Idk how this place has so many good reviews. Even for an affordable price, that was NOT worth it. I got a full body 60 min table massage & while my shoulders were rubbed out decently, the rest of my back, legs, & feet were just moving the oil around on the surface of my skin. I'm not tough either, so it's not like I just needed a deeper massage. It was literally like they just painted me with oil over & over. Also, to top it off it was very cold & I had goosebumps (not the good kind) the whole time. They also ended the massage with awkward butt pats. Not worth the money at all. What an awful experience! Booked a 2:30 appointment online for a combo 1 (40mins Foot Relax+15mins Hand Relax) after going in earlier and being told they had no availability. When I arrived for my appointment, several others arrived after me, they were all brought back for their appointments on time, but I waited for 10 minutes before the guy working the front desk told me they could give me a combo 2 (40mins Foot Relax+15mins Chair Relax) instead. I explained I really wanted the hand massage, which he told me they could do in the chair. Problem 1: The massage chair was only a few feet from the front desk, directly in front of where employees went to get new towels/sheets and other supplies and in the hallway were you have to walk to get to the bathroom and massage rooms. Not relaxing or calming. Problem 2: The person working the front desk was the person who gave me the chair massage. He answered calls via an ear piece the entire time he did my massage. Twice he stopped to book other appointments. Towards the end of the massage, he apologized for taking so many calls. Minus the disruption of the calls the massage was severely lacking, not relaxing and overall worthless. Problem 3: After the chair massage, he had me go back to the lobby to wait for my foot massage. At which point. he tells me that he gave me a 25 minute chair massage "at no additional cost", so my foot massage would be 35 minutes. At this point, I was so mad that I just laughed and hoped my shortened foot massage would somehow redeem this shitty experience. Problem 4: After waiting a few minutes for my foot massage (probably about 10 minutes between waiting in the lobby and waiting again for the masseuse to come to the room), I took note that the time was 3:15. The foot massage was medicore at best and considering it was 3:30 by the time I got into my car, it was short, not even 15 minutes. This place is a joke! I left not feeling relaxed, calmed or massaged, but instead, I felt like I had been scammed out of time and money. read more

First off, I have always had good massages here and have become a regular. I am a 20 year massage therapist, instructor, examiner, former clinic owner, and author featured in Massage & Bodywork Magazine. To say that I am a connoisseur of massage would be an understatement. It says something that I have become a regular. However, this place is a bit quirky. I have had a different therapist every time despite requesting the same "Mike" from the scheduler. Mike v.1 was great, but so was Mike v.2 through Mike v.5. I have requested "Jenny" and got Mike in the beginning. I miss Mike, but I'm still happy with all the other versions of Mike I have received. Mind you, none of the licenses on the wall say Jenny or Mike. Every massage is pretty standardized. The therapists only vary slightly in their personalization of the massage treatments. Hot stones come with all the full body sessions even if you tell them "no hot stones", but I think that's because it's the owner/front desk that is the main person that speaks English. The therapists check in with "Okay?" but they don't appear to be able to say much more than that. Needless to say this becomes a problem if you're looking for a therapeutic experience to address a specific issue. I keep going back because the prices are reasonable, there's always a version of Mike or Jenny available, and the experience is relatively predictable. Where they could improve is by actually assigning Mike or Jenny instead of randomized whom ever is available or just change the scheduler to say "first available" and then "male or female" for therapist selection - don't even bother making it look like you'll get whoever you selected. Secondly, they could teach their staff a little more English so they understand the feedback from the client a bit better. Lastly, I would recommend doing away with the distinctly Chinese restaurant elevator music that occasionally busts out in electric guitar and replace it with nature sounds or something else relaxing without vocals. Overall, I will continue to visit because it's reliably a good experience that I can afford to make a habit. read more

I did the combo 2 (40 minutes foot reflexology, 20 minutes back massage), and it was amazing. I've gotten back into running (again) and my body needed some attention. They hit all the right areas with good pressure. It's not the frilly spa experience, but they know what they are doing. I highly suggest going even if it's just for a quick chair massage after hauling heavy bags groceries from the nearby HEB. I do not know what they good reviews are for, I did not have a good experience. The person giving the massage stayed on the same part of my back the entire time. The pressure was not good, and although friendly, just not proficient. She tried numerous times to get my necklace off, after Intold her no - she continued to yank on it. She did not do front, shoulders , or chest - but tried to upsell for more time. I declined, as I did when I entered thank goodness. Loud with food smells ( it was lunch time) - just not a good , relaxing experience. In way out they want cash ( go figure ( , after telling me card was OK). The Hot Stones were good, so habe 2 stars. I love walk in massages! Being a working mom and wife my days are always busy and to schedule a massage sounds more stressful than relaxing to me. I love the ability to be spontaneous and just run to go get a 45 minute foot/chair massage here. I think personally it is a great price and you should respect the type of business when entering. I see so many complain about "language barriers" the second you walk it you can see that they may be communication struggles if that is a problem to you, you shouldn't have sat down.
