We arrived about 2 hours after opening on a Saturday afternoon in August and it was pretty packed. Since we had the dogs with us so we searched for a shady spot on a sunny afternoon so that they would be comfortable. Luckily we found one! The beer was good. We really enjoyed the Catch & Release, Mountain Life and the Dutchie. The basil in the Dutchie was really refreshing! We purchased Mountain Life and Dutchie in cans. The food was definitely not the highlight. They told us they were very behind and that the pizza would take an hour or more. They also wouldn't take our order initially because they had no buzzers left. We came back two times to see if any buzzers had come back. We ended up ordering the smash burger, the chicken sando, and fries. This order took about 20-25 mins. The Smash burger had a nice caramelization. The chicken sando was tasty, but not worth the wait. We will be back!

Well, OK, bottling lines cost money, so do canning lines, even using a "gypsy canner" (I didn't coin the term, don't hate on me) is an operational cost. So, I get it. But.... Can I get a glass pour? No, you must buy the bottle. Can I get a taster to decide if I want to buy your pricey, whimsically named beer du jour? No, you may not? Ah. Could I buy a bottle, drink a glass, and have it legally resealed for my road trip home? LOLOLOL. What state are you in, pal? Oh, and the hours of operation scream either trust fund baby or someone who works 3 real jobs, and this is just a side hustle. I just happened to have moon and stars align with the free time I had to make this road trip. If you have the time, and a drinking companion AND the two of you can knock of a 750ml and hit the road after in a safe and sober manner, then absolutely, give this place a try. If you're seeking a brewery experience that isn't locked in the bootstrap days of yore, then pass 'em by. You'll note I didn't rate the beer itself. Months later, at home, I decanted Tempo (a saison), and pronounced it good. Actually, a 4.0 on UnTappd, so yeah, very enjoyable. But the effort it took to experience their craft, on their terms, means I'm not repeating this trek anytime in the foreseeable future.

Regardless, it was delicious and warm. The waiter had the schnitzel split for us without asking, which I appreciated. It was juicy and paired with sour/sweet red cabbage and mustard/tangy German potato salad. The meal was very filling and not badly priced. The food here is legitimately delicious, not "just good" for a restaurant near the ski resort. We sat outside on the upper deck with a nice mountain view. The Apple strudel was one of the best desserts I've ever had with cinnamon ice cream. I can only imagine how cozy this place is during the fall and winter. Absolutely worth the price.
