A fairly solid offering/variety of products. The only thing we didn't find on our list for the week was shaved steak, but that doesn't mean they didn't have it. A good range of prices. A few things were more expensive than other markets but most were in line or less than, in our experience. Very clean and organized. Went here with my parents and sister for a quick breakfast and walked around the supermarket before going to the Amish Village for a tour and walk. I had tried, brought and ate the strawberry chocolate drizzled donut. It was absolutely delicious and sweet. The service was also fast and quick. I couldn't agree more. Do I recommend this place? Yes, yes, yes! Not sure if it's the clean and well organized appearance inside, the variety of fresh produce, meats, and baked goods, the great values, the friendly staff, that ice cream, or just the combination of everything the Strasburg Marketplace has to offer, but I feel happy just walking in the door. Just booked our annual summer vacation in the area and can't wait to shop again at Strasburg Market Place. We will stock up our rental home with our favorites from here. The produce and meat are terrific and there are always some prepared foods we'll grab for the nights we don't feel like cooking. This is not your typical big box grocery store.... and for that I am thankful. It's a pleasure to shop here, not a chore like a typical grocery store. read more

It is extremely clean and has a great selection of food items. Fresh meat, and delicious take-out items.

If you are going to charge over 6 bucks for a loaf of bread, at least sell it fresh, and not out of the freezer where it makes it dry and stale before it's time..... Also, what's with filling the frozen 1/2 bags of fries, cheese curds ect. and charging such an inflated price. I've noticed locals are not shopping there as often as they used to. read more

Some of these 1 star reviews are laughable! Wow. I shop here 1-2 times a week and I'm a local! Very convenient for me considering any grocery store is 15-20 minutes farther then I want to drive! Strasburg market place has delicious pre made food, like the pizzas, soups, salads and wings just to name a few. They have really good red beet eggs with beets-taste homemade. They have a very good red meat selection, best steaks in my opinion. And the bakery is delicious. I typically come here for a few grocery items, but mainly fresh items because they're literally worth it. Latte luv has great coffee, the donuts are absolutely amazing and they sell Down on the Farm ice cream. I'm so happy this place was opened, literally an absolute blessing when you live in the middle of nowhere. Having been shopping here from day one. read more

Best Chicken Pies in Lancaster! This is a wonderful small town grocery store with an ice cream shop and coffee shop built in! Our family loves and supports them for allowing for common sense and individuals to shop as they see fit during Covid. Before the corona virus global pandemic, this was a great neighborhood addition. The perfect market to pick up a light grocery order, a chicken pot pie for dinner, or some baked goods to take to a party. However, when the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania declared emergency health standards to combat the spread of Covid-19, this store did nothing to keep its employees or customers safe. Shopping there once during the pandemic was like walking into a time warp. There were absolutely no mitigation efforts going on in the store. Not one employee wore a mask, no plexiglass at cashier stations, no hand sanitizer and no cart wipes. I was stunned. So disappointed in a family run business that could have set a good example for the community. Instead they have lost a whole family of customers. Strasburg deserves better! read more

As a local, this is my go to market. I love the choices. The freshness. The friendly workers. It's wonderful. Don't let the negative reviews phase you about not following covid guidelines. I shopped there all through covid and it was amazing. It did wonders for my mental outlook seeing smiling faces, and smiling (maskless), right back at them. People travel from all over, to shop there as well. The negative reviews were part of a small campaign to try to shut them down. It didn't work .... They are thriving. We stopped by to pick up a few essentials, groceries and bagels. We were the only people wearing masks in the entire store. It was absolutely awful and anxiety inducing. None of the staff was wearing masks, and you could just feel their anger it was wack. As soon as we walked in, the only couple with a mask, we were met by angry glares from the staff. Crazy how in the middle of the pandemic they don't have ANY Covid rules or restrictions. It was extremely uncomfortable. If you want to come here just know they don't care about Covid and will not be taking any protective measures. read more

EXTREMELY OVERPRICED!! HOLY COW!!! Locals wouldn't be able to weekly shop here, tourists can find MANY places cheaper, I don't know who's pricing these items, but you have yourself a nice museum of food, people only come in pick up an item, maybe tow. I love Strasburg Market Place! On the contrary to other reviews I feel that they are doing a great job during covid - it is SPOTLESS always, and as adults we can choose to follow guidelines on our own.... without 6ft distancing tape on the floor I enjoy the great options of local produce and all of their baked goods! This is a GREAT spot to stop as a local AND tourist! You'll be able to get a great cup of local coffee, a donut, and get yummy treats to continue on your tour of our beautiful county! The store does not take any concerns regarding your health. No sign on the doors requesting mask wearing. I saw both customers and staff not wearing masks. I did not go in and won't shop there due to their inconsiderate ways. read more

This has been disappointing. First, the employees do not wear masks. Interesting, since they are handling people's food. Especially in the bakery and coffee shop. They should all be wearing masks and gloves. Interesting they think themselves above all others. Second, we had purchased subs there, and got them home to find that whomever sliced the bologna, never took the outer shrink wrap off. We had to remove the bologna out of the sandwiches. When I called to explain what happened, the woman who answered argued with me about the paper between the meat and the veggies is supposed to be there. I said again, it was the shrink wrap around the bologna. She did not take our name, did not offer us an exchange and/or reimbursement. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

Store does not require any employees or guests to wear face masks, even though it is still a state requirement. Since they can't be bothered to do the bare minimum for their customer and staff safety, I do not trust any baked goods, deli purchases etc to be handled safely. If you can't mask then you probably don't wash hands, temp regulate etc. It's a shame, because the place was cute. But obviously unsanitary. read more

Have always loved this market until I took my 86 year old mother to the Market Place this past weekend - and easily less than a third of the employees were wearing masks. Such a strange decision to make considering the all the elderly/retirement clientele that use this market! Won't be returning ever - we got the message loud and clear. read more
