I had A talk with Wells Fargo A little while back about how banks operate. The only way A bank is in business is because so many people agree to come together and share money. Which is nonsense . UPDATE! Fast forward a couple of years later, I am pleased to announce I have officially closed all of my Wells Fargo accounts. My Stepdad passed away a few months ago (see previous review for details regarding the 1 star review) and after making sure it's legally clear, I closed our accounts at first opportunity. I also made sure I didn't do it here but from another branch. The crappy experience from that last run was enough of a deterrent. Good riddance. read more

Wells Fargo LAZ parking had me towed in 30 minutes with 20 open spaces in the lot. Really, It makes sense to move my car 20 feet for each business I was visiting. Had business on each corner of the intersection. At the hospital for blood draw, went to church's chicken for food since I was fasting. Last business was to go WF and check on CD rates and saving account since I'm going to be employee across the street. Great first impression!! car towed. Wells Fargo doesn't even know the definition of customer service. I charged the tow on the Wells Fargo Card, because I'm not a customer. LOL They have lost my business permanently!! 2015 I closed both checking and saving before it was announce they were creating unauthorized accounts. This is literally THEE worst Wells Fargo I've ever visited!!!! I just scrolled down & have come to realize, leaving a review is somewhat pointless. This is similar to the Spirit airlines experience. To the executive folks at the top, you should do better! I understand that this location is in the 90247, however, customer service should matter & it definitely falls at the waist side. I'm a world where time is money you'd think an appointment at a bank, Keeper of Money, would be handled with greater care and hold the highest priority. Apparently at this Wells Fargo branch, this is not the case. My business partner, and I both had an appointment today at 10 AM. Yesterday, Mario called me to confirm the appointment and that it was assigned to him. He informed me that he would be off but his coworker, Nancy was informed and trained to handle the reason for my visit (to open a new Businss Checking Account). at this point I was under the impression that in the system it would be assigned to her. Fast forward to this morning at approximately 8:20 AM (40 minutes prior to the bank opening), we rescheduled our appointment by one hour to 11 AM. Apparently, the notification of this went to Mario and Nancy did not become aware and presumably considered us a "no-show". Upon our arrival at our new time, 11 AM, we were informed that Nancy had another customer and that we would have to wait for her as she was the only other employees trained for Business accounts at this branch. I inquired whether the walk-in customer she was helping could be helped by another banker and was told that this is not possible due to "customer experience". While I do understand that, the fact is we had an appointment and again time is money. My business partner and I specifically set time in our schedules aside to go to accomplish this today. Furthermore, I do not live in this side of town and spent my time in LA traffic and gas to not accomplish my goal of the visit. What about our customer experience? Furthermore, the customer's issue was something that could have been addressed by another banker from our understanding. The best solutions the bank was able to come up with was to suggest we wait--initially we were told at least 45 minutes but then also told by Nancy herself 20-30 more minutes--before we could begin the hour to hour and a half long process of opening our business banking account, or attempt to locate another branch we would visit to open the account. Beyond that, they suggested we coming back later and informed us they closed at 4. Again, in a world where time is money this would not work for us. We came when it was convenient for us and set an appointment to ensure it was convenient for them. Worse case with waiting I we would have spent over 2 hours in the bank because their system was not designed to accommodate what has occurred when the "assigned banker" for our appointment is unavailable. We did attempt to contact other banking locations but either they had no availability, no one on site trained to handle opening a business account (which baffles me because this is the core of the Bank's business), or simply unavailable to/did not answer the phone. Ultimately this has been the worst banking customer experience for us and the staff did not have a working solution to handle our banking needs. Regardless of whether Nancy did not receive a notification our appointment modification, there was a staff member checking people in on an iPad. It is beyond me as to why he did not see our appointment was upcoming. As a personal account holder of numerous Wells Fargo accounts and accounts at other Banks, this is by far my worst experience. read more

In a situation like this, in most cases it would be time to blow your top!!! This branch actually deserves a zero. These employees act as if they are giving you money. You can only meet with an account person on a appointment two weeks out. No one greets you. Attitude poor at teller window. I worked at this bank 15 years in corporate offices and it never occurred to me to treat colleagues or clients anything less than professional. It's difficult to deposit money and withdrawals. I regret I cannot take this retirement account to a better financial institution.. I do not recommend Wells Fargo for banking needed. read more

By far the the 2nd worst bank i've ever been to. The 1st being the Wells Fargo on Victoria and Avalon down the street. Everytime i come here on my 1 hr lunch break im late coming back to work. I hate to leave an ugly review because I honestly like this bank and have a great history with them. However today's transaction definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. I brought in around $200 in coins and wanted to deposit into my account. I waited in the regular line for about 5-7 minutes. When I got to a teller she stated she doesn't accept coins & to wait in the business line. So here I am holding $200 worth of coin waiting in another line.... When I get to the business teller I can tell by her attitude it's been a long day (girl it's only 11:45 get that mean mug off your face). She throws me a bag and tells me to count my coins and throw it in the bag. I did it and she watched me while looking at her phone. I had a deposit slip ready with the exact amounts listed. Wtf ?? Hahaha. Anywho once lil miss happy is done she brings her manager over to tell me they only accept $100 max in coins at a time. I asked her if this was a new rule going forward or what? Manager (who was previously arguing/yelling with another customer) says I don't know but we don't accept more than $100 of coin at a time. Cool, thanks bro !! I love Wells Fargo. I used to work for Wells myself and thought it was a great place to work. However recently the tellers have taken a turn for the worse. By far the second worst bank I ever dealt with first one was US Bank in Ventura Boulevard and this Wells Fargo bank on 1222 Redondo Beach Blvd., Gardena, CA. I came here to cash a 10,000 1/2 check considering that this is my own bank away banquet but I live in Mission Hills as I was in the area I came here to catch check everything seem to be going well until one of their tellers had to get confirmation from manager Leonor Martinez who at the time she represented herself as a manager G say that she was not going to cash my check and if I wanted to get the full amount I will have to get it from my own account I ask her the reason she did not gave me a proper reason I asked her if it was because of my appearance or something wrong with my account you couldn't give me a real reason I ask is I let her know that I have cash checks bigger text Dentist and my hometown but because I was in the area I decided to come here and do the same considering that is my own bank and same company. I had an excellent experience here this morning. Everyone at the branch was courteous and professional. As I entered the building there was someone to greet me and ask if there was anything that person could do to assist in my business with them. They also handed out free mini-bottles of water to those waiting in line. The line went by really quickly, and there were no problems along the way. Okay, banking procedure is and they know most people do not know this, if you have an endorsement guarantee from your bank for a valid open business checking account and 2 forms of positive ID. The issuing Bank of the check is to cash it upon demand. Not Wells Fargo Bank. They like to make their own rules and try to force you to buy a cashier's check for $10.00. This is for the ATM/location only. It's conveniently located and near lots of shopping centers/stores. The parking lot entrance is a bit tight, but the rest plenty of parking in the lot behind the bank. I've came into this branch 3 different time to get a debit card replacement. First time it was a hour wait, second time computers were down, third time is was a hour wait again. Visited this branch to open a joint account with my dad. My dad lives in another state and I was told by another branch manager that it was possible to do so, but that my father had to be at a branch at the same time I was at my local branch. She explained that the bankers would pretty much comunícate with each each other to get the he process started and get the proper documents signed from both of us. So I decided to head over to my local branch and as I arrived I explained to the person they had greeting people in the lobby what I was there to do. She said she didn't think that was possible and went to go ask a banker. Then she came back and said the baker informed her that, that process was up to their managers discretion and that he was at lunch and he would be an hour. I asked if they had an assistant branch manager and she said no, we only have one manager. Which I was surprised since most banks won't just have their branches unattended while their branch manager is out to lunch. I would imagine in the event of a robbery or some sort of emergency they would want someone there. I sat there and waited around and someone else came out saying they were in charge and they would have the manager call me when he was in. Well that was just a way to get me out of there I guess cause it's been hours and I have yet to hear from this person. To make it worse as my father sat at his local WF in Albuquerque, the rep helping him told him the process was possible, but lengthy and it required a lot of manual forms to be filled out. So if two other employees have said yes it's possible and both have communicated the same process to me I can only think that the employees at this particular branch didn't want to bother helping me. Maybe it was too much to ask for and customer service is not a priority so they lie or make their own policy. I currently bank with Chase and the only reason why I am bothering with WF is because there are no Chase branches in Albuquerque. Otherwise I would have pre-authorized my father on my Chase account and avoided the head ache. read more

My fiancée, who runs a business in Gardena, can't leave work all day long enough to save time to go to the bathroom to provide a satisfactory service to the customer, so I have to take the responsibility of going to the bank to save money almost every day. However, it is very unpleasant to meet the manager Jennifer and Randy at this branch in the morning. I've never seen them say hello, and when I deposit with a Debit Card, I treat them as if they were interrogating at the police station (sometimes preventing deposits rather than withdrawals), as if they were a customer (as if my sons and daughters were similar in age) The service is messed up as if I'm dealing with it, so I don't like to face such rude humans from the morning, but as a business owner, I have to go somewhere close because I have to be busy in the morning. When it comes to business with the staff, there is no problem, but there is a trick that makes you feel like a warrior who occasionally appears somewhere and goes to work to fight customers. Perhaps looking at these two reviews, I will guess that it is not my own feelings. I don't understand how they are manager with a service spirit that doesn't have basics. Or, if they have a personality problem, they better go to the doctor, and I don't know why they're giving their crooked minds to customers. They are not really professional, I'm really sorry for the time I had to write this article. I was shocked by Wells Fargo to see such a rude manager working in the service industry of the bank. Overly staffed bank little help. Staff is just wondering around in the lobby, merchant services has only one teller assigned "quite ridiculous". Waited almost 25 min in line, so a regular teller can help thereafter. I asked why only one merchant teller, she said there's more just in the middle of something. No need to waste time or go through such for simple business deposits. I hope branch manager or DM can make adjustments to this branch. Waste of labor. read more

I've been coming to this bank since 2010 and have always found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. It's clean and always decorated for the holidays and there is always someone to greet you at the door and they always have water and lollipops. And if you don't feel like getting out of your car there are always the drive up ATM machines! read more
