The chips were enough for one, but on the rare occasion I dine out on chips, I really dine out on chips. They were scrumptiously chicken salted and cooked well. The only salad without pasta or mayonnaise in it (the greek) had almost sold out when I arrived so the server gave me the rest left over. Unfortunately it didn't have the big chunks of fetta and olives I had seen in the salad the night before so it wasn't amazing. But for those random occurrences when "I feel like chicken tonight" and can't be bothered putting on more than the uggs and tracky dacks, this will probably become my go to. Just get there early before they sell out!

The service was nice, but a little busy at the time and overall we were impressed with the cost of our meal for the quality of the dishes - good seafood ain't cheap people! Inside the cafe, you'll find arcade games which the kids will fancy no doubt whilst the rest stuff their face with this sweet juicy AB. Don't believe it's that good? The source of the rivalry originates from the delightful meal, 'Afterbirth' or sometimes even better, called 'Abortion', shortened to 'AB.' Both cafes claim to have come up with the idea of getting a pile of chips and covering them with yiros meat and a variety of sauces. Sure, I've heard the buzz about the deliciousness of this creation and its ability to cure hangovers, but I cannot abide eating a dish that looks and sounds like this. Shorten it however you please, but it's still named after placenta. I like the Red and White better than the Blue and White because it has groovy arcade games and a wall of fame with heaps of intriguing posters of people drunkenly scoffing AB's. I also think this one has a more chilled out attitude; the Blue and White I find a little less friendly, a little less re-laxed, man. As far as the burgers, you know what? I actually like both. It's a tie. Both serve delicious burgers and accoutrements. At the risk of being called a traitor: I do like Blue and White chips. Am I allowed to love them both?

The food is surprisingly good and there are even a few healthy-ish options, which always bodes well for a kitchen I think. They also still give you bread with your meals, a nice touch and one of the last pubs in Adelaide still doing this.
