After removing the old fence, he left all of the debris--large pieces of the old fence and scraps--piled in my side yard instead of hauling them away or cleaning up the area. He returned a few days later to install a gate. When he finished, I went into the backyard and found that several of my bushes had been pulled out by the roots and left lying on the ground. He also left the section of fence he removed to install the gate simply lying in the yard. There was also an issue with the gate pricing. I was originally quoted $300 for the gate. When he arrived to install it, he showed me a Home Depot receipt for $279 just for the materials. When I asked about the difference, he didn't offer much explanation and simply said he would charge $100 for labor so we would be "close" to the original quote. What was most frustrating is that it would have been very easy for him to clean up after himself and communicate. A quick call from Home Depot to let me know the materials were going to cost more would have been appreciated. Overall, I felt like the job was done with minimal effort and attention to detail. I expect contractors to take pride in their work and leave the property in good condition, and unfortunately that didn't happen here.

It was that simple and quick. His wife and his niece was there as well. His wife got a quote on multiple stores for parts within minutes, his niece was there to assist Wes. Wes is very trustworthy and honest about his work and immediately my husband and I were ready to do business with him. Fast forward to today (4 days later) he calls me to tell me my truck AC has been restored and ugh im so happy bc summer is approaching. Sorry but it's a long but worthwhile review. I really don't like giving bad reviews since it can…read morereally affect a business. But I felt I needed to in this case. I called Anytime Handyman to come out and replace 2 damaged doors and install 2 new doors. I sent a text message to let Tyler letting him know my lock box number since it's a rental and no one will be there to let him in. I gave explicit instructions as to which doors needed to replaced. (it was obvious because of the visible damages). He sent me the estimate, I agreed and paid for the doors so he could order it. They went back to the rental, and installed the new doors as planned. Here's the prolblem, they took off the wrong door (not damaged) and put the new door on. Leaving the damaged door still damaged. That's not the end of it, the latch was not installed properly, it had a hole and crack. As for the other door that they installed, there was also a problem, the strike plate and latch were off centered and wasn't closing properly. I called Tyler to tell him the wrong door was removed and replaced, and sent him a snap shot of the text I sent him when he went out for the estimate, explaining which doors needed to be replaced. His answer was, that's not how he interpreted it. Everything seemed to be wrong with the job. From the wrong door being replaced, to the damages to the door and the other door's latch not closing properly. He said not to worry and it's normal it's not a problem, just let him do his job. Now I'm no handyman but I do know how to install a lockset, and I've never seen a hole of that size, nor did I ever see a strike plate and latch installed at an angle. In Tyler's defense, he did say if I'm not happy he would give me a new door. But at this point, my trust with their quality of work has diminished. Not even a new door would make me continue to do business with them. I will take that loss, and stop all remaining repairs with this company. Update: I read the business owner's responses to my review. First of all, the "so called Painter's" was my daughter and son in law who came over the weekend to help paint the doors, only to find the damaged doors and discrepancies on the other door as well, including the wrong door that was removed. I would have no reason to damage these doors that I had already paid in Full upon completion on Weds. Lastly, it speaks volumes when a business owner would illegally break a homeowner's right of privacy and send photos to anyone requesting it, without prior authorization. I stand by my review.

At the initial stages of the work, the project manager provided us with a detailed proposal and drawings for the rooms. He also worked with us prior to construction to specify cabinets, plumbing fixtures, electrical fixtures, misc hardware, and paint colors. From the first site visit to the final walkthrough, everything was seamless. William managed this project very well and guided us through this process with ease. At any point if we had questions he was quick to respond. The showroom they have is great and the experience of setting your preferences on design and materials is quite enjoyable. The only hiccup we encountered is that the supplier of the original tile that had been selected did not come in the size we needed and so it wouldn't have meshed well with the current tile in the living room. William helped us find a suitable alternative and we were able to pivot and are very pleased with the outcome. There were a couple of adjustments during the project but again related to the tile, we changed the direction of the placement which allows for us to replace the remaining tile in the house in the future if we decided to do so. William and team thinking ahead with our needs in mind really provided a sense of care. My renovation consisted of a full kitchen & bathroom remodel, with tub to shower conversion. I contacted a few companies and received various quotes, some of which required me to travel to various showrooms to select materials which as a first time home renovator, seemed overwhelming. However, when I was contacted by William, he informed me he had previously done renovations in my building and was very familiar with how the management office worked, water shut off, elevator reservations, etc. MY Construction's showroom had all materials/samples in one place where I could put everything together and get a visual idea; he also had tons of photos of examples on his phone to show me. Can't say enough amazing things about William and his crew, not only did he keep me updated daily, but he also handled so many of the nuance tasks on his own, making sure I wasn't distracted at work or taking on any unnecessary stress during the project. (He even dealt with a cranky tenant who had been accidentally double booked by management for the elevator as well as installing all of the new appliances!) The communication couldn't have been better. On to the finished reno; it's truly everything I wanted and more!
