I made the decision 3 years ago that instead of taking any medications or winding up the emergency room that I would see a massage therapist. I have experimented with people over the years in different areas I have lived and nobody comes close to what Diedre does. She specializes as an orthopedic massage therapist, but also does lymphatics and ankyloglossia (tongue tied mainly in children). Since I have started seeing Diedre, I have not wound up in the emergency room for my back spasms ever. During this covid pandemic when she was shut down for months my back could feel the difference and it was the first time I had to take a muscle relaxer a couple times in years. I have an extremely high pain tolerance, and have had most massage therapists say its strange how deep they can go without it hurting me while they are doing it. Diedre does deep tissue massage but in a way where you don't feel like you were beaten the next day while working out more kinks/knots then the people who use their elbows to do the same thing. Lastly, she does this service in her home and has the most amazing and friendly dog ever. I don't know how you could walk away not smiling when you see him and experience Diedre's warm personality. I received laser treatment for a toenail fungus. It cost 600 hundred dollars. When I showed up for a follow-up appointment (scheduled several weeks in advance), no one was there. No one answered the phone. I waited 20 minutes and finally someone came to the door (this was in the middle of the day). The owner was moving -- unaware that I had an appointment scheduled, although she had been present when I scheduled the appointment. She said that she would be there in 15 minutes. I returned, but she was not there. I was told that she was not coming in. I then called her back (twice, the first time there was no answer). She said that she had sent me a text message rescheduling. Since I had just spoken with her, I found this odd. I found it even more odd that the text message she said she sent went to a number that was not mine. I said that I was starting to worry that I was a victim of a scam. She said that was insulted and would not work with me any more. She said she would return my money the following week. When I called her the following week, she refused to give me a full refund -- despite the fact that it is a stated and advertised policy of her store -- but would only refund me 425 dollars.

Dr. Bonnie starts every session with a brief consultation where she asks how I've been feeling, if I have any concerns or particular issues to address, and during it all she takes notes. She then creates a customized acupuncture plan to address my needs. The session lasts just over an hour. Dr. Bonnie also offers other services - I think she has a massage therapist who works with her, and they also do cupping - but I have only worked with her for medical consultations (to review bloodwork results and talk about vitamins and supplements) and acupuncture. In terms of the office, it is easy to find, right on Rt. 332 just outside the north end of the village of Canandaigua. The office is in an old brick building that used to be a trolley terminal. There is street parking in front of the office and also parking in the back. Inside the office there is a small cozy waiting room and there are at least 4, maybe 6, rooms outfitted with massage-table-type cots and side tables and chairs. Usually you meet with Dr. Bonnie in this room then get on the table for your treatment. I definitely recommend Dr. Bonnie for acupuncture, and also feel she is a great naturopathic resource if you are also looking for someone to consult with in addition to a western-style primary care physician. She is knowledge, kind and curious, and is very focused on individual wellness.

I had gotten a manual lymphatic drainage massage in CA and wasn't a full believer, but after my session with Jaadin, I felt considerable less swelling and felt my healing progress more in days after seeing Jaadin than I in the full 3 months prior.
