My boss asked me to write this review on behalf of him regarding two "not the smartest" people in the banking industry. The Hispanic guy "Erik Bernal" and his boss "Some Asian guy" I had a very frustrating experience at this branch today. I arrived around 2:00 PM and didn't leave until nearly 2:54 PM, mostly due to delays verifying something as basic as my home address. Two staff members spent over 30 minutes trying to confirm my address, relying heavily on Google Maps imagery. Because the map showed a street view rather than clearly displaying the apartment complex, they concluded that my address was "incorrect." The issue is that my address is valid--it's a real apartment complex, and this could have been verified through more reliable internal systems or standard address verification tools. I felt like I was being investigated for a crime. Instead, I was left waiting while they conducted what felt like unnecessary research, only to reach an incorrect conclusion. This not only wasted my time but also showed a lack of familiarity with common address verification methods. Experiences like this make it clear why this branch struggles with customer satisfaction. Basic processes should be handled more efficiently and accurately, especially when customers are taking time out of their day to visit in person. I hope the branch improves staff training and uses better tools for verifying customer information, because this level of service is not acceptable. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this branch. I arrived at the door at 4:59 PM--just one minute before closing--but the staff had already locked the doors and refused to let me in. This felt extremely unprofessional, especially given the posted closing time of 5:00 PM. In general, the customer service at Wells Fargo has been consistently poor. Many bankers seem to lack adequate knowledge. I've asked the same question to three different bankers and received three completely different answers. I also opened a CD account with them and was promised a certain rate, but after they held my money for seven months, I never received the rate initially discussed. WF deserves the title of most dishonest bank. They send you invitations to open an account get $325. They pretend to help you to transfer monthly deposit but drag it so long till 3 months is over. Then say sorry we can't give you $325 no such deposit happened. If you close the account they send you another invitation but decline to honor $325 promise. I closed my cc as well. read more

I have been dealing with this branch for years. I would definitely recommed this branch for all your needs. The staff is professional, friendly, respectful and very helpful. The manager, Henry, is always available to help you and the Financial Accounts representtive, Eric, is top notch and knowledgable. Cashiers/tellers are always positive and friendly. It's always nice to deal with experienced staff because it saves time and builds confidence. How many other banks do you know where the manager and Financial staff call you by name? This one does. The reason why I left a one star is because Wells Fargo customer service messed up my mortgage payment . But Banker Neetu doesn't deserve any star at all . Wasn't greeted by her , wasn't give any smile or introduce herself . I Came in to fix the bill pay issue but turned out to close the account . Funny thing is that when her manager Mr. H was courteous enough to stand up and gave a a handshake when he was in so much back pain and Miss Neetu refused to go the counter and get a cashier's check for me . What triggers the anger is that she didn't bother to log in the account and take time to review the history and try to find the best solution for the customer . She points the counter and say I do not have the cashier's check . Hello ???? Aren't you the banker ? If you are nice enough you will take time to help , but it seemed to me that you are just waiting the clock to strike at 5 so you can get off work . After I get the cashier 's check I was directed to go back to her if I wish to close the account . Great ! No question asked ! She started to look at my ID and ATM card which was given to her in the beginning . I asked her , " wow I am really surprised that you did not ask the reason why a customer would close an account . ", Neetu said , " I will have you talk to my manager . " and simply turned to Mr.H and said " she wants to talk to you . " I wanted to thank Mr. H who wrote an apology letter stating that it was Wells Fargo's fault so I won't be liable for any late fee . He then walked me out and greeted me . Miss Neetu , I want you to realize that you turned me away from Wells Fargo , by sticking your behind to the chair , you did not communicate with your team members by explaining to them that I need a cashier's check , you simply use your gesture to tell me that you do not want me to be your customer and I am really disgusted by how ignorant you are . I hope your branch manager read this review and redo your training . I don't think I need to experience this kind of service when I have many choices . I've been a Wells Fargo Customer for over 15 years, and one would think if you've been to one bank you've been to all of them. Well this location has impressed me so much that I decided to write up a short review. It's a relatively new location in Irvine, located in a small shopping center. Went in yesterday to ask about mortgage rates. The mortgage consultant Michael actually wasn't in the office, but drove in just to meet us! He was friendly and super helpful. He explained everything precisely and never rushed us even when the bank had closed! We are currently shopping around for a loan and have found some better rates, but I would consider paying a higher amount just for the comfort in knowing that we would be dealing with him. read more

I've been a Wells Fargo customer for about 6 years now, and I'm always been moderately happy with the service. I never really have to go into a branch for anything, and as a modern/lazy girl, I even use the drive up ATMs! However, I was the victim of online fraud (someone opened a virtual Visa card - I know, WTF - and made purchases that came out of my account). I called Wells and was told I had to go into the bank to close the account and re-open a new one. I had never been to this branch before, but it's the closest one to my house. I was amazed at how nice everyone was! It was quiet and not busy, and practically everyone who walked in was greeted by name. Poonam helped me with my account issues, and she was really sweet and answered all my questions. Since then, I have been back to this branch for other things, and all of the tellers are so nice! I mean it's a bank, what do you want me to say!! You go in, fill out a form and they give you money. No but seriously; they are very courteous; they are fast and efficient. They ask you how you are doing and get straight to work: no "how's your day going?" & "any plans for the weekend?". If I wanted to chat with a friend; I WOULD JUST CALL ONE. I asked why i needed one, she said its because they need to issue a receipt. This is the friendliest, most helpful, cheerful bank I have ever been in- maybe one of the best businesses of any kind. I just moved here from out of state and I messed up my account with moving expenses, etc., so I went into this branch that was near my temporary apartment. They got me straightened out, got me better service than I was getting, and made me feel completely at ease. My permanent house is a few miles away from them, and there is a branch just up the corner from me, but I still use this branch because everyone is just so SUPER! I've never even thought to write a review for a bank before, but GREAT service deserves recognition. Wells Fargo as a whole has the worst customer service of any establishment I have ever been to. I am currently dealing with a fraud situation on my credit card and Wells Fargo refuses to honor the things multiple of their representatives have promised. I have been dealing with this issue for over two months at this point and will be filing a complaint with the national reserve. Do not expect any decent notary service from this branch. I made an appointment with them two weeks beforehand. Arrived on time but still waited for 30~45 mins. It was still not the worst - told by the staff to return an hour later as there was only one guy who could work on the service. He gave me a name Mostafa Habbas for any complaint. Frustrating experience. Everything I asked the banker was refered to a telephone number which I had to call , then what is the point of paying the bankers? Having been a customer for 7 years, they wouldn't waive a $30 fee. The same exact fee was waived by chase. Customer service means nothing to them. read more

I have been With Wells Fargo ever since I graduated high school in 2010 until now that I'm a medical student and I have yet to experience bad service until now. Both online and [other] branches throughout the city and other places outside the city I visited, they have been fantastic with making me welcomed and appreciated for my business. However, this location will never approach you; as if they wouldn't want you to be their customer. In my first visit, I spoke to the teller and instructed to wait for a banker, which I didn't get to see any (even with two bankers sitting- either on break or on the clock, working on their station but not helping anyone) after precisely 48 minutes until I left the branch. The second time, I approached one of the bankers and asked if I could speak to him or his coworkers, and Mohammad Elbaz said: "Sure, just give us a moment and someone will be right with you." I waited 9 minutes after seeing the same banker,Mohammad, take a previously appointed customer (which I respect since he has had called or made an arrangement for his needs at the bank so he got to go first even though I was physically there first), and an Asian-decent (Chinese- I heard her conversation over the phone which I was sitting there) banker (lady) on the back, and the other gentleman on the left being on their computer, acknowledging I was waiting and still not approaching me.
