Unless you can't stand your insurance, you should do that instead. PROS: - Great service, got right in, no issues with staff. The only reason this isn't a one star review is they did a great job. We were told to wait (about 30-40 min.) and then told to come back to fill out forms. I was in for major oak pollen problems and, instead of treating me for that, they insisted on a "full workup." When I asked why and that it seemed complete overkill to attach heart monitors, etc. (esp. since I had zero individual or family history of heart or lung problems), they acted surprised/offended. I was finally discharged after about 6 hours with scripts for 3 meds. The meds didn't work and I returned Thursday about midnight. The ER lights were all off and it was dark inside. My wife ran inside and got someone telling them I needed a wheelchair. They brought us in right away and then wanted to do a full history. I told them NO - I JUST GAVE ONE HERE JUST A FEW HOURS AGO SO LOOK IT UP. The ER person said they couldn't look up records; her machine would only take me in as a new patient So there I saw, panting to catch my breath, trying to give them info they already had. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. It went downhill from there so, for brevity, I'll stop here. Will NEVER use again.

Yesterday, 8/26/26 I had an appointment for a stress test followed by an appointment with my…read moreCardiologist Dr. Demore. I was charged $67.50 as my co-pay or deductible for the visit. I thought that was an unusual amount to charge but, ok. When I was called by the physical therapist I was told that I would have to pay for the stress test if I did not achieve the levels that they were looking for, in my case a heart rate of 122. I told him I was under the assumption that my insurance would pay for this test as they always had in the past. He told me that medicare did not pay for this procedure. I let him know that I was not covered by medicare I have private insurance and have always had the insurance. He then told me that I needed to take a chemical stress test. I told him no, I do not do needles. Long story short I left to get a refund for the amount I had paid and the clerk gave me a card with the billing department's number for my refund. I went to my car and called my insurance company to ask if I was covered for a stress test I was told yes the authorization had been approved 2 days prior and there was no deductible for this test. The insurance administrator asked to talk with the hospital personnel to clarify this issue and I went back to the clinic to allow the administration to talk with the reception at the clinic. A training person was there who took information from the insurance company and me. He went to the back talked with the people and they told him a completely different story. I left without the stress test and without being the doctor. When I checked my information in the my Chart for BS&W. The therapist falsely entered that I could not get on the treadmill was the reason why the test was not completed. The Doctor reported that I was seen by him, and indicated a cause which was not true. I was not examined or talked with by Dr. Demore. I will be reporting this behavior to the insurance company and to medicare I think this facility is in need of a serious audit by both institutions. And I used to think these were people who cared about their patients. I am devastated.

Everything was professional and very personable. I than had Dr Rice who did my exam, great knowledgeable and friendly doctor. He explained everything in an easy to follow instructions. LeeAnn Radiology Tech and Savanna ER tech very friendly and all made me comfortable in my stomach pain. I will never go to another ER, this one is the best. I am referring anyone I can. The care team was different for each visit but everyone we came in contact with was friendly and engaging. We dealt with an ankle fracture on one visit and an arm injury on another. Both were handled with care and treated quickly. Our second visit was a walk-in and it became apparent that making an appt (even after walking in) was needed because we kept getting bumped as the appts were coming in. Note to the wise, make an appt, even if you're on your way in to do a walk-in or you will continue to lose your spot in line to the incoming appointments.

The radiology tech was one of the nicest people I've met in a minute! The doctor actually spoke to me like a real person. This was in stark contrast to the CareNow clinic I visited earlier in the day wherein the doc stared at his computer screen as he typed the whole time he was in the room with me. At Ally, the doc had a conversation and let me have a voice in my care plan. She actually seemed like she cared about what was going on with me even though we didn't really figure it out. She made she I was safe to go about life and try to figure it out with my pcp, which was all I needed. I had seen the Ally logo around but didn't know what it was. Now I know they are my emergency medicine ally! Hope I don't have to go back, but know I'll choose Ally over anywhere else if I do.

The doctor took time with us and explained everything very well. What I am absolutely disgusted by is that the billing told us what our portion would be for an upcoming procedure and lied to us. I called, my husband called, and then we triple checked by calling them again and a manager call us back to verify what our portion would be. It was someone from Houston and then I think someone from up here in Austin called us as well and reassured us. We were told one amount which was our deductible is all we would owe and not any other amounts. We asked are you sure because we usually have a .,% coinsurance. They told us no the deductible of $** amount is all you will be responsible for, no coinsurance. So we chose this facility due to what they told us or we would have stayed at the other children's hospital down the street. At least the other place told us the truth that there would be separate charges for different things like anesthesia, anesthesiologist , surgery center, doctors fee, and etc. and we would be paying our deductible and coinsurance. So far now with Texas Childrens, we have been billed separately for all of those and a few more. Even a month later, yet another charge after we thought it was all settled and no more bills. It is unbelievable. Also I advise if you decide go there, not to do blood tests at the lab inside Texas Children's Hospital. We were billed differently for tests that would have been covered 100% at other labs. If you bring a lab test up to the doctor's office like they suggest, then they charge you a facility fee or it may have been charged at the lab, couldn't tell because their billing is so confusing and they blend the charges into separate bills that are similar. They also charge facility fees for each visit. So if your regular doctor's visit is a copay of $50, your amount you owe will be $50 plus their facility fee. Once was charged Facility fees of $189 and another time $35. We will not be back. For all their beautiful luxury feeling inside, we can see why they have to charge all these fees now. Also not surprised they have to lay off people and close down their urgent care. If you bill the heck out of your patients and over charge them, they will not come back and word of mouth is a powerful thing.
