It's a small branch. There are only 2 tellers, so it's only natural to expect a line even on some random non-rush hour midweek afternoon. But these tellers were pretty efficient. There were about 5 peeps ahead of me and they averaged less than 2 minutes with each customer. I kinda felt bad because my transaction was going to take way more than that. (I needed to make a withdrawal to purchase a cashier's check.) Then my turn came up and I realized - as I walked up to the teller - that I forgot the information in my car. Teller was a great sport telling me to get whatever it is I needed outta the car and that I didn't have to get back in line when I got back, "Just stand on the side..." So I did as instructed. And the projected more than 2-minute wait for my transaction!? I was right. It took longer than that, but less than 5, so it was still more than reasonable. I was walking outta there feeling like I just got there. The transaction was fast. Good first run. I've actually been happy with every Chase bank I've been to. Sandra Del Torres, is the most unprofessional banker they have. I went into the bank today April 29th, to open an account for my daughter. As I walked into the branch, Sandra greeted me and said Good morning I can help you, I walked into her office and proceeded telling her what I needed. Once she was done with the first thing I needed help with, she said "my appointment is here" I said "okay but I'm not done" she then proceeded to tell that I had to leave her office because her appointment was here and that she was no longer going to help me. First off if she was waiting for an appointment she should of never took another customer, especially not knowing how long that transaction will take. Secondly, she could have communicated that she had an appointment but failed to do so. I then asked her to speak to a supervisor, because I found it extremely unprofessional to get kicked out the office just because her appointment was here. I went ahead and explained the situation to Symone Jones the supervisor she took over the rest of the transaction but directed me to go sit at a corner. Not once did she apologize for her bankers behavior or made me feel welcome. I finally received the paperwork I was waiting for not from the supervisor who took my passport and social security card but another banker by the name of Jalen. I visited this location two days in a row.. Yesterday (11-14-23) and today (11-15-23) and both times I was in and out of the line in a reasonable amount of time. The first time I waited in line and was told to make an appointment with Tanya. (I didn't get to meet her) I came for my appointment today to open a new account. There was no wait in the line because I came early, I was informed by one of the tellers that there would be a wait.. Eddie, the manager, is who ended up helping me. He came out and mentioned to me that he didn't want me to be waiting for awhile and that he would help me. (Which he did) Eddie was very quick and he was very professional, he explained the entire process and the benefits that come with having an account here at chase. I have no complaints about the professionalism that was displayed from any of the employees here. They were all very courteous and very professional. This is the worst bank eveeeeeer!!!! Im not really quit sure what they are trying to do? This bank just recently opened and the indoor construction is completely different from the other Chase bank. lets start by saying that there is only 1 yes 1 !!! open counter, to help all the customers. Ideally they did this to indulge the customers to seek assistance from the two automated ATM machines in the middle of the lobby. I'm not saying I am not capable of using the ATM machines, it just that they have limited service. once and a while I would need more advice and different transactions that the machines cannot deliver. Trust me I am not the only one that feel the same way. as a result I would have to go to a long ass line just to speak to someone. Granted they try to speed up the service, but I feel so bad for the bank tellers going back and forth in between rooms just to finish one transaction. I like Chase but this branch is an epic fail. The company should have studied the behavior of customers when it comes to using the ATM machines and that no matter how sophisticated they are, human service is still highly preferred. My family and I went into a chase branch to add eachother onto our children's accounts. We signed in, there were 3 other clients ahead of us and of course waited our turn. Seconds before they called us a client by the name of Patrice showed up, signed in and sat down. We were literally up next when Lorena, the banker, saw her friend Patrice and took her in immediately. Before taking her in Lorena asked where on the list was she and said she didn't know. I told her we were next and she said "oh she had an appointment". Today 2/26/22 Sat, I had a very unpleasant experience with this Chase. One of my bank accounts was closed for a while, so I couldn't print bank statements online on my own and I asked them to assist me with that matter. After I waited for almost an hour, a representative finally told me the person who has access to my closed account was back. He guided me to the black girl who also worked at the counter, then she told me she couldn't locate my old account and so she couldn't print me the bank statements I requested. She started arguing with me, but I calmly explained it to her it's an old account and I asked her to check it again. After she got my SSN, she found my account and printed me the bank statements in a very damn rude way. I didn't even show my attitude at all after I waited you for almost an hour because I know you guys were busy. She didn't even apologize that she messed up. She just hang me the papers and wanted me to leave already. It was clearly her fault she didn't check all my accounts before she told me she couldn't find my old account. I am a long time member. Just came in to open a new savings account for my 2 yr old son. I was told the wait was about 20 mins. I was the third person in line. In the reason for the visit I put new account. I guess that's something none of the chase agent wanted to do. Everyone before me got call and left, it's my turn the lady agent said you want to open a new account. I was yes she said I have a 2pm appointment it will take another 30 mins before they can see me. Interesting pilot type of branch where they dont have the tellers behind glass. You have two automated machines with bankers to assist you which they say creates a more "personal experience." I don't think it is more efficient since one machine can get tied up with slower customers or someone doing multiple transactions. Cute bank but no organization whatsoever! Which way do I go? Where is the line? Which counter is open? These are questions that you will ask yourself as you walk into the doors and just stand there. It's also not a great place to go if one is not familiar with touch screens (Seniors who aren't familiar with technology....like my grandma.). They will be all confused. You are allowed to withdraw up to $3,000 from the ATM, anything over that amount you have to wait for a teller which it's normally just one at the open counter. If not you have to wait for the one teller at the one window that they have. The ONLY reason why I come to this location is because it's close to home. Then you would have a teller that pops in and out of the door to help here and there. For goodness sake, just open the window and help out the customers. Then you would have employees inside their office cubicles doing nothing to help customers. Avoid at all cost if you want to wait 20-30 mins in line. Better off driving an extra 5 mins to get to another branch or even another bank! FYI, this problem existed before the closure of the branch on Rosecrans.
