We have Baylor Scott & White. LOVE Baylor Scott & White…read more This is about NextCare, which I learned later has only recently has been affiliated with Baylor Scott & White. They are not connected to the BSW system and apparently have not undergone training either. We went to this NextCare Urgent Care facility (Palm Valley and Sunrise in Round Rock) believing we were going to a BSW facility. Service was not up to BSW standards. The receptionist (blue hair streaks) was not friendly or helpful. Kept making me get up to answer questions. There was another person at reception who noticed I was having trouble breathing and walking. At least she walked over to me to sign forms and offered water. The blue hair streaks was better at staying seated and calling me to her. Why she couldn't get all the information on the first go is a mystery. The doctor was nice but not competent. When I failed to get better, I went to a REAL BSW urgent care, the doctor confirmed I was not given the correct prescription. Luckily, I had the forethought to bring the printout from NextCare that summarized the x-ray findings. Thankfully, I started getting better with the right prescription and dosage. I got a bill from NextCare. Just adds insult to injury, so to speak. I would avoid ANY NextCare facility even if Baylor, Scott & White is emblazoned everywhere. It won't be up to BSW standards, at least not for now.

It's been a day since I have gotten back from surgery for a heart ablation done at the Austin Heart…read moreHospital in Round Rock, Texas. I am a patient of Dr. Whitehill there. I am very happy to say that my experience there was fantastic from the point of checking in at the hospital in the morning to being discharged after the procedure was finished and I was ready to leave later on that night. A small army of very nice, very competent people helped me through every step of a rather scary and potentially dangerous operation. The nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff were especially compassionate and listened carefully to all my concerns, and then acted on them. The vibe there was always upbeat and positive. I really felt that these people cared about me and what they were doing. It definitely wasn't just a job for them. I'd like to shout out to the nurses there: Heather, Lexi and Joe. I had a minor complication after surgery and they stood by me, taking turns attending to me until the problem was fixed. Every person that I interacted with was patient, friendly and compassionate. What more can you ask of a hospital? I love to write reviews about food and restaurants, etc, but never about places like hospitals. Let's just say that I need to be very impressed if I am to spend my valuable time writing a review of a hospital. Thank you, Dr. Whitehill and staff. You guys are the best!

While in the hospital a year the nurses kept talking about the Dr. Z & how I'd love him. I'm honestly very disappointed with my experience at Arthur Direct Care…read more My family and I came here specifically for civil surgeon services as part of our immigration/legalization process--something where accuracy is absolutely critical. While my own medical form was completed correctly, the forms for my family members were not. This mistake led to a Request for Evidence (RFE) from USCIS, which delayed our case by several months. On top of the stress and uncertainty, this error cost us real money. Because of the delays and time pressure, I had to pay over $900 out of pocket for additional rounds of vaccinations at the same clinic just to stay on track. This situation could have been avoided with proper attention to detail. For a service that directly impacts legal status and timelines, I expected a much higher level of care and accuracy. I'm sharing this to raise awareness so future patients can double-check their paperwork carefully and avoid going through a similar experience.

Every month she gets same 2 medications, with doctor visit every 3 months, like clockwork. She is otherwise healthy with no medical concerns. However, every month without fail they screw up her prescriptions. Every single month! They usually only call in one, making it so she has to call multiple more times while at work to get it resolved. She calls and visits plenty of time prior to script running out, but by time they get meds called in correctly she's out. This is a ongoing monthly issue and for no good reason.

Based on our conversation and his assessment of my situation he prescribed meds, and scheduled an internal exam. The exam was uncomfortable, but not as mind bending as I thought it would be. Later, my prescription changed a little and then again. He was explaining that my body was responding and adjusting (which is a great thing). The staff has always been helpful. They try to get you in as quickly as possible, and seem to make themselves available for questions should I have any. Test results are always fast. This whole ordeal could have been super ugly. They made it workable....and not horrible. Kudos to Doc Cuellar and his Team!

The previous reviews going back to 2014 are correct when they say Urology Austin has a phone call,…read morefront counter, no call backs, can't talk to a nurse problems. If you need to talk to a nurse the crappy third party can only take a message. You better pray it's not an immediate need because these people will not get back to you for up to a week. We usually have to call again and leave a message again. The time to get to talk to a nurse takes around two weeks. If you miss the call you will not be transferred back to a nurse either. This insane process will start all over. This problem has been notated not only by us for two years with the nurses, Dr. Maloney, the office manager but also on yelp with other patients since 2014. The second problem is the portal. What a worthless, useless unreliable piece of garbage. It doesn't work. We have relayed for two years that it doesn't work. We have told the nurses, the front office staff, the office manager and Dr. Maloney to no resolution. We have been lied to by one of the many office managers who said "it's a new program and we are working the bugs out."I called the two office managers who told me this out and let them know that wasn't true because literally on yelp the same problem with the same exact statement was given to multiple patients over the course of years and I know this because it was recorded as a complaint on yelp since 2014 and even back then the old office manager back then was lying to patients. Third, Urology Austin goes through office managers like water through a faucet. I don't know why but I've overheard office staff commenting about this fact. Thirdly; Dr. Malone doesn't address root causes. He treats symptoms, doesn't answer questions, rushes through your appointment, and if you request more testing, you're ignored. He gloats that he does three surgeries a week. That seems highly excessive. Why is he not solving the problem of why certain conditions are existing to begin with? He also never remembers patients. We don't expect to have a close relationship but after two years and you're still introducing yourself as if it's the first time meeting us, then this doctor should be examined for dementia. Fourthly, front office staff. There one woman in particular. We tried the formal complaint process to no avail. She has her cell phone at the cr desk and plays music on it. Cell phones record everything regardless of whether the record button is on or not. This HIPPA violation was never addressed by the office manager. I was refused information and paperwork to file a formal HIPPA complaint. Fifth; I complained that the third party was asking medical questions. This is a HIPPA. Violation. Again, I was ignored when I requested to file a formal complaint in writing. This area is devoI'd of urologists. This company is taking advantage of this fact and not doing its sworn duty to care for the patient. This is a corporation and they treat the patient like an assembly line.
