Unfortunately, it did not work because the debit card had some kind of glitch in it. No matter what store I stopped at and what I tried to buy I could never use this card. It always declined the purchases and I had gone back-and-forth every day since last Friday. I was even issued a new card and I still experience the same problem, declined. When I went back to the bank the last time I was frustrated and decided to close my account. It was then that I found out that perhaps the reason why I could not use the card was because purchases had not been checked as one of the uses for the card. I did not understand this because if I am not going to purchase anything I would not have needed a debit card.

Yet I have rebound. Open the checking applied for the loan and the next morning I was told the loan was denied on the basis they never per policy loan to anyone who has ever filed bankruptcy. So my credit of 719 got dinged. Then ask to close the new checking account 14 hrs old and they charged me $25.00 to close. I spoke to everyone to try and resolve all the issues and they offered no help. Said thats the way we operate period!

They were the first place I went to because they were so close to my house- when I was told how much it would be, I cancelled it. However, before I was told the total- the woman asked for my social security number, then wrote it down on a piece of paper as well as my address. Once I cancelled, I asked for the paper she wrote my social down on so I can properly discard of it- she said she had other information on there she needed of her own, and she would shred it, she said this while folding the paper- I asked if I could see her shred it due to it being important information of mine and she said ok. I'm 90% sure she grabbed a different piece of paper and threw it into the shredder because this paper was not folded like the one that had my information on it I left very sketched out, and I realize I should have pressed harder to get my information but it just seemed like I would get the run around anyway- I did get her name and of course, I know she works there so if anything pops up credit that I did not authorize- I'll know where to circle back to. Would not recommend to cashing your checks or money orders here.
