I had a very disappointing experience at this Wells Fargo branch today. I came in to get statements and information for my closed business accounts. Instead of trying to help, the banker I spoke with was dismissive, had an attitude, and told me to come back another day simply because I didn't know the exact date I opened my account--which is exactly why I came to the branch for assistance. What made it more frustrating was that another employee, Astrid, was able to help me almost immediately. She scheduled an appointment, gave me my account numbers, and provided the branch manager's contact information. That showed my request could have been handled from the beginning. I want to thank Astrid for being professional and helpful. Unfortunately, my interaction with the other banker left me feeling dismissed and unwelcome. I hope Wells Fargo addresses how customers are treated because no one should feel like they're being brushed off when they're simply asking for help. read more

This place definitely deserves 0 stars. We arrived to close an account and they told us it was 20 minute wait and it turned into an hour wait. There was only one desk accountant and he ended going to lunch. The manager who told us the wait time did not let us know us know that there was an appointment coming in and he said it might be longer wait and we were the only one waiting! It would be helpful if they had a physical waitlist paper to sign in or a kiosk so you can know realistically the wait time. The line for the window attendants also had at least a 15-20 minute wait. Went to the ATM this morning, requested $150 and charged $3.00. It dispensed $130, 1 $50 and 4 $20's. They have a long ass line waiting outside there's elderly ppl and it's always 45 min to and hour and half wait just walk in the bank. They only have 1 teller while the other one counts pennies and another employee watch. Poor service and poor management. They've upped their game here and service is much better than when they first opened. The new manager is really nice and accommodating. Although the tellers are faster than they used to be, I REALLY wished that they were more efficient with their time and above all OUR time when they get carried away with small talk with customers. For the most part, the older tellers are strictly "business only" , however they are proficient at multi-tasking (they'll ask you about your family etc as they process your transaction. The younger ones stop everything and ask a question as though they were the proverbial deer in the headlights). This branch has become alarmingly aggressive with attempting to recruit new business - mortgages, CDs, IRAs. Back in the day when Branch Manager Betty Chacon was there, the Branch culture was far more professional and civilized. These days, I limit my transactions and will probably close my account here as my primary banks are BofA and Chase. Today, One of the "lady suits" asked me why I was not interested in doing additional banking there. I explained," management has changed, but more importantly the aggressive behavior and incessant face to face marketing has alienated me to the point where I view them as Jehovah Witnesses knocking at my front door and I don't wish to open the door". (Meaning no disrespect to JWs, I am just not a fan of any organization's aggressive marketing) I then asked "Do you comprehend what I have just explained to you?" She replied "Yes, you don't like coming here because Betty is no longer here". -Sigh- She is extremely CLUELESS...I might as well have spoken to one of the artificial plants in their lobby. And she wants to manage my retirement accounts???? A suggestion to her or her Parents would be: Contact the Admissions Department of the school (College/University) that you attended. Show them this review. Ask them to provide you, at no charge, with a class in rudimentary listening and comprehension. We called customer service and spoke with someone and they said there was no reason for them not to cash it since it was made to my boss. I am NOT a customer with Wells Fargo, but I came in the bank with a check to cash for work. After showing them two forms of ID AND handing over my work name badge and business card, 3 employees stared at me and my check like they had NO IDEA how to help me. The check was written to CASH. And the memo had my name in it! After they stood there like idiots for a few minutes they called a fourth employee over. So all FOUR of them stood there staring at the check and my ids. The manager on shift Shelia Bryd-Williams was very rude and dismissive, she was more concerned about the provisional credit on my account because my account had been compromised instead of focusing on providing an amazing customer experience. I had an issue with getting funds released and it wasnt resolved in store. Im not going to lie I was pretty upset and although I didnt cause a scene in the store it was written on my face that I was very unhappy. I went home to relax and forget about the problem I just had. I couldnt have been home for longer than 20 minutes when the branch manager called me to personally apologize for my experience and to actually offer resolutions rather than words. Worst customer service ever! I spoke to Jerry alfaro who helped me complete my online account set up, which he called me telling me I needed to go in or my account could be closed. I went in the same day and asked for him, when he called me to his desk he seemed bothered (maybe because he was pulling his d**k with another co-worker before I walked in) I told him I was there to complete my online account..he really seem annoyed and wanted to get me out of his hair. We completed the transaction. I had to go back and was fortunate (being sarcastic) to talk to him again, I was having a problem with the routing # he gave me for my direct deposit...long story short he was ready to close my account instead of finding a resolution. I went into the bank to replace my debit card which I lost, sort of glum because due to my recent financial circumstances I dreaded walking into the bank and having to meet with a banker who would see my over drafted account which never was is but due to overdraft fees it was. Anyhow I walked in and right away a gentleman but the name Luis greeted me and asked if he can assist me. He helped me right away with a smile and got me a replacement card right away. He then asked if I had tried to call customer service to see if hey can waive some fees for me. I said No and he proceeded to dial and spoke to someone over the phone and was able to reverse some of those overdrafts for me as a courtesy. I was genuinely impressed on how he handled that and seen my smile and he was satisfied by that. He then proceeded to get up, brought me a cold water and said he would be right back and when he came back BOOM!! He spoke to the branch manager and was able to reverse more of my fees!!! I wanted to cry because it was the most nicest thing I could be ever asked for AND THE LAST THING i wanted to talk about when I walked in!!!! I was able to afford to transfer the money to take care of the account right away!!! Luis made my day in such a big way. It's because of people like him that I stay banking with Wells Fargo and his customer service was off the charts. Wells Fargo is lucky to have a courteous, smart engaging gentleman like Luis. After Seven years of banking I'm done! I normally avoid going inside as the lines are always long and as soon as you walk in you get sales pitch after sales pitch! Everyone wants you to open an account whether it's savings, or transferring my retirement, and business accounts! When they first opened Betty Chacon was the Branch Manager and things were really good back then! Now there is Katyna Hernandez! EEEKKKKK Run! Apparently she has been there for awhile but today was my first encounter! CLUELESS My account had suspicious activity so they placed a hold on my account? I use the ATMs for all my deposits as I hate going in to the bank! My card reads invalid Card? I try all three ATMs and the same response. So I use my Business ATM and figure I will transfer the funds from home. I attempted to use the card a couple of days later for a deposit and again same reading so I guess maybe it's my card. I go in and the greeter said I will order you one right away! (he should have offered a temporary?) he comes back and tells me ok all done it will be there usually 5 days. So I wait, and wait! Then my mortgage company calls me to say they can't put a payment through as my account is closed? Weird right? You think they would tell me this? So the bank refused to make the payment and now I'm getting a late fee from my bank? Their response is they can't type a letter that I can send to them sorry? Spoke with Eduardo Espana who seemed helpful at first. I tell him I need a working ATM card today, he responds "you have to come back tomorrow?" He needs a manager to approve it? mmmm would that be that branch manager that is locked her office? Seriously I'm super annoyed at this point! She comes out and it looks like she was napping! anyways she can only order me a card and I will have it in a few days? NOT HELPFUL at all! Customers beware new customers especially went in to open new account have had the account for about month-and-a-half had deposited two checks prior when they put a hold on check they will hold your check for 10 days without giving you any notice when asking for explanation they inform you that the representative should have giving you that information when opening a new account was never given information this not only has put me in a financial situation but I have heard that has done the same to others this Bank specifically told me that the representatives do not have to release that information which I think is bogus anybody who is opening a new account should be aware of any holds that are put on checks especially 10-day hold I have never had a bank put 10 day holds all new customers should be aware of Wells Fargo and how they are not informing customers of information and/or fees to me they have misled us and are not only misleading but putting us in situations to where we are not able to access our funds for all new customers these are not explain as well you may see hidden fees just like they may all of the sudden tell you you have a 10 day hold I would advise anybody with a new account to close and/or to avoid Wells Fargo read more

wells fargo is a complete joke!!!! i am more than dissapointed in their customer service. i cant say the same about all branches, but this one in specific needs to really get it together. teller and manager denied service because they said that my interim drivers license and 4 other forms of identification was not sufficient. went to a different branch up the street and they honored my id's with no questions asked. this was all after they ran my check thrrough theeir machine and when i deposited it into a different account it was denied due to "duplicate check" i had to go to hr at my job and have them reissue another payroll check! complete waste of time! completely unprofessional! complete joke! submitted a conplaint at branch and resolutions team hung up phone on me 3 times because they could not locate me in their system!
