Even after verifying it, I was told I would still have to be put in as self pay because they needed to physically scan the card. That policy honestly makes no sense to me. Not everyone carries their physical insurance card at all times, especially when going to urgent care unexpectedly. The whole situation could have been handled much more professionally and with better communication.

Dr. L. sees our entire family when we are sick and she is genuine, kind and the office does what they can to squeeze you in, especially if you or your children are more than cough-cough sick. I see Dr. K annually and I love their office because not only do they remember you, but they keep their word on your appointment time. There is hardly a wait or lag in wait-time. Prompt is key for a yearly visit that most ladies dread. I have a less than stellar insurance policy and I was shocked that this facility, only a mile from my doorstep, is one of the few to accept my insurance. What a pleasure to not need to drive fifty miles away to have someone tend to my sick son or fix a boo-boo.

They were able to take an x-ray. Give my mom a Cortizone shot in her knee. The man at the door I wish I would've got his name. He was outstanding. I pulled up. He greeted us at the car got a wheelchair for my mom checked her in while I went and parked the car and did the same when we exited the building what a fantastic gentleman. The woman that helped us I think her name was Trish Tricia, Dr. Tricia, who gave the Cortizone shot and spoke with us was outstanding well educated clear speaking just very kind human. My mom was pain-free within minutes after having the Cortizone shot and was able to walk into her apartment building by the time we got home.

At sign in, i was told i was "very early". Showed receptionist my paperwork that was sent to me. I was on time based on the info mailed to me. She then began to tell me that "the other office sent the wrong info". None of what she was telling me matched the paperwork i had in my hand from the "other office". Not my fault both offices dont communicate. Poor planning and time management to be sure. Then the receptionist rudely told me to call my ride to be back by 915am to take me home. I wasnt even supposed to be done with the procedure by 915. One hour later i was being wheeled out. Seriously? Dr. Ahmed and the nursing staff were great, but the front office people and scheduling people need some help with their people skills, time management and organization. For the scheduling difficulty and rude reception, i wouldnt return here.

There was no chiding and no scorn: "just keep driving," the voice on the other side said patiently. "Let us know when you get here." I speeddemoned it over and they took him right away. I sat comfortably in the waiting room and they updated me as appropriate. Five stars from me. Here's David's take from the patient side: "They were gracious about answering my questions.
