They have a philosophy and stick to it and expect the products they carry to follow through with it. I went in there once to pick up some organic greek yogurt and found out that the way the product was made or animals used for the product did not meet the stores specific standards so they stopped carrying the product and so I stopped buying it from other stores as well. I love knowing the store is always looking to meet the best quality possible! They also run monthly adds which is great. I can try something new one week, fall in love with it, and it's still on sale next week to go buy some more. They also have a great pre-packaged bulk department with goods of all kind. My fav is the dried tart (no sugar added) cherries... expensive but worth it! To me they have the largest and best selection of vitamins. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't have known there were options for vegetarian capsules for my vitamins. On Friday I love going to Natural Grocers because the Flying Stove typically shows up with their always changing menu. Everything is good! Try it then because there is a chance you won't find that same item on their menu for a while. You can also eat whatever you buy for lunch at the Flying Stove inside in the reading, relaxing area in Natural Grocers. Pay attention when you go to the store because sometimes they advertise classes they teach which are always beneficial for your health. Sometimes they have sample fairs of some kind, but not as often as Green Acers. Lastly, they FINALLY started a rewards system.
