grateful for her assistance. Overall, our impression of the store is very positive. I will be taking my dad to that store exclusively moving forward. read more

I think its a great store. Its my local store. I would like a real butcher there and better fresh meat choices like chicken tenderloins or veal. But its not that. Other than that they have everything and with good deals. The cold cuts are fresh and good. The service area has Lottery and Western Union as well. Just today we purchased just 9 items through one of the self checkout lines and of those 9 items, 7 were priced wrong due to special or sale item. This is not the first time this has happened to us. I am quite certain this is happening to others as well and this store is ripping you off and you just don't know it. Most people do not pay close enough attention to the actual price of each item whenever it is scanned. I think the management team of this store needs to get out there and make darn well sure the price as advertised or shown at the shelf matches the scan computer price. A word to the wise, check the price as you scan and check your receipt for the right price of each item. read more

Today I went to pull out my ham which I got a week ago (smoked spiral cut), only to find it had the "sell by" date of November 24. So they were selling meats past the sell by date by 3 weeks. Recently changed around aisles. And added a beer cafe. OK, so be it. Usually a great store, esp the self checkout. I've had subs & pizza, made to order here, and never "closed" at this station, esp the pizza. They just heat up a slice in their oven, and I'm on my way. It was Friday eve, around 7 pm. I walk up to the sub & pizza counter, and the young man behind the delivery counter says the girl who works the subs & pizza is on break, will be back shortly. Well, I think she took an extended break, and the young man had to leave the deli, noticed she hadn't returned, and proceeded to help me. He asked what I wanted, I ordered an American and 2 blt subs. Originally, I wanted 2 a slices pizza, but they ran out, and run out of fresh store made pizzas. It's FRIDAY eve. Why are there no pizzas, nor ready to go bags of fried chicken pieces or tenders, like usual? Why isn't this store equipped with the usual stuff?? So I settled for blt subs and American sub. He went on to make them, as he went along, he said he doesn't usually work this Dept, but he's to be trained for this soon, he's always in Deli. He did OK until I asked for certain items on the subs, and either he did or didn't have stuff to put on the subs, OK, now I'm thinking I should've gone to subway!! I've had great subs made here before, though. What's wrong with this picture? In the end, I asked for oil & vinegar on all, he only had oil. So I got what I needed to complete my subs at home at the salad bar. bullshit. Paid a total of $18 for 3 12" subs. So he's halfway done making the subs, who comes rolling in from her extended break? The girl that runs this sub & pizza stand, along with her friend, who must work at the Deli, with box of cigarettes & lighter in hand. She says to him this area is "closed", and he shouldn't have started this. Where's the sign stating subs & pizza is closed? I haven't learned to read minds yet. No sign stating hours anywhere! He then states, I'm sorry, this area was supposed to be "closed", but you're standing there, and cut the 3 rolls open and starting to put the fixings on it, ok, so youre either open or closed. She was very rude to him and made him feel bad. She was very short with him when he asked her how to make a blt, and how ring up a blt sticker. She wore no name tag, so I couldn't tell you her name. She should have stepped in and helped the young dude.The young man wore his tag, but I can't remember his name. I never had this kind of poor customer service at this Weis, and will remember this unfortunate experience always. I hope the store manager us aware of this girl and her miscommunication of Dept hours to her co-workers. She was in her late 50's, and had dark red long hair, no name tag. read more

I've been shopping at the Weis Markets in Willow Street, PA for many many years and recently noticed there's a lot of changes that took place lately, namely employees leaving and new employees being hired, but, most importantly I'm writing this post to acknowledge two people that I believe deserve some recognition for there outstanding customer service, and that is Christina Wilson and a young girl by the name of Jenna, sorry don't know her last name. I did go to Customer Service to tell them about the great service I always receive from the cashier, Jenna, and they told me to get online so she's recognized, I hope I'm doing this on the right place on here!!
