Enjoyed my afternoon at the WELL spa + salon. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They have a wonderful lounge you can wait in if you get there early and enjoy a coffee or champagne. I had a massage which was nice and relaxing, the shower after was great!!

When you have a day off during the week, what do you do with it? Well I chose relaxation this day. In the winter a good massage on a heating table is an absolute necessity. Added the dry brush this time, think this will one I keep added. In the winter our skin can dry out and this brush helped remove some dead skin which will keep my skin showing a little more glow. I always like how I feel post massage, especially one here. Will be back very soon.

The Well Spa at the Pfister is the only place I will go for a massage! I love the private rooms with showers. The ambiance is amazing and I love that I am greeted with a mimosa. Perfect spot for a relaxing day.

I rarely treat myself to a spa day but my husband surprised me for my birthday and it was definitely a treat! I've visited Well Spa + Salon before and have never been disappointed. After first checking in upstairs you're directed down to the most peaceful of waiting areas. Like most spas, the atmosphere is extremely welcoming and soothing. Low lighting, sparkling music, pretty decor and stylish furniture keep you company as you await your masseuse. My experience with Rachel was absolutely delightful! Dare I say it was one of the best massages I have ever had. This was actually a prenatal massage, and it wasn't until Rachel started rubbing out the tension in my body that I realized how badly I needed it. To be honest I was slightly wary about having a prenatal massage, just like I'm slightly wary about most things these days - pregnancy will do that to ya - but I was made very comfortable and felt relaxed the whole time. Instead of laying on your stomach like a traditional massage, this session has you laying on one side at a time while your leg rests over a large body pillow. This is my new preference, so comfy! The rooms are quaint and dimly-lit. Attached private bathrooms are lovely and large, equip with an amazing walk-in shower and basic toiletry products you may need. You're free to unwind at your leisure after the massage session. Very enjoyable all around! I plan to get in another appointment or two before my delivery for sure.

Can't go wrong here! It is a bit pricey, but with all the amenities and service you receive, it's well worth it. My massage was fabulous! I love that the massage tables were modern and switched positions automatically. They offer different sensory enhancing things to relax you, such as music/noise and aromas. You first start off with a beverage and there's small bites to eat as you wait in the lounge area. You're taken to your private room and you can't help but feel relaxed as soon as you walk in. Attached to your room is a private bathroom and shower. You're offered to either shower before or after your massage. Let me tell you about this shower. OMG!!!!! I want to build one like this in my home. It's a huge walk in shower with a rain shower on top. There are sprayers and nozzles coming at you in every direction. You take advantage of the whole 15 minutes that you are given to be in there, and you don't want to leave. After you're done you are walked back into the lounge to unwind at your leisure. If you're looking for somewhere special and high quality, this is the Spa for you.

I've been here three times, lastly for a deep tissue massage. The interior and design of the spa is modern, calming, beautifully decorated and you forget that you are in a lower level of a building. We were offered beverages while waiting for the service, and there were snacks and fruit available on a side table. After filling out some paperwork our massage therapists greeted us. Both were pleasant and smiling, escorting us to the couple's massage room. After having both a relaxation massage and a deep tissue, I definitely prefer the relaxation massage. Deep tissue seemed to be more clinical, less relaxing. The therapist did check in with me, asking about pressure, but I wish we would have talked beforehand about the benefits of increased pressure, and outcomes of the massage after I told her it was my first deep tissue. After the massage, we were told we had 15 minutes to shower, and use the facilities. This seemed rushed for two people, and we felt hurried to vacate. Also, there is always issues with the showers! They are difficult to use, too many knobs, and the therapists acknowledged that most people struggle with them. This has been consistent with both my massages and I would suggest Well Spa address that. I did not see the value of paying extra for a deep tissue and would go back to a relaxation massage if I visit again. Well Spa is pricey and I plan to check out some other providers and see how they rank before returning.

Long overdue for a massage and I couldn't have picked a better place to get it done. From the time I entered the Pfister Hotel and checked in to the spa, to the time I left, the service was great. After checking in upstairs, I was escorted to the spa lobby and treated to a glass of champagne. There is water and some other treats as well while you wait. It was when I met my masseuse, Marilyn, and was taken to the massage room that I was totally blown away! The room was like a suite - dimly lit, quite tranquil - and with its own attached private changing room/bathroom, shower, sauna etc. complete with toiletries, hairdryer etc! You have an extra 10 minutes before/after your service to take a shower. When filling out your paperwork you can specify some preferences - my massage table was nice and toasty warm when I got on and some nice relaxation music played in the background. I had a choice of scented massage oils to choose from. Marilyn did an excellent job with my deep tissue massage, just the right amount of pressure. After the massage, she gave me a robe that was toasty warm (from a heated drawer) and I had another 10 minutes to relax and get dressed. Back in the spa lobby with one more glass of champagne and I felt so revived. Tomorrow I go back for a facial which I had to reschedule. Can't wait!

I'm basing this review on things that I know would not change whether the experience was complementary or not, like the atmosphere, products offered and used. One thing to remember if you're going there for the first time - Pay attention when driving there. Regency Court is right off of Bluemound, but doesn't really look like a street; more like a parking lot entrance? Not a big deal, just knowing helps when following the gps. I had to turn around cuz I missed it. The building looks more like a condo/aparment building from the outside, but once you go in, it was gorgeous. Very nicely designed and elegantly decorated. My therapist was Alyssa, and she greeted me, very friendly. I was offered a drink - water, tea, coffee - which I didn't need, so we went right in. I loved walking through the inside; it's so pretty! And I didn't have to use it, but their bathrooms also looked so clean. Alyssa also gave me a bottle of water after the session, which I did need. All the products they used were Dermalogica, which coincidentally is the brand I am using presently. They even had the higher end of the line products. I love it when a salon doesn't skimp out on the products. I've been to places where they use very generic products, and though the facial is good, you know your facial isn't really top notch because the product that stays in your face wasn't great. The spa has been open for a year and has all the signs of staying around for a long time!

I came in for my first visit back in December and was prompted upon checkout to book another appointment 4 months later, which I did. I dint receive any email or text then of the appointment, but figured I would be reminded closer to my appointment so I didn't mind. Day of, I received ONE text less than than 3 hours before my appointment asking to confirm. I clearly informed them that I was unaware of my appointment since this was the first correspondence. They proceeded to charge me with a $35 cancellation fee, without mentioning this. I only saw since I checked my bank account. I tried asking for a refund since I was not given sufficient notice to even cancel or reschedule my visit and there was no assistance and then they just stopped responding. The cancellation policy online states that if you cancel more than 3 hours before your visit, there isn't an issue, but I wasn't even texted more than 3 hours before, so this wasn't even an option for me. I think this is just a lazy way to get money out of people and reflects poorly on your ability to correspond with clients in a timely fashion.

Initially intending to continue IPL treatments, I was persuaded to try this new peel that was marketed as gentle and convenient with no downtime. I found no reviews online regarding this product and put my trust in the personnel working in the Medispa at Spargo. There were four sessions spaced a week apart. Despite following all post-treatment instructions--applying the recommended Factor 5 facial mask to soothe my skin and maintain hydration--I encountered significant problems. Rather than seeing healthier, rejuvenated skin, I developed large red spots and severe dryness after each peel. I was told my face would look so much better after a week or two. The discomfort was substantial, and even with additional application of lotion and Aquaphor, my skin's condition worsened. Makeup failed to conceal the marks and I was told after the 3rd treatment that I needed to do 4 even though I planned on stopping due to the effects on my face. Although Spargo refunded the cost of my final treatment, the damage is more than when I started. I was hoping to get rid of age/sun marks on my face this product was terrible for me.

I tried something new yesterday, an experience that came highly recommended. It turned out to be…read moresuch a remarkable experience that I think I need to share it. I spent an hour in a tank today. Huh? I stepped into a float tank where I experienced something called "flotation therapy." It's relaxation through sensory deprivation and believe me, it is relaxing. What is a float tank? Think of a shallow bathtub inside a phone booth. The tub is filled with water that is charged with Epsom salts. The salt content makes you buoyant so your body floats easily in ten inches of saltwater. I arrived early for my appointment because it was my first visit. There is paperwork to complete (electronically, welcome to the 21st Century) and I sat in the relaxation room to do so. The spa is a warm and welcoming atmosphere with friendly guides who explain everything you need to know about your service. I entered the therapy room and in a cozy area, I quickly undressed. I stepped into the shower and washed off the daily grind, then carefully stepped into the chamber. It is lit with soft, blue light and relaxing synthesized music plays softly. I switched off the light but since music is a major part of my life, I let it play. (If you prefer, you can shut it off or you can play your own music through your cell phone via cable connection.) The experience of floating in total darkness is weird at first, but it didn't take long before I could feel every muscle relax and let go. I could also clearly hear the music underwater when my ears slipped below the surface. (Optional earplugs are provided and no, my face was never near submersion.) I had no sense of time passing. In the dark, and it is very dark inside the chamber, I felt sensations of movement. The chamber is, of course, small so my fingers, toes and the top of my head sometimes contacted the edge of the tub but I felt a sensation of motion like I was floating in circles. If I had to compare it to something, I would say it felt the way I imagine it would feel to be an astronaut, floating around the International Space Station or a Gemini capsule. My mind was racing for about half of the session but in a good way. Eventually, I felt a sense of peace sweep over me. Others who have experienced floating say they actually fall asleep. I don't remember falling asleep, but I do remember being very relaxed and all sense of time was lost. When the time limit was reached, a white light gently illuminated the chamber, signaling that my time was up. I stepped into the shower and washed off the salt, then quickly dressed and returned to the lobby. For that 75 minutes, the world simply melted away and I was simply floating in space, in my own private universe. Afterward, I was totally relaxed and could understand how a strand of spaghetti feels. I look forward to my next session, too! If you feel like you want to try this unique relaxation therapy, send me a private message and I'll give you the pertinent details. It's a luxury you owe to yourself.
