Any store that offers Purple Rain/Prince coffee mugs (oversized also) to go along with Snoop Dogs Cooking Book is going to get an automatic +1 star .... unfortunately I can't rate them a 6 stars. This store is just filled with all sorts of fun things. Seasonal display for the upcoming Valentines Day holiday. But, beyond that, there are so many other things and the store is laid out so nicely. Flows well and they have done a great job of setting it up so that you keep finding more things you want even as your checking out. Candles, art, books, unique greeting cards, soaps, drink mixers, glassware, nick knacks ... you name it they have a little bit of everything. Things are boutique pricing (ie: they can be a little costly) so e prepared for prices that are higher than what you may find at big box stores ... but nice quality, and unique items make it worth a shopping trip to see what you can turn up. We wouldn't hesitate to come back and shop from time to time to see what new items they bring in. Great locations overall and highly recommended. read more

I loved this place! I came in to pick up some scented candles and it took every ounce of restraint I had not to grab just about everything else in the store. Great selection of candles and just tons of other fun stuff that would make a perfect gift for anyone who loves a gay icon or appreciates tastefully done camp. Really personable and friendly shop-keeper. It's nice to have a positive reason to jump on yelp and leave a review instead of venting about a negative experience. 10 out of 10. This store is so stinkin' cute!! I walked in and felt like I was in heaven. There is such a nice collection of notebooks to sugarfina candies to pastel candles. If you're in the area it's definitely worth checking out, especially if you love that semi-hipster, part-homemade, totally charming, etc etc kind of vibe. read more

What a cute little shop of Knick knacks, home goods, and decor! It's a little more pricey than chain stores, but offers well justified options. They have a beautiful selection of items varying from cards and candles, to kitchen cookbooks and utensils. Cute place to buy that coffee table book to talk about or, for me, the perfect candles for my newly decorated bedroom. Tucked away in the back of the Eastland cafes and stores. Definitely worth a visit when your budget is feeling a little more generous than just your chain store shopping expense. read more

I had two friends tell me about how cute this shop was and how it's a perfect place to find a gift. Well I needed a thank you gift for friends who invited us to a vacation home. I stopped by here after work and my friends were right! First, I stopped here AFTER work. This place is open until 7 which is awesome because it means I can swing by on a weeknight. The stores visual set up is excellent. They have everything sorted well into sections and it's definitely full of goodies but not overwhelming. I would say there is a good mix of pricing here and you should be able to find something for any budget. They have all sorts of artisanal/local/unique/handmade items. From candles to pottery and baby stuff to jewelry. You can find something for anyone on your list here. My favorite part was that the owner just let me browse (for awhile... there's a lot to see) and it was so laid back that I wasn't feeling nervous to pick something or rude that I wasn't talking to her because I was the only person in the store. Once I was ready to check out she was super friendly and we chatted a bit about the store. Overall it was a great experience and I will be back! read more

Welcome Home is a great home decor shop that has some other random goodies as well. Candles, mixers for cocktails, cocktail glasses, books, art...I could go on and on. Everything was very stylish and trendy, and the prices were more reasonable than I was expecting! I didn't buy anything on my first visit, but I'm sure I'll be back as we are still in the middle of decorating our first home in Nashville. I'd definitely check out Welcome Home if you're heading to a house warming party as well - great ideas and unique gifts! read more

Stopped by before lunch on a lovely Wednesday morning and absolutely fell in love! This store has the perfect balance between feminine & masculine, hipster & classy, luxurious & thrifty... I was able to find the perfect gift for my brother who's moving away for grad school here :) was very pleased about that. Sigh, only if I had more $ to spend on myself :p Also, got to talk to owner of the store. He was very down to earth & friendly. Wish I could visit more often, but unfortunately I'm from LA.. This place is bomb. It's not just the basic rustic-chalkboard-mason-jar-animal-head Pinterest amalgamation that so many boutiques seem to be these days! They have a great selection of local and regionally made stuff. And their non-locally made stuff is cooler than most. It reminds me a teeny bit of Fishs Eddy (without as many dishes). They also have a great spectrum of price points. There are some really dope things I would need to save up for, and there are lower price point consumables like candles and cards, as well as my personal weakness: interesting trays, bowls and catchalls. It is THE place to buy a hostess gift! The other great thing about them is that they have some really popular candle brands - Voluspa, Paddywax, and I think even Volcano, so you can get your delicious name brand smells from a local shop instead of Anthropologie. Also, the owners are so very friendly, and they have really green thumbs (just look at their rex begonia!). read more

In speaking with the owner's husband I learned that she had been the buyer for a long favorite (now defunct) shop, Obelisk for many years. She's carried on the torch and improved it. `Popped into this store after getting coffee the other day and it was like one of my Pinterest boards came to life. Unique and clever home stuff, gift ideas, art and jewelry in every price range, plus cool stuff from companies and makers I've admired online but have never seen in person. It's definitely going to be my new go-to gift spot. It has a really laid-back but curated vibe, perfect for popping in and looking around. The owners are local and were really lovely, too-- they knew a lot about everything they have on display, and you can tell they really put a lot of thought into what they carry.
