This location is in La Jolla Village, about a 10 minute drive from UTC. Parking is available right out front, but since it is located in a shopping plaza with several other restaurants and stores, the parking lot can definitely get busy. I usually come here during the weekdays, and surprisingly it is still pretty crowded around 1:00 PM. Even with how busy it gets, the store is always very organized, clean, and well stocked. I rarely have trouble finding what I need because the staff are constantly restocking the shelves. One thing I really like about this location is that it also has Amazon returns, which makes it super convenient if you need to drop off a package while grocery shopping. Some of my favorite items to buy here are the Simple Mills crackers. They are gluten free, made with simple ingredients, and taste so much better than a lot of processed crackers. I also love shopping for their fresh produce because they offer a great selection, including produce from local farms, which is always nice to see. Overall, I would definitely keep coming back to this Whole Foods. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the store is clean and organized, and they have a great variety of high quality groceries and healthier food options.

You honestly can't go wrong with any of those bakery items. I also love their hot bar, ~$12 per pound. There are always a variety of options, usually I see tikka masala, chicken tenders, rice, samosas. I usually add some of the premade salads from the cold bar too. Just have to be careful as it is easy to get carried away and get TOO much food, lol. Some items can taste a bit dry (since they sit on the hot bar all day), but for the most part, it's a solid quick meal. We decided to both get subscriptions which were $79 per month and included the testing of our poop every 6 months to make sure we had a customized probiotic. We also received a call from a staff member to go over our report from the test. A new CEO has entered the organization and we received an email today that starting in September, (a few weeks from now) the subscription will go up to $99 per month, no call to go over your report, and the re-test every 6 months will be $249. When we signed up for the subscription, we thought it was expensive, but with my husband going through cancer treatment, and my own personal health reasons, we were willing to pay the monthly $79 a month BECAUSE the 6 month test was FREE. I am very disappointed in Sun Genomics/Flore. The fact that they provided such a short notice of the change to the subscription shows their lack of concern towards their current customers. It also makes the product completely out of reach to afford for people who may need it the most. This is my first on-line review, but I will complete multiple reviews on this company because of this horrible impact on customers with this change. It is a shame because the products have been good and the service has been great up until this change. If they needed to make a better profit, they could have increased the monthly subscriptions (with more notice) and given current customers at least their next test sample for free before starting a $249 fee for the test! They are receiving two stars because the product is good, the report is great and the process of receiving the probiotics has been good. They could have received a 5 star rating, but the lack of being customer centric by raising costs this extreme with little notice is the worst customer experience I have had with a monthly subscription of any kind.
