I almost don't want to review Dr. Behtash because I don't want competition for appointment slots ;)…read moreBut, I believe that sharing is caring on Yelp -- and Solmaz Behtash is one of the most caring doctors I have ever encountered. Dr. Behtash was recommended to me by my doctor at Memorial Hospital, Dr. Susanna Magee - who was my doctor for both of my pregnancies. I enjoyed Dr Magee's style, ease of emailing communication, and asked for her to recommend a local provider to be my regular physician. Dr. Behtash runs a micro office, which allows her to spend a ton more time with her patience -- you set up your appointments, and even email her through an app or online. This helps because she is the one who writes back to you - not a nurse! My first visit with her was about an hour. She took the time to truly understand me and my history, and has been incredibly kind at subsequent visits. She is young, knowledgable, warm, and welcoming - and I 100% recommend her to others! My husband just made the switch, and he said the quality of care was unlike anything he had ever experienced. And the best part - barely any waiting for my appointment!

Review #700 One of…read morethe reasons we moved to RI is because of the specialty care providers in this area. One of those is Dr Chopra. He is a doctor who people fly into see from all over the world, and RI just happens to be lucky enough to call him theirs! After months of being on his wait list, I finally was able to have an appointment with him. For his consultation appointment, it's a 5 hour endeavor, so literally and figuratively pack a lunch. Because it is 5 hours, no insurance will cover it, so you have to sign a form stating you understand, and have to pay the $800 out of pocket. After the first visit, the following appointments are an hour and can be billed to insurance. I brought my hubby with me to make sure we asked him all the questions we had, and Dr Chopra was warm, understanding, and patient with us. His evaluation is the most thorough I've ever had, literally assessing every part of your body from head to toe. He has many out of the ordinary ideas for treatments for people with complex cases, and thinks out of the box which is refreshing. The wait is extensive, the cost is expensive, but the attention and dedication is second to none. If you need specialty care, and have the time and finances to go to Dr Chopra, he might very well just change your life. I wish every doctor was as wonderfully caring as Pradeep Chopra!

I felt at ease the moment he walked in the door and like I've known him forever as I walked out the door. He is honestly a real nice guy. And I'm so happy I found someone I truly trust.. Finally! He actually said ahhhhh as I showed him a picture of my kids.. And we all know, no one really cares to look at other people's kids photos lol. Especially if you don't even know them. So, knowing he had a very long day and I was his last client. He was kind and Ernest. His family and friends are very lucky people to have this man in their everyday lives.

Administrative Dysfunction Undermines Clinical Excellence…read more Having worked in a surgical ICU at a large metropolitan hospital for several years during my studies, I recognize what professional healthcare operations should look like. Dr. Mansourati and Nurse Practitioner Ducharme deliver competent clinical care and demonstrate solid medical expertise. Unfortunately, the administrative operations at this practice fall substantially below acceptable standards, fundamentally compromising the patient experience. In properly managed facilities, administrative personnel facilitate care rather than impede it. Here, routine interactions prove unnecessarily burdensome, and front office demeanor frequently registers as dismissive rather than patient-centered. When individuals are navigating health challenges, administrative friction compounds their burden and represents a failure of essential service. Particularly disheartening is watching capable clinical providers have their efforts consistently undermined by operational deficiencies. Healthcare demands collaboration across all levels. When administrative conduct works against patient welfare, it negates even skilled medical work. Until substantial improvements are made, I recommend seeking care elsewhere.

I would highly advise going elsewhere if you need to come in contact with Rebecca the "Office…read moreManager." From my interactions and perspective, she is abusive and quick to remind you she doesn't "have" to fill the medication she already confirmed you needed with your treating doctor. I woke up with pain radiating down my neck, spine, and arms to a point where I still can't move my upper body. I had been in to see Connie Ducharme a few months back for the same issue (less intense at the time). I called Fairlawn primary care this morning and asked for medication (not opiates) to help with the pain while I work on getting x-rays. I get a VM from Rebecca stating that my PA sent the script to a pharmacy I haven't used in years, which I had already updated with Fairlawn at my last visit, but THEY left it in the system. I called back and proceeded to ask if it could be transferred to my local pharmacy because I am in so much pain I can't drive long distances. I can't move my neck to switch lanes or sit up for long periods of time, etc. No empathy provided. Just Rebecca taking the phone and coming down my throat full force. Rebecca took the phone from the receptionist and proceeded to yell at me. "It's not Fairlawn's problem you have multiple pharmacies on file" - my response was "it was because I updated them during my last visit." I also reminded her that my prior medications a few months ago were sent to the correct CVS, why wasn't this one? She did not have any answers to my questions. She proceeded to say to me "every time you call you have an attitude." That is bullying and took me back. Especially because the last time I was in the office, Rebecca told me to drop her name if I wanted my boyfriend to become a patient, even though Fadi wasn't accepting anymore. Why extend that olive branch to a person that's always a problem? Gaslighting as its finest. Ethics complaint will be filed with the state when I am contacted with Rebecca's remaining details. Upholding patient autonomy, beneficence, and justice means respecting a patient's right to self-determination (autonomy), acting in their best interest (beneficence), and ensuring fair, equitable treatment for all (justice). My best interest was not acted in, Rebecca's was. Bullying me and threating to withhold medication is in direct violation with Rhode Island's Healthcare Ethics.
