At 9pm on our first night, they were vacuuming in the hallway which was pretty loud. Our door was also a bit jammed and didn't open/close easily. The bathroom paint was peeling too. The complimentary breakfast was nice at least and had the basics: cereal, toast, waffles, eggs, fruit. It was nice that there was a gym on site as well, but the AC couldn't be adjusted so it was pretty stuffy. Overall, not the best hotel I've stayed at, but not the worst either.

Id say a block or so theirs a good amount of homeless encampments blocking the sidewalks. As we checked in and walking to the lobby a homeless lady approached and sat on the hotel benches just outside the lobby. This person made some kind of comment to my wife and 2 girls that made them feel uneasy and uncomfortable. We were given a room on the 1st floor which was cool but the room was a bit dirty and the bathroom had visible holes through the dry wall underneath the sink. The soap dispenser fell off the wall and to top it off as I was using the restroom the morning of checking out I saw a small german/brown banded roach crawling in and around the tub! Anyway thats my review. I contacted Hilton in hopes they get the place fumigated and invest in security on site 24/7 not just 9PM-9AM.

Joseph's outstanding customer service and energy will be the reason he'll do well in any of his future endeavors. He upgraded my room and let me check in almost 6 hours early (with a small fee of course, no problem) His friendly and personable demeanor will be the sole reason I come back the this hotel, (Even with him moving to bigger and better things) he represents all that is good when it comes to client relations. Plus, his recommendations are spot on! The rooms are fresh and clean. Shower is hot. Amenities are top tier and the breakfast is tasty. Overall, a 10/10 experience and I will def be back.

The hallways smelled strongly like urine, the room did not feel properly cleaned, and the elevators were dirty. As an HR leader whose company consistently books employees at this hotel, this experience is especially concerning. I need to feel confident that our employees are staying somewhere clean, comfortable, and professionally managed. Based on tonight's conditions, I am seriously reconsidering whether we should continue using this property for company travel. To make matters worse, the bartender's attitude came across as rude and unwelcoming. The only positive part of my arrival was the gentleman at the front desk, who was professional and helpful. After traveling and arriving late, a guest should be able to check in, feel comfortable, and rest not question the cleanliness of the property or feel stressed about the stay. This hotel needs immediate attention to cleanliness, odor control, and customer service. I as a loyal Marriott Customer Will never return to this hotel.

Most of the front desk staff are friendly and professional. I would have given a rating of 5 stars, but the internet connection in my room was terrible. I ended up using my cellular service. The staff has been aware of this problem for several months. When I mentioned it again this time, a staff person gave me a piece of paper with a different Hyatt internet connection. Why wasn't that given to me at check-in?

I then walked down stairs to the front desk and Linh (front desk manager ) she did offer another room but I'm checking out in a hour because I have an early flight and explained that . She proceeded to offer a $20 food and beverage credit but I'll never stay at another Hilton . I'm so disappointed and I feel physically sick.

The location was convenient for us, and overall the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. One thing to know before arriving: there is no general hotel parking available. Valet parking was an option, but we didn't want to pay for valet, so finding close parking was a bit of a struggle. The pool is located outside, right behind the hotel. We took the elevator to the second floor, which opens into the restaurant. The restaurant area has a nice tropical, resort-like feel, and it wasn't very crowded when we visited. From there, you go through the restaurant and downstairs to access the pool area. The pool itself was much smaller than I expected, with a posted capacity of 27 people. Thankfully, there weren't many people actually in the water at the same time, and most guests were relaxing on the poolside lounge chairs. There were plenty of chairs, including covered seating, and only one child was there during our visit, so the atmosphere remained peaceful. Towels are provided, along with complimentary sunscreen and a pitcher of water for staying hydrated at the self-service towel station. There is also a poolside bar, and you can order by scanning the QR code and your food will be delivered to your chair. I ordered the fish. The presentation was nice, but the flavor was pretty average-not bad, just not particularly flavorful. My biggest disappointment was the lack of a locker room, changing area, or shower facilities. If you need to use the restroom, you have to go back upstairs through the restaurant. For a paid pool day pass, I was hoping there would at least be somewhere to shower and change comfortably. Overall, Hotel June served its purpose: we wanted a peaceful place to swim and relax for the day without dealing with a crowded public pool, and that's what we got. The setting was pleasant enough, and the pool area wasn't overcrowded, but between the very small pool, parking situation, lack of changing/shower facilities, and average food, I probably will not return.

While this won't change anytime soon, I am horrified and disgusted by this terrible Marriott and advise people to reconsider staying here. During my mom's cancer battle, I was tasked with transporting my family who do not speak English from LA to North Carolina for her final days. One time, there was a miscommunication during booking that was easily fixable. Despite my family's loyalty to not just the brand but this location, the callous night manager was aggressively mean. During the darkest time of my family's life, Marriott chose to add to our hardships rather than provide a quiet respite from it all. Marriott won't suffer consequences. This location won't suffer consequences. Heck, I bet that night manager won't suffer any consequences. But my story still needs to be shared. To the terrible excuse for a human being night manager: I hope it made you feel just a little bit better to make my family's life that much harder during its darkest moments.
