If I could give zero stars I would. If you're deciding to use this location or another, I would try my luck with another location. They are awful. I will actually be closing my account due to how rude this Murphy location is. Do not use this bank especially if doing wire transfers. I was at this branch on 03/14/2025 around noon-ish, apparently the people who work at this branch are lazy and incompetent, I had a letter from Wells Fargo in the mail regarding a cashiers check they allegedly sent to me but never arrived (probably because they never sent it and love to play games.) The teller looked like a dear caught in the headlights when I presented the letter I received in the mail that stated I could goto any Wells Fargo branch, I went to one closest to my house in Sachse, but apparently he said he couldn't help me and would need to goto the Murphy branch and they could handle it (I think he was probably not wanting to do his job, I have no idea WHY have branch if you can't assist me when the letter says I can walk into any branch to get help?) The guy that helped me said: would you like to schedule a time to meet with a banker? Me: isn't that why I'm here? Are there no bankers on a regular working business hour day that can help me at this very moment? I just walked out and left the dude with the letter I received in the mail, I really don't care, which is WHY I left Wells Fargo in the first place, lack of customer service and care, everything is a production and ordeal with this bank, nothing is transparent. I hate going into a banks lobby as much as I do going to the dentist. Perfect point, as a customer I went in to get a simple notary done today at 2 PM in the afternoon and there was one person working in the lobby. I don't get why people think their time is more valuable than customers but sitting around and waiting and wasting my time was not on my agenda today. I went down to UPS and spent six dollars. I probably still saved 30 minutes of my time, which is more valuable than six dollars I spent. It just pisses me off there's not better customer service around anymore. Love this place! Lines are never long; everyone's super helpful. I often come inside before Chinese New Years to get brand new money and they always have plenty on hand! I just also found out they do money exchanges here!!!! They will officially do it mid March or end of March! I was able to order Vietnamese dongs and United Emriates money and they are over nighting it the monies. Once they officially do money exchange, they'll have to money on site so you wouldn't have to wait! This is so exciting as I don't have to drive to Dallas anymore!!! read more

DO NOT BANK HERE. I am yelling it from the Roof Top. STAY AWAY. YOUR MONEY IS PROBABLY SAFER UNDER YOUR BED. I could have given them ZERO stars if that choice was available. I banked here for 21 years which was the greatest mistake ever but it's finally time to move on. Rude customer service personnel. Incompetent Fraud department. Improper handling of the routine service. Even my contact with their Executive office was pitiful. I don't know if their staff get any training in customer service. I have a relationship with other banks and the difference is clear. Wells Fargo will always be in the "small league" when it comes to how their customers are treated. I had apparent fraud happen on one of my "minor's" accounts with Wells Fargo and they still cannot get the story right despite over 8 hours of being on hold on their phone lines and about 3 hours of speaking with multiple individuals with peanut-sized brains. Rather than address the problem at hand on the minor's account after close to 3 weeks of filing claims and Wells Fargo's mismanaging affairs. The best Wells Fargo could do was to block my account in the 3rd week of their sitting idle on the job and locking me out of my funds. Again, it was not my account involved but I called Wells Fargo on my child's behalf. My account was never the issue and why my account is blocked because of the event on another account that beats me. I am told I need to go into a branch to be identified like I am the criminal when I am the victim. When you have Fraud occur on your Wells Fargo account, their first action is to victimize you all over again. Over a decade ago, my entire paycheck drove out of my account, Wells Fargo Mismanaged that too. I was told that I was responsible for the apparent fraudulent charges following Wells Fargo. It took 2 months for them to reset their brain and do the right thing. I CANNOT EVEN GET AN APPOINTMENT AT A BRANCH LOCATION FOR SEVERAL DAYS. Incompetence is not a crime when you attempt to make up for it by working extra hard or show extra effort. Sadly, this location has one too many incompetent yet snotty/unfriendly employees that ultimately forced our switch to another bank. My mother was a loyal Wachovia customer for more than 30 years and I for over 15 years (Wachovia became Wells Fargo a few years ago) so naturally we transitioned into Wells Fargo customers. The service and attitude of employees at this location are COMPLETELY different from what we're used to with former Wachovia employees, who were nice, courteous, and professional. This includes tellers, management, and customer associates. I had one teller who rolled her eyes at me and cut me off constantly mid sentence when I was trying to find out some information for my mother. A customer service associate got mad at me for not proactively contacting Wells Fargo to update my cell phone number (I got a new phone and updating my number with Wells Fargo was NOT on my priority list) so she was unable to contact me via phone when there were some confusion regarding the set up of my retirement acct. These are just 2 examples out a number of unpleasant experiences. I tried communicating my dissatisfaction with a manger-type individual and she completely brushed me off and acted like a lost of my business was no biggie at all. So after decades of banking with Wachovia, we sadly shut our accounts with Wells Fargo and moved on to another institution that actually appreciates our business and warrants our respect. 9 yrs and very satisfied!!! I've only noticed a few times when the ATM's broken but anytime I deal with folks in this or any branch as well as number for customer service its always been professional and they never sound like their reading from a script........ Not to mention having their call center here in the USA where everyone speaks English.
