This was my bank for many years... Heck... when they built the place they used some photos I'd taken for the wall mural. But little things had been disappointing for a while, but not enough to do anything about it. Then, my toddler really needed to use the restroom and we were at the bank one day. The teller said the bathroom was for employees only and we should go to Whataburger next door. Last straw. We closed our account and crossed the street and took our money to United Heritage that day. That was 12 years ago. I hadn't stepped foot in there since. Last week I needed something notarized quickly. My bank was busy (I couldn't wait) so I popped over to see if Wells Fargo could. They said only for current customers. I explained how much of a bind I was in (I had 30 minutes before the office I needed the notarized document for would close) and that I was even willing to pay for the service. They said no. Then I realized we had a WF credit card... but somehow I had my wife's card not mine. Instead of looking it up and seeing I was on the account they just said no. I guess some things don't change. If you're looking for a bank and end up here, I suggest you look across the street and head to United Heritage. They've taken very good care of us for 12 years.... Today, Wells Fargo lost my business. On 01/10/2020 a violent wind storm damaged my roof in Kyle, Texas. The insurance company declared my roof totaled and cut me a check payable to me, and my mortgage company. Being in the roofing business, for the past 15 years, I fully know the process. You might even say I (being a retired insurance adjuster) am an expert! I took my insurance check to a local branch of my mortgage company, and they were provided my insurance scope of loss, contract to re-roof my roof and signed off on the check to help me move forward. The branch manager signed off on the check! I took this check, to the Wells Fargo in Kyle Texas. The manager of the branch advised me that Wells Fargo would not take my check for deposit. They insisted the check needed to have a bank stamp of some kind. I provided him the phone number of the lady with my mortgage company that has signed off on the check. He called her. I watched him and even heard some of the call. She confirmed that she had vetted the claim and signed off on the check. He told her she needed a stamp of some kind. She advised him that they had no such stamp. I know this because I called her. Wells Fargo denied me making a $7,000+ check into MY Wells Fargo Bank Account. I walked out the door and walked 100 feet across the parking lot to a CHASE bank that I also have a personal account with. Within 45 seconds of stepping up to the teller window, my insurance check was taken, accepted, with no questions whatsoever and in by Chase Bank Account! I took that deposit back to Wells Fargo in Kyle and showed it to the branch manager and he really had no words, no real concerns, and offered me no future solution. It is apparent Wells Fargo does not want my money, or my business! My account is worth $150-175,000 in deposits. Tomorrow, 01/28/2020 I am opening up a CHASE business account. As a business owner, I do not have time to play these games. This is unadulterated incompetence. I have been a loyal customer of Wells Fargo for 8 years. I have deposited customer checks (signed off by mortgage companies and customers) every month for 8 years. The only locations that Wells Fargo gives me grief with this are Kyle Texas and Dripping Springs, Texas. This is a useless inconvenience for me, having moved from South Austin to Dripping Springs. By the way, I have made these kinds of deposits into my Wells Fargo bank account at Wells Fargo locations ALL over Austin, and various cities with ZERO issues. This is a major inconvenience to me. This is not customer service. If I ran my business like Wells Fargo treats me as a customer, I would be out of business. read more

Don't like waiting 25 minutes in line not just once all the time don't go to the drive thru you will regret it pitty

I wanted to write a review to say thank you to this location! My card had a fraudulent charge on it while on vacation last week. I just got back home and didn't have a new card to pay for anything. I didn't know that I needed an appointment in order to get a temporary card (due to covid). Anyways, long story short, they were able to help me right away and set up my new card on Apple Pay! Very thankful that they helped me out even though I didn't have an appointment! I was able to buy groceries this morning. Thank you for giving me 5 minutes! read more

This has to be the worst customer service I have received at a bank I will never bank here again

I asked for a cashiers check and received a money order. When I told them they had made a mistake, they would not reimburse the fee, and blamed me for their mistake. Not reimbursing fees when your reps make mistakes is bad business.... the poor rep wanted to make it right, but his incompetent manager hindered him from doing the right thing. Avoiding this place at all cost, and taking my money elsewhere. read more

I simply went to Wells Fargo to finish paperwork for auto loan payoff. They acted like they couldn't assist me and the manager was asking what I needed a power of attorney for. Then went on to explaining what one is needed for. I told her it didn't matter what I needed it for nor what it was for. I asked if they would help me or not. Saying yes. I sent a fax. Of course they couldn't even fax it to the proper fax location. Which I'm sure was meaningful. At the end of the day. If your not able to provide customers with decent service. You need a new job. You have one and couldn't even do that. I hate coming in here. There was one teller who used to be sweet. Other than that. It's a typical bank that doesn't know what they are doing. Nothing special. wells fargo bank what more can i say they have been my primary bank where ever ive lived in the USA . service is outstanding expecially at this branch. always at least one person busy of not looks up and greats you as you walk in ,cashiers always with a smile. and ive never been charged for the accounts,blank checks .or any of the online services. they must be doing something right as nearly everytime i go there somebody is waiting in line *cant say that about all banks * used them for at least 25 years dont see any reason to change . read more

I am going to give this establishment a single star, in spite of a couple of the employees being very friendly. I would trade less friendly service for prompt and correct service. The customer service for the commercial line is horrendous, and believe me, I have gone there on a regular basis for years. (It is not my choice to bank here, or else I would have left a long time ago.) The wait times for commercial customers are exceedingly long. I see many personal banking customers come and go through the regular drive up lines all while I am still waiting on my transaction. I know that Wells Fargo cares only about personal banking customers to establish a customer service rating. It is definitely not first in line gets served first. It is more like "We will get to you when everyone else is taken care of, even though you were next in line." The commercial accounts are pushed aside. It may not be so bad except for the employees laughing, joking and playing around taking forever to handle my business. I get having fun at work and not being so uptight, but when I drive all the way across town to drop off the deposits and change orders only to have to GO BACK to the bank to pick up the money from the change order they FORGOT to put in the deposit bag, it makes for a very unhappy commercial customer. Pay attention to your customers, ALL of your customers and treat them like you would want to be treated, regardless of what kind of account they have. Hopefully this situation will be remedied, but if history is any indication, it will never be resolved. read more
